Here for an 7:00 am appointment for my tires. My experience with Firestone has been less than favorable but my tires are under warranty... so here I am. I choose this location because when I arrived for my appt yesterday at the Florida Mall location I was told 3 techs called out and it would likely be 3 hrs before someone got in.... So here I am... Initially my impression was blah... because after walking in and saying good morning the store manager was distracted with something he was doing on the computer. I got checked in pretty quickly after waiting 5 mins or so... but after 15 mins my car is still in the same spot...the guys are busy having a conversation about the employee that supposedly was leaving his position on August 1 however decided he was coming in today to clean out his desk ... Maybe it's an unrealistic expectation to get decent customer service at an auto repair shop. Another customer came and the manger was extremely rude to her. Went in for a simple slow leak repair from a tire I bought from them! Paid for the road hazard $$$, I showed them the tire that I had plugged to get it there and the service guy said "nope can't work on it"! It's plugged! You have got to be kidding me! I will never never ever buy another tire from Firestone or the parent company Bridgestone again!!! Corporations have lost their minds about not patching radial tires! I took it to Mannys tires on 436 and they did the job for 25 bucks! Didn't bat an eye ! Went there for tires and alignment but a tie rod was needed to replace to get the alignment. At first we were not going to get the alignment because of costs but they gave us some good discounts to make it happen. Customer service was good. Military and Veterans receive a 10% discount and it helps. Will go back for any car repairs in the future. We were walk-ins and taken care of. read more

Bought two front tires from this place in January. A month later I had a flat tire from a defective tire. I was stranded and had to take the flat to another place. They showed me the bubble on the side of the tire and when they removed it there was a big chunk missing with steel exposed. I took the tire back to this location for a refund. Danny made every excuse not to give me a refund, raised his voice. Called me a liar and called me rude. I finally got the partial refund on the tire. took my car here once for a broken coolant hose to be replace, an hour after leaving my car they called me to say my type of hose isnt manufactured anymore and they would need to bring someone to fabricate a new hose for an extra $100 charge. A week later I had the same problem, I went under the hood and found the problem in less than 10 minutes and replaced it with a hose FOR MY CAR from autozone and fixed the issue for about $10 read more

I brought my 2013 Hyundai sonata in to have two bolts and two lugnuts replaced on the right rear tire of my car. They quoted my husband 220 on the phone and then they raised the price to 247 when they called back. We argued with the price since it went up and asked how much the parts and labor were the parts only were about $30 and the labor was 155 (all before taxes). We tried to talk them down as this is an absurd price for such minimal labor put in for a small job and they added a 10% coupon. You could hear the guy in the background when we were on the phone come grab the phone out of the girls hand we were originally talking to and basically try to argue that we didn't know what we were talking about and justify the price. We were put off by the attitude from this guy and the increasing pricing but we said to go ahead with the repair. They also called to try and say all these things were wrong with my car including my brights that I just changed myself last week. So I can tell they try to call and squeeze money out of people for parts that aren't even in need of replacing or repair. Finally we get the call that the car is done so we head on over my husband goes in grabs the keys and we check out the tire. We were able to unscrew the new lug nut with our fingers. So we paid 155 in labor for me to possibly drive my car and the new lug nut fall off I lose them or even worse my tire. Let's be honest how often do we all look at our tires for lug nuts especially the back one. These people don't care about you or your safety or satisfaction as a customer. read more

