Today I came in because my windshield wiper fluid was not coming out after my last stop at jiffy lube, and the mechanic took extra time to figure out a repair so that way I could get it working. Not only was the pricing more transparent, but they also offered to replace my lights, completed a full inspection, and provided helpful recommendations without pressure. Customer service was professional, efficient, and well-organized. In contrast, my previous experiences with Jiffy Lube did not feel as consistent in value or service. Just a friendly heads-up: people are actively discussing local auto service businesses on platforms like Nextdoor, Reddit, TikTok, and Facebook. Word travels fast. I got my oil changed yesterday and Joshua Parker made me feel very uncomfortable. He was very unprofessional, and had little to no social skills. He didn't go over oil options with me at all, and when it was time to pay he asked for my card without telling me the price or telling me that he needed to take it inside to run the transaction. I have never had to give my card over to pay for an oil change before. When he brought me my new mileage sticker, he stood at my open window until I looked up from my book to take it from him (instead of saying, "here I have this for you.") Came in for an oil change and new spark plugs. Was the only car in the shop and it still took over 2 hours because they had to order spark plugs from another store (after saying they had them in stock). The spark plugs were sold to me as dealership quality but turned out to be after-market. On top of that, they were installed incorrectly which caused damage to my car. Everyone I spoke with was unhelpful and all they offered to do was install new spark plugs (another 2+ hours) but refused to cover any costs for the damage that was directly caused by their poor work. Come in for a simple oil change and expect to leave with vehicle damage and over $1,000 in expenses. Horrible, horrible experience all around. There are infinitely better options, please save yourself the trouble, do not go here. read more

Don't come here. I recently visited this jiffy lube location last month. Safe to say I'll never go to one again. Their customer service is one of the most awful I have ever experienced in my life! Ruined my day. I was almost refused service because they assumed I was there to make trouble, when I had made no trouble at all. I was simply there to get help with my car, I was polite and respectful even after they were rude to me. I hope it had nothing to do with my skin color. Simply unprofessional and rude. Jiffy Lube got a bad rap nationally some years ago. I feel like these guys are doing a great job of eradicating that negativity. I'm not rich, my car is old, and they don't push stuff I don't need. I don't recommend this place for DEQ. I own an ODB-II code reader myself, and I made sure my car's drive cycle was complete and all categories were cleared before I came in. For some reason, instead of having me pull into the bay, they plugged their OBDII reader into my car in the entrance lane. The device wouldn't connect to their computer properly at that distance. There was nothing wrong with the bay, it was empty, they even had me pull forward another foot or so during the attempt. When their computer still couldn't connect, they told me that my car had failed and I would need to go to a DEQ center. They also said that they couldn't tell me anything about the problem, except that it was definitely my problem, and I could not try again. I immediately drove a few minutes up the road to a different JiffyLube, completed the test, and passed without any issues. I wish I had just gone to the other place first. read more

Last time going to any jiffy lube. There was one car ahead of me in the bay, so I think oh great I won't be here too long.... Wrong. It takes 45 minutes til I get to pull my vehicle in..... as expected they tried to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need.... What inspired me to post this review is the fact that they said there was "no cabin air filter". My car was not manufactured with "no cabin air filter" and I have only taken it to jiffy lube in the past. Which leaves me wondering how it became non existent in the first place. The answer is obvious. The mentally handicapped staff of jiffy lube misplaced it on a past oil change and then sold me another one today. These people are not mechanics, they are sleazeball salesman and con artists. read more

