Terrible service before, during, and after. After waiting an inordinate amount of time, they put regular oil in my car when I asked for synthetic. While rotating my tires, I observed the employee kicking my tires with all that he had. As I drove away, the stabilization sensor light went on, so I took the car back, They disengaged the battery, but that didn't fix the light. The employee said it was because tires wear differently, and the light should go off as I drove the car. When I took the car to a mechanic a few days later, he said Jiffy Lube didn't tighten the lug nuts, and I was very fortunate that the tire didn't fly off while I was driving. After many unanswered emails, the Jiffy Lube owner called. He did apologize, but said "these things happen." He offered me a discount the next time I came in, but I'm never going back. He told the National Jiffy Lube Customer Care Team that I was a "nice guy" and that I was satisfied. I am not satisfied. read more

I've been here a few times to have my oil and filter changed on my Volkswagen. It's hard to find a place that does German cars but this place does. Every time I come (usually weekdays so I can't speak to a Saturday) I never wait more than five minutes for my car to get in the garage and then it takes all of 20 minutes for the job to finish. The employees are always very pleasant and kind and treat every customer like an honored guest! read more

I wanted an oil change, randomly had some time available and searched for a nearby place to get it done and this Jiffy Lube was the closest. I turned up about 11:15 on a Tuesday morning and I was on my way by 11:30 - from the person who greeted me when I pulled up, to the cashier who checked me out to the gentleman that pulled my car around and closed the door for me after I got in, everyone was was professional, and courteous. There was no up-sell - not even the up-sell I am used to at other Jiffy Lube locations about cabin filters and other services - the only thing I was asked was if I wanted to replace the wipers, I joked they were already sitting in my back seat waiting for me to snap them on, they offered to put them on for me! At one point I looked over and noticed that after squeegeeing off my windshield, the mechanic came back in with a paper towel and caught the errant drops! It meant something to me seeing the care and attention they put into my car. The waiting area is clean and well kept, I was blown away by the fast service and the excellent service and courteous staff made a big impression. When I go to a Jiffy Lube all I am looking for is speed and a job done right - I got this and more and will make a point of returning to this location for my future needs. read more

I called to schedule an appointment to have an oil change on a Holiday weekend Saturday. I was informed that it was a first come first serve deal. That is great for me considering I live really close to this location. In a very short period of time, my car was taken care of, everything was explained in detail without any pressure and I was treated with care and respect. You now have my business. read more

Looking at my bill, I notice the miles were all wrong. By 50k.they didn't do half the stuff that was on it.. Ie vacuum- check wiper blades-but they did clean the windows. And all the dirty water, was left on my white car ,I had just washed. But they did say a 45 min wait, which wasn't a problem. But I was out of there under 30, and that was nice. I'd go back ONLY if I had too. read more

Do not take your vehicle here. They do NOT inspect all of the items on their checklist that they say they do, which puts YOU the customer in danger. When I confronted them about the issue they agreed they made a mistake and agreed to a refund - which they never made good on. read more

Very expensive. Dealership charges me $59.99 for a oil change and systems check. I was charged $108.95 for the same service, which I only did because I needed a oil change and I had time to kill while waiting for my daughter's music lesson to finish. Their service check list included things as complete that were definitely not done. Windows were not cleaned, tire pressure not adjusted,even though I was low in one tire and a crummy vacuum job all adds up to my never using them again. read more

These people took advantage of my daughter. All she wanted was a simple oil change, air filter and tire rotation. They advised her to have a transmission fluid change because the "manufacturer suggested it" Maybe at 100, 000 miles, certainly not at 35,000 miles! They never changed the air filter, and never did the tire rotation. They did whack her for $150 to change the trans fluid. I only hope that their daughters get the same royal screwing treatment my daughter got. Karma is a bitch, don't ever forget that you slime-bags! read more

Went in for an oil change this afternoon, and had a feeling this wasn't going to be an enjoyable 20 mins. My needs are rather simple when getting an oil change from one of these places. After i pulled my vehicle in and was directed to my seat in the waiting area, I was called up for the "Hard Sell" portion of the exchange. I was asked if I would like just an oil change like I had gotten last time I was there, I said yes, that's all i need. then here we go, I was informed the my "Fuel Filter" needed to be replaced. I had it replaced about 2 years ago, I asked why? I was informed that it was RUSTY and when it gets like that, it needs to be replaced. Hmmmm. I informed him that my filter was make of aluminum. How does aluminum rust? he told me he didn't know, it just needs to be replaced because its bad. Well that didn't happen. then I was told that the oil in my vehicle was so old that they had a hard time getting it out, so I need to get them to put a detergent in and clean my engine. Let me say, I change my Oil every 5K miles. When I change it myself 5k ago, I didn't remove the sticker they placed on my windshield last time I was there, so they thought I had 10 k on my oil. I asked him why it would be so hard to drain when the oil only had 5k miles on it. He then corrected me, and said it has 10k on it, he is a professional and I should take his advice and get it cleaned. LOLOL. Again that didn't happen. Nor did the service of vacuuming the vehicle or topping off the fluids. It seemed after I didn't take the hook on the up sell, they couldn't get me out of there fast enough. Moral of the story, if you don't mind a patronizing a business that will do anything to make a buck, flock here with your dollars, if you feel more comfortable with a business that works on your vehicle and cares about good service and repeat business, this my not be for you. It's not for me. To be fair, the first visit of only 2, was much better in the sense, during the up sell, the employee didn't treat me like my IQ was 30. I'm trying to be fair. read more

I have been going to this Jiffy Lube probably since it opened. I have always been pleased with the service that I receive. Always professional - fast and I can use the internet coupons!!. I have been to a few other jiffy lubes when I am traveling but I find that this Jiffy Lube compares favorably to the others I visit. Ilke that they have a record of all my visits and put that on the bill. I do not know anyone who works at the location. Thanks for the long term - excellent service! read more

Went to the Rockaway location on a Saturday morning for an oil and filter change and pulled right into the bay. I was out in 15 minutes. Great service. I only wish it was easier to go to the Jiffy Lube web site and print coupons, and would like to see more advertised specials. read more

Service is always quick and efficient, employees helpful and nice. The only complaint is the over priced selling of other products such as filters. They do show you the filter so you can determine if they need to be changed and they don't always need to be, they are basing it on recommendations which is ok. It's great for just an oil change. read more

Used to be a regular but I've had 2 separate experiences that made my decision not to go back. First I asked for wiper blades. They were happy to install, however, when it rained a few days later the driver side blade came loose and flipped on the side. I went back and they told me they would fix it and that my car is hard to find a blade that will work well (I drive a Ford). so they replaced the blade and the next day when it rained the blades hit each other and flipped both of them loose and dangling. I looked at the blades and they replaced the first blade with a completely different brand, a metal blade was the replacement with the rubber already installed so I had 2 different blades on my car! Despite this happening I went back again reluctantly about 6 months later only because I could not get in any other place in a timely manner for a simple oil change. When I brought the car in my tire pressure light was on, however expected them to take care of the problem since it is part of the standard service. when I left the light was still on and I asked about it. I was advised by the manager that the light will go off once I begin to drive it. That was a month ago and the light remained on. I went to another establishment who happily checked my tire pressure only to tell me that all 4 of my tires were low and were set to the improper tire pressure the last time. I should have learned my lesson the first time, but now will be sure not to return. read more
