I understand , " up-selling" but for things that it's clear have already been done, not cool. Then, when it was clear that didn't work came the ," recommendations" ..... It feels like if they could they'd try to sell you a new car : - ((( Im not sure how others feel. But this kind of thing is why I dread going to these places. I drive a wonderful older vehicle & had put off having my headlights cleaned for some time. Also in need of an oil change with time on my hands, decided on both services. Coupons help... So I pulled in on what was again a hot day in July. The actual oil change, along with headlight cleaning appear to have been done okay Again, being such a hot & humid day they may have just forgotten to vacuum the inside of my car? I don't know... But it certainly needs it. The same thing with the windows? They were also neglected. The truth is that I didn't realize it until I was already home.... Not really something I would drive back for. When it's time for another oil change - would I return to this location? Even though they played the up- selling game & were remiss in vacuuming, cleaning my windows I will give them another try. read more

Been paying $15 over the normal inspection price for two years. Always trying to hunt down the only mechanic they have between the Seabrook and Hampton location. Very nice staff but somethings fishy with the pricing. Shouldn't cost $50 for a NH state inspection sticker. They we're great for convenience but not transparent with costs read more

I just paid $117.99 for an oil change. My receipt says they vacuum, window washed none of that was done. I only requested an oil change. Paid for services that was not performed. And attitude of technician was terrible. read more

I took my vehicle in for an oil change. The tech first says it needs an air filter. I tell him it was changed about 6 months ago. He pulls up my previous history..... sees it was them that changed it, then he changes direction and says it was just a recommendation. A short time later, he says he needs to top off my anti-freeze. He states it is low. I said don't you top off all fluids for free? He says not anti-freeze, which is a $5 cost. I told him I had anti-freeze in the trunk. ( i get the eye roll from him) i watch him finish up, but never touch my anti-freeze. I questioned him and he said when he checked the fluid level the first time, he didn't use his flashlight ( mind you he never pulled his flash light out a second time). All of a sudden the fluid level was fine. A miracle! I hope trying to rip someone off over $5 was worth losing a customer! read more

EXTREMELY CREEPY EXPERIENCE - WOMEN BEWARE!!! I had my oil changed here, I have no issues with the oil change. The problem I had is that when I was told my vehicle was ready, I asked the bearded employee if he was pulling my vehicle out, he said he'd "guide" me out of the service bay, this did not happen. Why? Well there were two employees, one heavy set bearded and another with no facial hair and arm tattoos. As I walked from the waiting room to my vehicle, I noticed the employee with no facial hair had his cell phone out, horizontal and pointed at me from the moment I walked from the waiting room, by him in the bay, all the way to me being in my vehicle and him standing at my front bumper pointing the cell phone at me through the windshield. I asked both employees what they weee doing, they said they were filming me and taking pictures on the employee without facial hairs personal cell phone. I asked why, the heavy set employee with a beard told me that the employee without facial hair has "OCD" and he does this all the time. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS FACILITY AND I WOULD CAUTION ALL WOMEN, STAY AWAY FROM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BECOME PART OF THE EMPLOYEES PERSONAL VIDEO COLLECTION. Ps... on my invoice, almost $100 for an oil change by the way, these two creepy employees listed that I declined all sorts of routine items such as cleaning windows and vacuuming my vehicle, I declined nothing other than asking them not to film me nor take pictures of me! read more

I have been to this location for every oil change in multiple vehicles over the years. I came upon it out of necessity the first time - just really needed an oil change. I was pleasantly surprised by each service person I interacted with fromt the start and the manager. They are kind, genuinely nice, efficient, and take great care of my vehicle each time I've been back (8-9 visits). As a mom, I've had my kids with me a few times inevitably asleep and the service guys offerred to allow me to stay in the car with them so as not to have any need to wake them. They made efforts to even take care to be as quiet as possible! Completely unexpected and over the top for a corporate automotive center. I leave each time feeling like they have gone above and beyond. This keeps me returning every time my car needs an oil change. Highly recommend and endorse this location. read more