Had my oil changed here today. Folks working here were great, efficient and helpful. Told me my filter was good and didn't need changing even though it was a bit dirty looking. This is the first time I have ever given a business a one star. I wish I followed the warning from previous customers. This was my first and will be my last time at this Jiffy Lube location, and most likely all locations. It started when I got there at 8:00 am, I wanted to get there when it opened to beat the rush. The sign said OPEN but the doors were closed. A man came out and said "true talk, we're not ready yet". I waited in the parking lot for a few minutes, then they came and got me. The service itself only took about 15 minutes. I was offered many more services than I wanted, I only wanted an oil change. This I have come to expect from Jiffy Lube, so I was consistent and firm in saying "I am just here for an oil change." My car was ready to go by about 8:25 am. I did not leave until probably 9:30, however, because their computers were not working. After waiting for about 40 minutes I asked if I could pay cash, or even leave a card so I could leave and come back later. They said no. I waited for over an hour in a cold lobby with a car that was ready to go, absolutely stuck and powerless. No way to spend a Saturday morning. I understand that the technology issues was out of their hands, I just wish they would have made sure that everything was up and running before they even opened to begin with. If I would have known that their computers were down from the very beginning, I would have gone to another location. The entire time I waited my car was still on, I don't even want to know how much gas was wasted during that hour. When I finally was able to check out, they took $12 off my bill for the "inconvenience." When I got in my car, one of the employees said "we'll see you next time... hopefully." I don't care to have a copy and pasted response from Shawn Corno, the Area Manager like he has done with the other reviews. I would have liked a greater discount than 20%. I would have liked to not be trapped in a freezing lobby. I would have liked things to be open and running when they are advertised to be open. Went to their website and it said a basic oil change was as low as $25. I had to pay $68. Wasn't going to leave a review until I was informed by another Jiffy Lube location that this location itself is known for scamming which I experienced a couple weeks ago when I went in for a standard oil change. Krystal was the person helping me when I said I wanted a basic oil change. I was waiting in the office when she came in to let me know there was a $20 coupon so I agreed thinking it was being applied to the basic $50 price. What she failed to inform me was that this was for a $120 premium oil that I did not ask for and had no knowledge of until I was set to pay and it was too late. She also ran a "test" on my battery claiming it was almost dead and that she suggest I buy a new battery on the spot. I declined because it was not apart of my budget at the time being when I was already spending and extra unknown $50 for an oil change. After I declined my sister who was in the office waiting with me overheard her say that she "hoped I had jumper cables with me" which in hindsight was totally inappropriate and gave me anxiety thinking my car battery would die at any given moment. I went to a different Jiffy Lube location today to replace the said "almost dead battery" they said there was nothing wrong with it and showed me the testing device with a green light and correct number score it should be testing at. After this whole experience I couldn't not share this story and inform other potential customers here of their lack of integrity with their customers and dishonesty. I will be asking for a refund from my botched oil change as well. read more

I have used Jiffy Lube for over 18 years. I have been to this location on numerous occasions without a hitch. Arrived about a half hour ago as I needed a new headlight for my Subaru. Was told that there would be a 20 minute wait. Ok, fine. I am on my lunchbreak and need to get this fixed. 5 minutes waiting and they guide me into the bay. Awesome, quicker than I thought! I then sit there for over 20 minutes. No one has acknowledged me at all. I then ask, how much longer? Guy responds that his 3 guys are still working on another car and that he told me it would be a few minutes. Super snarky response. WRONG answer. Standard customer service response is "I am sorry sir, appreciate your patience, it will just be a few more minutes. There is a bathroom, drinks inside etc. So, I cut bait and left the bay. They don't like that and once I am out someone yells, NEVER COME BACK! Not only will I never come back, but I have posted this incident all over social media and will tell as many friends and family as I can to never use this companies services. This was the first time I've gone to a Jiffy Lube to get my oil change, and I was really pleased with how quick and inexpensive it was! The guy who helped me out also made sure to do some basic, routine checks on my engine and cabin filters--he laid these out in front of me so I could see them for myself and noted they were in great shape. He did try to upsell me on a few things, but this is part of a rep's job, and he quickly understood when I told him I had a coupon just for the conventional oil change. I took my 2017 car in for a routine oil change. They promptly completed my service while I waited in the lobby. A few days after service my oil light went on suggesting I was low on oil. I returned to jiffy lube and asked them to check and make sure everything was fine. They said they checked everything and the oil was still full and there was no issues so I left knowing I would need to schedule service with Subaru to figure why the oil light was acting up. I had started to notice a few oil spot on my driveway around this time but have multiple cars one being a 2001 that I would not have been surprised if it had an oil leak. So I schedule service for that car as well as my Subaru. I had the mechanic replace the oil pan on my 2001 Civic since my Subaru appointment was still a few weeks out. He said the oil pan was a bit rusty but couldn't tell if it was actually dripping. This got me thinking and so I took my Subaru to another oil changing business and explained the situation. After looking under the car they explained to me the Jiffy Lube had used the wrong washer or bolt and oil was leaking out from under the car. They said it was very easy to see by anyone who knows about this stuff. I am baffled that I went to so much trouble and expense to rectify a situation that shouldn't have happened in the first place and should have been found when I took it back a few days later to be inspected. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. A truly frustrating situation caused by poor service. I do not plan on returning to this location or another Jiffy Lube at this point. read more

