I had gotten my car completely checked before I went to go the alignment done but he insists that it's because of my suspension. I was also told that he would have to charge me $50-60 more just to check if he did it right?? even so he said that he can't guarantee that my steering wheel is going to be straight. I would not recommend coming here for an alignment if you have a low car or car with suspension.

I expected professional service and a solution. Instead, I left with an even bigger problem -- now the wheel is crooked, and the car still pulls to the right. I returned to your shop and calmly explained that the problem remained. I told you that now, to keep the car straight, I have to hold the steering wheel slightly to the left, which is uncomfortable and unsafe. Instead of taking responsibility, I was told the job was "done correctly." But when I compared the numbers you set with the manufacturer's specs, the difference was obvious. You insisted the issue was in the suspension and the strut, but even if that were true, no alignment should leave the steering wheel crooked. Originally, the wheel was straight -- after your work, I ended up with two problems instead of one. To make it worse, you told me: "Let's put it on the rack again, and if everything shows green, you'll pay us again for nothing." That's not professionalism -- that's bluffing. I don't need "proof" on a screen. I need results. Instead of correcting the problem and setting the values as close as possible to the manufacturer's golden range, you behaved unpleasantly and arrogantly. My car is over ten years old, and I understand perfection isn't easy, but professionalism means both proper work and respect toward the customer. Sadly, I saw neither. The person who performed the service showed rudeness, disregard, and a complete unwillingness to listen. These qualities are unacceptable for someone entrusted with people's safety on the road. At another shop, they told me: "We can fix this." That proves the problem isn't my car -- the problem is the poor work and the attitude of the one who did it.

    Went in for flat tire repair. Told I needed to buy a new tire due to ruining the integrity of the…read moretire. Puzzled by this as there was unknown damage to interior of tire. Goodyear sent me to another location for second opinion. Informed that interior damage was in fact a manufacturer error but the flat repair was fouled up. Sutton tire employee when sticking plug created a second hole not even plugging original hole. Goodyear going to reimburse me for cost of tire. Returned to Suttons to buy tire and I informed the boss lady about the workers error and she proceeded to question why it took me a month to return. I stayed im on social security and work self employed and she turned around and basically called me a liar saying in a rude manner I can't work while on social security. I proceeded to say your ignorant if you think I can lt work on social security and she got so irate that she repeatedly stated don't call me ignorant in a hostile manner. Her worker that performed the work then butted in and ask what the problem was I explained and he proceeded to accuse me of yelling which I wasn't. And then started using profanity towards me and use every excuse he could to try and make his work valid. I had left my bank card on counter during this debate and as I was leaving boss lady said she needed the old tire and I said you don't need it she then flashed my bank card saying if you want your bank card back you'll give me the tire... at this point the intimidation factor was pretty far elevated with worker..boss lady and another man all surrounding my vehicle from front to back. They fouled up the tire made it out like it was my fault while trying to cover up there mistakes

I listened in as the attendant was working with the previous client, when it comes to a woman going into a maintenance shop there is that stigma with women and car shops. I'm always on alert when I'm at a car shop because mechanics have been known to overcharge women. When it was my turn I had said i was there for my appointment, but the massive American flag outside is what made me ask this question. I had asked if this was a locally owned shop which they agreed but I asked what their stance is on the climate of the country and they said they all have different stances. As a veteran who served this country I don't feel comfortable giving my money, my car or the belongings in my car to this shop. Or leaving my car unattended with them. I stated this, and this attendant started telling me about this and that. I don't care. I care about my community, and if my money is going to the right places. And I got my confirmation that it is not here.

    I have been going to Gary's for over a decade now and they always do good work for me. I've brought…read morethem some very strange issues that other shops were unable to diagnose and they've never failed me and have always been honest and gotten the job done right. I've had everything from small jobs (check engine lights, pulleys) to diagnosing and replacing the transfer case on my truck (they found me a great deal on a used transfer case that has been working great for almost 10 years!). I once had the pleasure of getting a ride back to the shop to pick up my car from the owner and he seems like a genuinely good person and seemed to really care about taking care of his employees and customers. This week, I called them because I was desperate to find someone to reseal a leaking window on my van. They talked through it with me, and since they aren't an autobody / glass shop they referred me to Big Rig Glass who did a fantastic job. They've referred me to other shops in the past for specialty work and it has always worked out great.

    If I could give 0 stars, I would!…read more I first went to Gary's to have my thermostat replaced back in May 2024. About a month ago, my car's engine began overheating again. Now thermostats are suppose to last around 10 years average, but the one I had installed was less than two years old. Since it was still under warranty, I took my car back to Gary's to have it looked at. They later told me that they ran some "heat test" and determined that the thermostat was fine, that the water pump was the problem. This was a LIE, as I had the water pump replaced last summer, it was practically still new! They had also LIED to me about the thermostat - which was indeed the problem. But they never actually inspected it. I had to have somebody else take out that cheap, faulty thermostat and replace it with a new better quality one. The one that Gary's put in was a cheap part that got a piece of plastic caught in it, preventing it from moving. It simply failed, YEARS before it otherwise should have. And Gary's would have known this, had they actually did a tear down and removed the part to inspect it. In other words, THEIR JOB. Instead, they lied to me and "recommended" I have my well-operating water pump replaced... which they would do for $839! So ultimately, I ended up having to pay a COMPETENT, trustworthy, non-thieving mechanic to fix Gary's f### up. Stir clear of this place, they are thieves who will put cheap defective parts in your vehicle! They will LIE right to your face and tell you that something else is the problem, when it isn't! This is EXACTLY the reason why people are soo wary of auto shops!