It's rare that customers get treated so kind and courteous, like a forgotten art. But not here. Brought my Tacoma in for an oil change in May. While I was paying, the manager told me he would be giving me a discount because he caught his trainee filling my engine with radiator fluid. He promised me he had flushed the engine several times to ensure no damage happened. As he's explaining this, I watch as the same trainee stalls my truck out 4 separate times attempting to pull it out of the bay. Eventually the next higher-up employee jumps in and pulls it out and parks it outside the bay. As I'm paying the bill, the manager abruptly calls out "Catch it! Catch it!" I turn around and watch as my truck is rolling down the hill in front of the store. It thankfully was stopped by their sign before it had a chance to roll on to Rt. 1, where it could have been totaled, or worse, caused a serious accident. The bumper was pushed up in to the engine by the impact, and thankfully due to a custom steel bar I had replaced the stock bumper with, no damage was done to the engine itself. The employees were the most apologetic, friendly, and accommodating, going so far as to even give me their personal contact information. My hangup is with the process following this incident. My insurance is STILL trying to get in contact with the District Manager to reclaim the money for the damages. After repeated calls and emails I have not received a response either. Overall, I understand the employees just work there, and the employees at this specific location are exceptional. Jiffy Lube, as a corporation, is apparently run by people who abhor transparency, and try their hardest to deny/ignore responsibility in order to maintain whatever profit margin they can. We'll see what the future holds, but I have no evidence to support that an effort will be made to resolve the issue. read more

I've been here several times to get my oil changed. Always seems like a very rushed process. At the point of checkout the desk worker always runs through a list of additional services at such a fast rate trying to up sell things. Even after asking them to slow down so that I can understand what they are saying, they don't. The workers never seem pleasant and don't seem like they care. I have switched to using the Midas down the street and have had nothing but positive experiences there. read more

After an oil change I was missing several fasteners. But that was not the worst of it. The oil pressure warning light started coming on. Went by the location and they said I had oil leaking from everywhere and added oil. Light was still coming on. Took it to an Audi repair shop and they found what appeared to be transmission fluid in my oil. All I can say is, never again! read more

A friend of mine went into Jiffy Lube in Seabrook today to get his 2015 Mercedes inspected. After waiting over an hour they failed him for his front tires not having enough tread. They proceeded to tell him that he could not replace just one tire he would have to replace all four because of his four wheel drive which is a lie. They said to him oh make sure you don't get them from the place across the street they are way to expensive, which is either Town Fair Tire or NTB. Then Quoted him $1000. Jiffy Lube totally took advantage of my friend knowing he doesn't have much knowledge when it comes to cars. The mechanic should be ashamed of himself. How dare you try and rip a customer off. Oh and to boot they took his $40. I will be telling everyone I know to never go there again. YOU GUYS ARE WORST!!!!!!! read more

This was the worst Jiffy Lube experience I have had. First, they convinced me to have them use an expensive synthetic oil on my car, when I later learned that the regular version would have been totally fine. Then, I noticed that they had been courteously opening the door for customers as they left, and they did not open the door for me. WTF? Meanwhile, they were all sitting around in the back of the shop. Lastly, I paid for the "signature service" which is supposed to include a tire pressure check. The "check tire pressure" light was still on in my car, so they obviously did not check it. I will not be using them again! read more

Today, I had my oil changed by a mechanic in Exeter, and he brought the filter out to me and said someone didn't do their job. My filter was so rotten, it looked like muddy paper breaking apart. Chunks of that could be going into my engine. It was very clear that my filter had not been changed, and this had long-term damage for my car. I saw this Jiffy Lube in Seabrook, NH in November 2019 for an oil and filter change, which ran about $100 because of "special synthetic oil that lasts longer." (knew that was BS but I was in a hurry). I just called them to check that this was an oil and filter change, and they confirmed that it was. I told them that this had happened, and Nick said it was "normal wear and tear" from "road salt" that can occur. I said no - this was very clear that someone had not done their job when I was there a year ago. He tried to say another mechanic I must have visited did it - and I said no - you were the last mechanic who did an oil change. And so then Nick said, "Don't worry about it - I cleaned house and fired a lot of the employees and managers there who hadn't been doing a good job." Um, what? "I'm so sorry, my dear - next time you're here, I'll take care of you." No refund offered for work never done. And I will never go back there. You should have done your job the first time I was there. Thanks for overcharging me for not doing your job, and then lying about it. Thanks for damaging my car's long-term performance. And thanks for no refund. Do not go to this Jiffy Lube - they are dishonest cheats. Shame on you. read more

