I had called the "local" number and spoke to a man about a state inspection for my truck. He told me (at 10:30 AM) that his inspection guy was there till 12. I said I could be there in 15 to 20 minutes. would that be OK. He said yes, and there was currently a 20 minute wait. I asked him if he was actually at the location, because it sounded like a call center. He said yes this is the Maple Avenue location. He was lying and I wasted my time going there because when I arrived, I was told there was no one available that day to do inspections, and they had not received any calls yet that day. Thank God I didn't drive a half hour to get there, and was able to go to Jiffy Lube to get my inspection. I will never use Valvoline again.

I thought that my regular tires were pretty worn out and assumed that I would need a whole new set after I took off my "snowies". They said that my tires were in good condition and that I wouldn't need new ones right away. It would have been very easy for them to tell me that my tires were a mess so they could upsell me. They didn't do that. Clearly, this is an honest business with hard workers. The manager is very engaged and interested in making sure that customers are happy. I did not expect to have such a positive experience getting new tires. I will return in the future.

They were amazing…read more While traveling from out of state, it became clear one of my rear brake rotors was in bad shape. It turns out one of the pads slipped and was grinding the rotor. My car - and by extension, me, lol - were "up **** creek without a paddle." These guys came through. They took me in on a Saturday morning, during the peak of track season with Phish playing at SPAC that night, meaning they already had a "full plate," so to speak. They worked me in with minimal delay. More importantly, the work done was excellent, and they were very courteous and professional. I'm impressed and grateful. Again, I'm out of state, so not likely to return to them, but I highly recommend them to others based on my experience.

I made an appointment to buy Kuhmo All Terrain Tires for my Dodge Ram. The appointment was set for Aug 17th. I called the morning of Aug 17th to see what time I should bring my truck in. I was told on the phone that they did not see an appointment for me. I was taken aback because I recall the full conversation. I was given a price and everything including a Military Veterans discount. I took time off from work to prepare for that. I let it go. So, Wednesday was my day off. I drove in Wednesday morning at 9:15am and told the SAME guy who I'd spoke to on the 10th, "Hey, you never put my appointment in the system!" He checked and didn't see it. He tells me, he's sorry. He's had a few rough days but he could definitely get me in today. My wife takes time away from work to pick me up. I leave my truck. He said someone would call when it was done. 4:30pm comes, no call. I drive in and I see my truck sitting there with no tire change. I go inside and ask the guy at the desk. What's up?? You haven't touched my car. He was clueless. Didn't even realize I had a truck there. And now my wife has to take time out to drop me off AGAIN to pick up a truck that was never worked on. The guy who twice made promises was not there. I was prepared to give them $1200 of my hard earned money, and no one cares. I was told, "we only have two people working. Perhaps they can get away with that because they participate in the Price Chopper program.
