With 9 locations in NJ and overall decent reviews, I I called before heading over to ensure they had the tire I needed. I spoke to JR who was super friendly and present. I drove over, checked in, dropped my keys off, and waited. He told me it would be about an hour (which turned out to be an accurate estimate). The good news is they said they were able to patch up the tire and I didn't need to buy a new one! I was surprised and relieved. They also ensured my wheels were balanced and that the rest of the tires had no issues. Overall, I had a positive experience here and would recommend their services. read more

Buyer Beware... as the old saying goes! The store manager was very nice, but he warned that scratches could happen putting new tires on my wheels. Derek the Assistant Manager told me to bring it in and they would take care of it by the end of the day. I was able to leave it overnight and he called me with it done at 8:00 am the next day. After having tire changed due to a flat I found the next day they left my spare in my trunk instead of putting it back under the car. I brought it back and they said they were surprised it was not put back. They attempt ed to put it back but after trying said something was broken and they wanted 300 dollars to fix it. I said I guess that's why you didn't put it back yesterday and sales manager said your triple A probably broke it not us. Why wasn't I told at the time? Won't being going there again. read more

Only after calling AAA to jump start my deader-than-dead battery did I find out that it is also not a common size (or readily available). Made calls to a number of local places ... none of which could install the needed battery for me, same day. The Interstate Battery distributor in Parsippany referred me to ETD Denville. Derek assured me they had the battery and that they would be able to install it ... just saying it may take awhile, as they had a number of other jobs in the shop and they were short-handed. So ... I made a 35-mile trip to Denville. On arrival, I was pleasantly checked in by Joe. There were several other customers waiting ... so I took a seat, expecting a long stay. But within minutes, a technician took my car in for service. Not only did I get the battery I needed ... Joe waived the installation fee ... and the service was super quick. Just had a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport All-Seasons put on a 2020 Tesla Model 3. The guys at this ETD did a fantastic job and were friendly, helpful, and communicative throughout - from advising on the right tires to get for local conditions and the driving I do, to getting them installed and tuning the alignment so there's no more vibration and the car drives beautifully smooth, to making sure I got the Michelin rebate info (filed for it in minutes!). That they're trained and equipped to work on Teslas and even have the adapter pucks for their lifts made it an easy, no-worry choice to come here. I had a leak in my tire that I was unable to patch myself. I messaged ETD through yelp fairly late after hours and Kevin, the owner, responded within the hour. He booked me first thing the following morning and I asked politely if they could work on a time constraint I had. The staff was very friendly, patched the tire quickly and I was out in less than an hour (while the staff had other appointments). Got into an accident a few days back and needed to get some damage checked out, the insurance company sent me to an auto body shop but they didn't cover everything for the estimate. After searching online, I decided on ETD due to all the great reviews. Called in and scheduled an appointment with Chris for the following day. When I got there, both him and Yaqub were extremely friendly and really knowledgeable. There were a few small things that Chris was able to fix for me on the spot, which was awesome. He explained everything to me about what needed to be repaired and wrote it all down on the estimate so I could send to the insurance company. Tires are largely a commodity these days - highly competitive marketplace and pricing is generally comparable between places. With that said, ETD is competitive price-wise but I would pay more for the level of service at this location. Chris, manager, just flat out cares. Personable, knowledgeable and makes you feel confident in his recommendations. Last year, I needed someone to look at a damaged tire and despite being busy, he examined it and gave me advice, free of charge. At the time, I didn't live in the area. Left my car overnight and was told that my car would be the first vehicle to be worked on as soon as they got the tires, turned out that my vehicle has barely been finished an hour before they close. Big time helpfull! Suffered a blowout on I-80 and limped it onto Route 46 to look for a repair spot. Stumbled upon ETD. PHEW! At this point I realized I had no cash and no card on me. Corporate rules for ETD mandate the guys on the desk could not take a card by phone so this meant my wife would have to drive over an hour to bring it, or cash, to me. Rather than all that they searched a pile of cheap-o tires to find something to get me mobile. All they asked was to throw them my biz in the future. No doubt! They were fantastic! They took us in right away and found a loose heat shield. Then they did not charge us nor would the mechanic accept a tip. Changed my tires. They do okay job loke other tire places out there. One thing makes me uncomfortable during my experience is their sales style. I was contacted by internet dept., two different guy over the phone, and two different guy over the counter. Which I had total five different contacts over my changing tires. They all trying to sell road hazard, which over $ 20 each tires. EveRy person there is keep asking I should do this road hazard program. Which will cost me extra 90 dollars. I was keep declining and they looked at me like cheap bitch. Hey, I just spent close to one thousand dollars and they dont stop there, they try to hussle another ninty dollar from me. Comon enough is enough. I dont k ow how much bebefit or portion each sales person gets by selling this program. They ate into it untill you walk out that garage door. Unhappy experience. read more

