I was a long time tire/alignment customer (2 pickup trucks and a car) at Sullivan Tire in Hudson NH. I was relatively happy with the service .....so I thought, until I found out they were not being honest about rotating my tires. I marked them and they never rotated them (happened twice). The manager lied to my face. Third time they rotated them. They offer a shuttle service and I work a few miles away on the same street. I booked the shuttle and my early AM appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Brought my car there and the shuttle van wasn't there. No big deal I was there 15+ minutes early. After about a 1/2 hour the van still wasn't there. my appointment was 1/2 hour into the appointment and they still hadn't started the car. Normally I would leave it for the day. After nearly an hour (the car should have been done at this point!) I asked for the keys and left. After the manager lying about rotating the tires (twice) this was the last straw. I did the research and found that yes, Jeep Renegades do not have great suspension and Sullivan Tire was absolutely correct that mine needed to be replaced. They did the work on my schedule, quickly, and I have to say honestly priced. My car now drives like a brand new car, smooth and lovely, at the fraction of the cost of a new car! Brought my girlfriends Acura here to get new tires put on, got a good deal. We often come to seabrook to shop. On our latest trip the alternator went out while driving, after being able to get the car over to Sullivan tire we had them replace it. They gave us different option based on cost and all the options were as I would expect and fair from being in the industry myself. This incident happened on a Saturday, They called me at noon Monday when the parts warehouse opened to give me final price so I could give them the go ahead to order the part and do the work. To my surprise less than 5 hours later they called me and told me they got the part and the car was fixed and ready for pickup. I was expecting to not have the vehicle for possibly a week. They got us out of a very sticky situation. Will be taking my girlfriend and my vehicle there for maintenance needs from now on. read more

I do all my tire work and state inspections here. They have a great crew. Recently I bought in a new used Mercedes E450 for an inspection. I mentioned to Ben (the inspector) that I was getting more white smoke out of the right bank exhaust than the Left bank. I thought I had a head gasket leak on the right cylinder bank. I was seriously thinking about having the vehicle towed back to the dealer right after the inspection. I had bought it just 2 days prior. Ben listened to what I said and when the car was up on the lift, he called me over to view the exhaust and showed me that the left bank exhaust pipe had a flapper valve that was closed on startup so naturally I would see more white smoke on startup coming out of the right side This was something I was totally unaware of. On further testing, there was no issue with the head gasket. Bottom line Ben saved me from a rash decision and having to tow the car. read more

Brought my jeep in for tires today. On the lead up to the appointment, they had to reschedule, so there was a lot of back and forth. Not great, but fine. When the car was in the shop, getting the tires, they called me and want to flush and replace every fluid in the vehicle from the brakes to the coolant, for a coooool $900+ on top of the cost of the tires. I asked the guy, "why do you think we need to do that" and he said "based on the mileage". I had just had all of the fluids check during and oil change in July and had the car completely gone through at the dealership in August. Every safety point, every fluid, every belt. So I said no thanks. (But what a scam!) I asked the guy at the counter to print out what they think I needed to have done with a price next to it, so that I could go back through all of the previous paperwork and make sure that I wasn't missing anything. I got 2 pages of pictures of my tires with - change brake fluid noted next to each picture. No other information. Not helpful and also Then when we picked up the car, we had a price match that would have saved us over $100 and they refused to honor it. Not impressed at all. My tires look good, but this overall is not a good experience and also as a woman I feel like they were trying to take advantage of me. Sullivan has competitive pricing and provides good service. On my recent purchase I asked for a state inspection also. They identified 2 legitimate issues that I need to take care of. They recommended options where the problems could be addressed since they did not provide those particular repair services at this location. I was fairly treated. The only other thing I want to say as a caution for others. I went too long between tire rotations and didn't get the mileage I expected from my previous set of tires purchased here. When I did previous rotations I would have appreciated having the tire alignment checked also. This is available for free but you need to ask for it. I don't recall anyone reminding to have alignment checked along with the rotation. So, I recommend you ask for it when you schedule your normal 6 month rotations. read more