Brought my Nissan SUV in yesterday to get a state inspection. They not only found a huge problem with one of my front brake calipers but were able to replace the caliper within an hour or so, and did so at what I view as an amazingly low cost to me. Drove up to Seabrook from Newburyport for an oil change. I usually go to the Prompto Oil change next door but there were several cars in line so I decided to try Jiffy Lube. I pulled up and a man greeted me and asked me if I had been there before to which I said no, I hadn't. He asked me if I knew the prices and again I said that I did not. I told him I just wanted a regular oil change and he told me it would be $79.99. Confused, I asked "$79.99 for a regular oil change", he said yes. In disbelief I confirmed again, and said that I just wanted a conventional oil change, he said "uhh...that's $36.99" to which I said "Thanks, I'll try somewhere else". Not honest people here. Prompto Oil Change is just down the street a few buildings, they're always pleasant and have never tried any of that kind of upselling/dishonest selling tactics. read more

Horrible service. Wish I had saved myself the significant headache of dealing with this place. I came for an inspection and the inspector failed me for reasons that both my trusted mechanic and a second-opinion mechanic said were completely ridiculous, but my mechanic addressed the issues nonetheless. When I returned to Seabrook Jiffy Lube for reinspection, one week later, I was informed that the person who originally inspected my car left the company and that they would need to complete an entirely new inspection, which would take a full 45 minutes -- rather than just checking the items that had previously failed inspection. Upon this new inspection, the mechanic failed me for issues that the previous inspector did not flag during my first inspection (and thus I did not know to address those issues in advance of the reinspection). I am extremely dissatisfied with this poor service, which caused me to waste significant time and money. I later heard the this location is on state probation for their poor inspection practices. I wish I had read the other Yelp reviews of this place before coming. Save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else. read more

I actually went to the N. Hampton location. I have sworn off J.L. several times because of their high pressure sales. Recently I went in because I needed an oil change and was in a rush. I have a newer car and every time I have gone in there they want to perform the scheduled services, change my (clean) air filter or flush my coolant. I just want an oil change. When I want other services I will go to my mechanic.....not Jiffy Lube! When I decline they act like my car is going to explode if I buy the add on services. I also have had to go back because services they checked off their list were not done. ie. did not vacuum, did not fill my washer, etc. All done for good with Jiffy Lube. read more

Friendly and very courteus crew helped me get in and out quickly. I had been there before, so they had my car's record - I thought I might have reached the mileage for a transmission fluid change. They checked, and told me I am not due for another 20,000 miles. Many places would've just sold me the service without telling me the truth. So glad this crew was honest! I will be back. read more

Never go to a Jiffy Lube. Went for oil change and decided to have AC checked/filled. Paid additional to have AC system inspected and 3 weeks after service the AC blew nothing but hot air. I have never written a review but I feel compelled to share a very bad experience at Jiffy Lube in Seabrook, NH. I recently moved to NH and realized that I needed an inspection sticker on the 2nd to last day of the month. I was so happy to see that they stayed open late! They took me right in. Imagine my surprise when they rejected my car due to failed brakes and windshield wipers. Wipers..ok...maybe. Brakes? No way! 32,000 miles and zero indication of problem. As a maturish woman, I know when I'm being taken...not my first rodeo. When I asked if they replace brakes, the gentleman assured me they did. I requested a rejection sticker, paid the inflated fee...he told me they're allowed to charge more...and left. Spent the next morning at a Nissan dealership. They checked my car...front to back...and found my brakes to be 100% fine. Of course they were. However, once someone rejects a car in the online system, it takes a little work to correct it. I lost a morning of work, overpaid for the inspection, and realized that there are still people out there who take advantage of women/strangers. Beware. read more

I take in my perfectly operating car, they crack the air intake valve while reaching down to get at the filter, things happen, I understand. They acknowledge that they did it, I go back once, they say they fixed it, they did nothing, same issue. I again go back and am still Mr Nice Guy "I understand things happen." They take down the info on the part and order it, will call when it comes in and replace it. The Manager Neil looks at me like I have 2 heads when I inquire on if he'd be willing to refund the price of the oil change. I decide to again stay Mr Nice Guy and back down immediately to pursue after they fix it. All of this I file under everyone's human, I mess up too, as long as they fix it I'm OK. Here's where it gets unacceptable. I ask that the check engine light be turned off. I get back in the car and it's still on, I turn around and go back. Neil inquires "what now?" while shaking his head and puffing like I'm the pain in the butt. I've spent 3 hours there now for an oil change and broke down due to them, and he's acting like I'm the problem. DO NOT GO HERE, Pronto right down the street is much better, go there. read more