I had a couple wheels changed about two weeks ago and the tire pressure sensor was not initialized. I pulled into this location because it was across the street from my dentist appointment despite the fact my dentist told me they had just done some tire work for him and got the tires on the wrong side of the car and he had to take it back to them twice to straighten that and another matter out. I should have heeded my dentist warning and not gone here to ask a simple question like can you show me where The tire pressure initialization button is because I could not locate it where my manual said it should be. The first guy working on a tire puncture had no idea what I was talking about after explaining it to him three times and he told me to pull around to the front which I did and somebody who supposedly knew more than he did also had no idea what I was talking about and wanted me to pay to have him check for me. I told him it was a very simple switch that tire stores had been locating readily for me for the last 15 years I've owned this vehicle and it should not be a big deal but he was not going to look at it unless I paid him labor charges. Went to this Firestone location to replace two tires that I knew were wearing thin. I stopped by to price them the day before and set appointment to return the next morning. When I got there the "estimate" was quite a bit more than quoted. The response was honest, the wrong tires had been ordered. Next line of through me off, when I was told he was going to give me a great deal on these. When I explained that the only reason I had driven from Dr Phillips to Conway was I had used them many times when I lived there but could go to a competitor that was much closer to home that I had priced. Still haggled until I picked up my keys and said thanks. They changed their minds and gave me the tires for quoted price. Good business just wish it hadn't taken 20 minutes to get there. While replacing my tires I was told I needed brakes. I told them I'd wait. They warned against too long. About 3 weeks later brakes started grinding. About 4 weeks I took it back in for repair. Quoted price around $320 and 2 hrs. Two hours later I get a call and the news is not good. Can't do the work as planned. Brakes are too far gone. Really need brakes to drive so authorize it. Two more hours later out the door after paying $720. Extra cash didn't bother me as I knew I needed new breaks not just pads. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I brought my car into this location exactly one month ago 6/29 because a coolant light came on in my car. This was unexpected because I had refilled my coolant fluid not long before. So, I suspected there must be a leak somewhere. I brought it in, they "found a leak" and suggested I replace the one of the radiator hoses. Either upper or lower, I'm not 100% at the moment. So, I did as recommended. Not even 3 weeks later, same problem. Coolant indicator comes on in my dashboard. So, I bring it back. They tell me it'll take about an hour to run some more tests and they will call me when they find out what's wrong. 3 hours later, and still no call, I finally call them to see what's going on. They tell me the leak is coming from a different part. Fine, I replace this part as well. Mind you, this is $350 for the parts and labor. I had already spent $150 previously to fix this same leak a few weeks prior. Whatever. The VERY NEXT DAY after leaving the shop, guess what happens? Coolant light comes on AGAIN! So, yesterday I bring it in and they tell me it's the other radiator hose now. I replace that as well for another $50. Less than 24 hours later, today on the way to work, can you guess what happens? The coolant light comes on YET AGAIN! So now, I've WASTED all this TIME and MONEY (close to $600) and I still have the SAME EXACT PROBLEM, which originally brought me to the shop in the first place! I've replaced all these parts, which now I can only assume, after 3 visits, looks like were never the cause of the problem at all! Even worse, I've probably damaged my car further by driving it this whole time, and my car is STILL NOT FIXED! Each time I brought my car back, they ran the same tests, even after I expressed my concerns to the managers that maybe they're looking at the wrong parts. They assured me each time they found the leak/problem. This place is filled with a bunch of incompetent managers and mechanics. They refused to take any responsibility for the multiple misdiagnoses and repairs they performed on my car. Instead, they blamed it on my car being old. I have a '04 BMW 325ci. Now, I'm no car expert, but what are the chances that 3 separate parts in my coolant system break all at the same time?! If so, why couldn't you find evidence of this the first time around? WHY DO I STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM?! I wonder what bullshit they would tell me now? But, I will never find out because I will NEVER step foot in this place, or any other Firestone again! I would suggest you do the same. **UPDATE 9/3/2015** So, only after complaining on Facebook, Twitter and posting this review here and on their official site, someone finally reached out to me to try and rectify this situation once and for all. Reluctantly, I had to take my car back to Firestone, but this time, I chose the Colonial location. They were very apologetic and helpful, however they were unable to fix or properly diagnose my problem either. They ran an engine block test, in which they said failed, meaning it was likely a gasket problem. Wrong again, but I'll get to that later. They told me they are unable to do these types of repairs (in reality, they were probably just ready to cut their losses) so, they gave me a full refund (which required me to drive back to the original location) on all the previous repairs and sent me on my way. I took my car to another shop and within 1 hour, they were able to tell me exactly what was wrong. It was the water pump. The mechanic actually showed me the broken piece and also said anyone with basic knowledge of cars should have been able to see this right away. He also informed me, the parts Firestone used on my recent "repairs" were very cheap and would mostly likely break again sooner than normal. After 1 day my car was repaired and I haven't had any problems since. My advice, stay far far away from this location and all Firestones! But if they do manage to somehow screw you over, go straight to cooperate and use the power of social media! We had work done by this Firestone location in November 2018. They put new CV joints on my wife's Mazda5. While the joints were fine, after a few days we were noticing some looseness and clunking coming from the front undercarriage. I took it back to the Firestone shop and they examined it at tightened everything for me, for free, and quickly. So I dropped my truck off on 1/21/22 at 9:20am because I had a tire go flat the night before and I paid $30 something for them to patch my tire and was promised my truck by 10am. At 12:40pm I finally got my truck back after being told 3 times over a 45 minute time period that they just have to torque down my lug nuts. So fast forward to 1/29/22 I'm back home to my tire store and that same tire had kept going flat but I was moving back home on 1/22/29 so I finally got a chance to fix it on the 29th and there was no patch on the inside and the true cause of the tire going flat was corrosion on the wheel where the bead of the tire sets on the wheel but instead of them telling me that, they charged me $30 for a patch when they didn't do that work and all they would've had to do is be honest about it and say you had corrosion on your wheel and then charge me a fair price for taking 5 minutes to clean a wheel with a wire brush but instead decide its okay to screw over their customers. I guess that's what you get with a 3.5 star business. read more

I drove from Miami to Orlando this weekend and noted my wheels needed balancing. I went to a competitor but they did not provide Road Force balancing. Firestone was the nearest place that offered RoadForce balancing. It's similar to regular balancing but takes into account the actual drag of the tire while rolling. They offered a fair price; to be expected: about $20 per wheel/tire. What WAS unexpected to me was the quality of the customer service. Wow! From how they handled my prior-to-visit phone call to how they explained everything (services my vehicle needed) to the actual service. The wait was longer than expected but I was so blown away by the professionalism in the staff and their friendly customer service that the time and okay pricing was well worth it. What is the point of an appointment time if it's still going to take you an hour to even take the vehicle to the back to be worked on? The employees were frustrating to work with and the fact that it took a whole hour to even take the car to be worked on when I set an appointment is ridiculous. I'm not a huge fan of this location. Most of the time I'll make an appointment the day before and I'll arrive on time. Then they won't touch my car for about an hour even though they tell me that the appointment is only going to take about 20 min. Recently I called ahead to make an appointment and when I showed up I wasn't even on the schedule. So I had to come back the next day and wait the usual hour and 20 min. Although I will say they were nice enough to give me a discount for the trouble and the mechanics are friendly.