I had an appointment and they took my car in right away. I had a state inspection, oil change, tire rotation and cabin filter changed. They completed the work well within a reasonable time. They left the window clean from the state inspection sticker removal. The front desk was very courteous and the waiting area was clean. I dropped my 2008 Honda Accord in for tires and shocks at Sullivan Tire Seabrook. I received a call a short while later from Sullivan Tire. The sales person informed me the technician is recommending changing the serpentine belt as it was worn and cracking. This was quite upsetting because the serpentine belt had been changed recently and had only 26,000 miles on it and it is an expensive repair. I explained this to the sales person and he told me if the belt had been subjected to high heat then it breaks down faster. He added if the belt fails it can cause permanent engine failure. I am a senior and on a fixed income. I was upset and felt pressured to authorize the expensive repair for fear my car would suffer irreparable damage if I said no. I called the service manager at the Honda dealer that changed the belt, I was informed the belt should be fine and typically last 80 - 100 thousand miles. I went to Sullivan Tire and spoke directly to the sales person. As it turns out the belt was not cracked and he apologized for telling me that. The technician reported it was discolored and because the car has high mileage he assumed it needed replacement. I purchased the new tires and new front shocks at a cost of $1,537.00. On the drive home from Seabrook to Hampton, the car was making loud clanging noises from the front right side. I called Sullivan Tire and they asked me to bring the car back. I asked if I may bring it back the next day as it was late on a Friday afternoon. The sales person said it's best if I bring it now as the technician is still in the shop. So I drove back to Seabrook. The car was checked and I was told something in the new shock failed. The part had to be ordered and I would have to bring the car back again tomorrow. Saturday morning I made my fourth trip out to Sullivan Tire to have the new failed part replaced. I am deeply disappointed in the service from Sullivan Tire. I felt the sales person was up selling a senior. read more

He is 100% customer service and always is very helpful and honest, I have never seen him in a bad mood at all which is rare these days while having to work with the public lol. I don't even know where to start........ Sullivan tire has done so much for me and my husband. He has stage 4 cancer and my husband went in asking for help. Josh went out of his way to help him. He was so kind to him that it actually made us cry. I immediately went on line to let everyone know how great this company is and how they take care of their customers!!! There are many places for us to go and have our automobile work done but we swear by Sullivan tire. I would recommend the Seabrook NH store to anyone in New England. It is worth the trip. read more

Made an appointment to have an inspection done on my car got to my appointment five minutes early they were supposed to take my car in at noon they didn't end up taking it in the bay until maybe 20 or 30 past then after sitting around and waiting for them to take my car in about a half hour after that I was told that I had excess friction on my calipers/brakes and it failed safety inspection and would need to have both back calipers and brakes replaced and it would cost me $814. Mind you no lights have turned on in my car saying that I was having brake issues and the car has been driving perfectly fine. I ended up bringing it to another mechanic for a second opinion and he said while I will be due for brake pads in the next couple months he saw nothing implying I would need my brakes or calipers replaced. So Sullivan tire charged me $45 to inspect my car told me that I failed inspection when in fact my car was fine and all they had to do is put a sticker on it but try to scam me out of $814. Hope they feel good about what they're doing over there there! read more

Don't Waste Your Time! They are incompetent. I called to order tires twice and was told by Josh that he would call me back in 10 minutes after he took all my information. He never called back, so I went in to the store and ordered the tires. When I arrived at my appointment to have my new tires installed, I waited over an hour for someone to start the installation and inform me that I had ordered the wrong tires. I provided them with my vehicle and they pulled up the sizes and ordered the tires, so I am not sure how "I" ordered the wrong tire sizes. The manager ordered the right tire sizes and scheduled another appointment for me to come in after verifying the correct sizes and car. When I arrived for the second appointment, I found out that they ordered the wrong tires AGAIN. This time, they even ordered the wrong brand. Don't waste your time (literally) with them. They never apologized or even took responsibility for the issues. Just acted smug and said they could try again if I wanted. Given the number of tire places in the area, I am amazed that they are still in business. read more