I LOVE this place! I have used them to replace tires on my previous and current car and it's been worth the money and time, especially being able to purchase road hazard warranty on my tires. I have had not one, not two, not three but FOUR flat tires in less than a six month period (talk about luck, right?) and each time, I was able to come in and not only have my tires replaced with new ones (only paid for mounting, disposal, and labor, which is a nominal fee) but have friendly, quick, and efficient service. They're always kind, helpful, and willing to explain anything you don't understand; it doesn't get any better than the staff here. I thought I had received great service until recently. Only a few weeks since I received an oil change from their employees, did the left side of the hood of my car start smoking. I discovered that the oil cap was left loose after my car was serviced causing oil spillage throughout the hood of my car resulting in the need of my radiator being serviced. My engine could've easily overheated mid-drive. In the future, I hope that their employees check behind their work before sending their car back to its owner as this situation could've ended very badly, possibly inducing a fire. Purchased 4 new tires on a Friday for a leased vehicle and did not buy the extra tire warranty. On Sunday afternoon, I had a flat tire. Only put 13 miles on the car since Friday. It was a "puncture", and supposedly not covered. And since I did not buy the warranty, I had to pay for a new tire. Needless to say I was very unhappy! I stopped in without an appointment, on my way to work and it was starting to snow. When I explained my schedule and concerns about driving on a donut spare while snowing(especially with my child in the car) the guys at ETD Denville went above and beyond to make sure I made it to work on time, safely AND they even rushed to get a replacement for a failing lug nut. First time we went here, they were incredible! They quoted us for a tire cheaper than anyone else around. This time around, we called them for a quote on 2 tires and brakes. They said $300 something. My fiancé goes in to pick up the car and out of nowhere it's $500! They COMPLETELY screwed us for $200 and said that they NEVER said that it would be $300. I recently had my two cars serviced at ETD Denville. This past Spring Chris, the manager, spent a lot of time trading e-mails with me regarding specific tires I should get for one of the cars. When I stopped by he advised me that I had enough treadware left to continue using the old tires till Fall. A few days ago I made the purchase of the new tires and he was able to get me a substantial credit for the old tires (more than I expected). The tire installation went very smoothly. Chris also gave me a readout on my battery condition and said I might keep it a while longer (but I decided to get a new one). The fact that Chris advised I had more time for my tires and for my battery really indicated that they run an honest shop here. To top it off my other car had a failed inspection problem. I got a quote from ETD for a fix but it seemed the problem cleared itself out and Chris recommeded I just go back to reinpection without the recommened fix. The car passed. Another honest recommendation. In summary Chris and his staff are really knowledgeable on cars, will take the time to explain everythig thoroughly, and best of all have a lot of integrity. Came in as a result of my awesome driving abilities (sarcastic) when I drove over a curb. Had 1 flat tired. I called ETD, and they were able to order a tire identical to the opposite side (which had just gotten replaced a few months ago). They found issues with 2 of the other tires (bubble in 1, screw in another), and I selected what services I wanted, no pressure (no tire pun intended?). Just had my oil changed. Store manager (Art) and mechanic (Bill) brought me in to garage. I thought they were going to try and upswell some other things. Instead, they showed me that I have a water pump leak. I told them I would bring it to dealer since car is still under warranty. They suggested that I have the timing belt done early as it would save me labor costs since timing belt has to be removed anyway in order to replace the pump. As with several reviewers, it was fate that brought me here. After I had arrived at an appointment in Parsippany around noon, I came out of the business to find my right rear tire totally flat, likely due to the debris flying out of a dump truck ahead of me on Route 80 as I was heading to my destination, but that's neither here nor there. Bottom line was my spare was about as old as the car (a 2001 Corolla), so there was no way I could drive it. AAA got there quickly, and the tow truck driver tried to put air into the tire to get me to a nearby place, but the tire was shot and it went back to being flat in about 30 seconds. He towed me to ETD, a short drive away. "These guys are great," the driver said while he unloaded my car and I went inside to explain my calamity. The manager was courteous, a garage bay was open and they took me right in. I've been snowballed at other so-called "discount" tire places before, but they quoted me a competitive price. The free alignment revealed perfect front end placement (I'd just had it done about two months ago), but the rear tires were cupping and in need of adjusting. Unfortunately I couldn't stay to have it done, but he quickly proffered a $20 coupon, which I'll use in the coming days. Now, it could have been that it was early afternoon on a weekday, so I'll call to make an appointment over the weekend, but a clean place, nice people and quick in-and-out service made this nightmare more than bearable for my patience and my wallet.