We got an oil change yesterday and, on our first trip afterwards, the car broke down on the side of I-5 in the scariest location imaginable--right before the Freemont Bridge where there isn't much of a shoulder. On the one hand, shame on us, because we'd had something similar happen two years ago: our car broke down after an oil change there when they accidentally cut a tube. My husband explained to the manager yesterday that we were really reluctant to go back due to prior experience, and the manager was very friendly, promised us it would never happen again, and gave us a discount. We assumed that a) he was telling the truth and b) we'd be fine because, hey, how could the same thing happen twice??? (As of right now, we have no idea what's actually wrong with the car, because it's sitting at an auto shop where it was towed and from where we had to uber home in the middle of the night.) Well, it did. We chose convenience over common-sense and paid for it with a very scary hour on the side of the freeway (with our small child, nonetheless). Bottom line: THIS JIFFY LUBE LOCATION IS TERRIBLE. For your own safely, DO NOT GO THERE. read more

I skimmed reviews on Jiffy Lube and I think you're either content or displeased with little in-between. The only thing I would go for is for their basic conventional oil change and stay in your car the entire time so that you have a full control of what is going on and know right away if they're abusing your car. The good thing: I got in at like 5:30 and was out of there at about 5:50 with a new filter and oil for $20, which in my opinion is the only thing worth going to Jiffy Lube and is actually a good deal. A regular oil change is worth having it done by someone as long as you can have it done for $20 within 60 - 90 minutes. When you add the cost of gas to drive to/from store, then drive again to get rid of the spent oil and supplies used to clean up your area, you're easily past $20 and 60-90 minutes already spent on oil. JL prey on upselling you services that you did not come in for. I pre-declined everything and the tech instantly turned from pleasant to a total jerk rude bastard as if I just dined and dashed on him. Maybe rudeness is their technique to discourage customers who they don't have a hope of upselling to from coming back. Oh well, let them go off on you, and let it out the other ear. Stay in your car and be very assertive that you do not want anything done that you did not ask for and keep an eye out so that they don't mess with anything else and don't get talked into opening your wallet. Don't let them "check" anything else and don't let them mess with your tires. read more

I'm someone who gets really nervous and anxious when having to do something new for something I'm not very knowledgeable about, and I know next to nothing about car maintenance. Went in yesterday for long overdue oil change and Travis was awesome! Very friendly and personable; didn't come off pushy salesman. I'm having transmission issues and he recommended three different places. Also gave me a great tip on buying new tires. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars is the headlight cleaning service (removing the haze buildup) I had done looks great on one headlight, the other was partially done. Huge improvement though. They did vacuum my front floor mats, I didn't ask, which was sadly needed and a nice bonus! I strongly recommend this location and especially Travis! Thank you Travis! read more

Update on 12/30. It got worse. I received a call from a corporate person-very nice. Refunded me for the transmission fluid change and sent me a voucher for a free oil change in an effort to keep my business. So I went to a different jiffy lube in Tigard for an oil change on Sunday. Monday when I left my house there was a fresh puddle of oil under my car. I went back and a gentleman explained that there was a leak from the oil filter "probably a leaky gasket". This was a new filter I'm assuming. Ok, these things happen, no biggie. They replaced the filter and topped of the lost oil. Today, Tuesday, a second puddle of oil, identical pattern to yesterday's, is in my driveway. This is my third day in a row I've had to go to Jiffy Lube this week. They did not save my business, they made it worse. Customer service is great, it's the actual service that blows. If it leaks again I'm taking it to a real mechanic and sending JiffyLube the bill. read more