I had a great experience with Sullivan Tire. I called ahead and made an appointment for 4 new tires and an oil change on my Jetta. The gentleman on the phone was very helpful in assisting me in choosing new tires, especially when discussing my price point. Unfortunately the tires I was quoted for over the phone were the wrong size for my vehicle once I got there, but Sullivan was able to offer me a comparable tire of the same brand for just a little more. They were very upfront about pricing, and I really like that they perform a 29-point vehicle inspection (you'd be surprised at how many places don't do this). They performed the services on my car in a timely manner, about an hour and a half, which was fine because they have a clean and comfortable waiting area. Lastly, my TPMS went off just as I was pulling out -- one of the guys came out, checked my car, and showed me how to manually turn of the TPMS light after he made sure all was well and good. He was a Volkswagen guy, which was a comfort to me! All in all it was a great experience and I will definitely return in the future. read more

Not helpful to me. I went in on Saturday at 9. They had appointments-ok. I schedule an appointment for 1pm. To look at 1 tire for a slow leak. Tires were all replaced 1 year ago. They did not get to my car for a half hour. Then wanted to charge 300 to replace two tires for "dry rot". If you don't mind being overcharged and have unnecessary work done on your car use them. I would recommend you go anywhere else. It really is hard to find an honest auto repair site. read more

Sullivan tire Seabrook, NH. I purchased two tires last July and only put 2,000 mile on the car. Then after the winter I have a slow leak and they will not cover it, they said I didn't purchase their warranty so there is nothing they will do. Then when I question their warranty I was called an ASShole. This is the worst customer service I have ever had and will never do business with them again. The manager tried to tell me the rims are the issues, funny that was never mentioned when they installed the tires last year. read more

Another bad experience at Sullivan Tire in Seabrook. The place will come up with 1,000 ideas to rip you off. Every time I've been in there some sort of pricing problem has happened all in their favor. I've been going to Sullivan Tire in Seabrook for a number of years now. I go in the fall to have my snow tire put on and I go back in the spring to have the radials put on. Today I get my bill and it's much, much higher than normal so I ask what the deal is. I'm told that they increased the price for tire changeovers from $100 to $130. It still seemed like a lot to me. So I ask the guy how much I paid in the past and he says $100. My service history is right there. I get home and check my past invoices. I always paid $50. So they change the price from $50 to $130, don't tell me and lie to my face in the process. I wish I remembered what happened last time I was there so I would have known better than to give them another chance to rip me off. read more

Instead of being grouchy about working that day, the guys were all pleasant and helpful. They had a General Tire product in the size I needed in stock, at a great price, so I bought 4. Merry Christmas to my friend for loaning me the SUV. I was in and out of there in one hour! Merry Christmas to me! I've been a Sullivan customer for decades, and this is why! P.S. Gregg Zola is a standup guy. Honest and very helpful. I orig. wanted tire balance. Found I had 4 slightly bent rims causing vibration on the highway. They fixed the rims, rebalanced. Car still vibrated. They found a bad rear rotor & replaced it. car drives great. They're not the cheapest, but they know what they're doing and they took care of me. read more

been going here for tires since moving to NH in 2012, needed a truck inspection, called Foss Motors where I leased my truck only to be told by service that they were booked on Friday and Saturday, no offer to squeeze me in for a simple inspection on a truck with 13K miles, nope we're booked, OK when the lease runs out in a year I will look elsewhere, back to Sullivan Tire, called on Friday made appointment for Sat at 11 am, dropped off truck went next door to Two Guys and bought a cigar sat outside enjoyed early Sprig weather and by time I was ready so wasn't my truck. Well I had them put 4 new tires on my Audi A6 which was fine. Turned out I also needed 4 new sensors for the tires at $85+ a pop. 10 minutes into the drive home, the tire pressure warning system went on....soooo I turned around and went back. The "reset it again" OK fine no problem. I left, sure enough same problem. I returned 4 TIMES each time I was assured it was fixed and that the new sensors were NOT the problem. Took it to the dealer, yep the sensors Sullivan tire used are the problem! I'm out over $350 and still have the issue. I'll NEVER recommend Sullivan Tire to anyone. Quite the opposite.! read more
