I also saw coffee and drinks, though I was literally inside for 5 minutes so didn't use anything. For longer waits, it's a nice touch. The guys in the office were very nice and service was quick and easy. Nice enough for me to want to bring my car for oil change here. When I asked the guy who was doing the emission test how much they charged for an oil change, he told me he wasn't 100%sure, but something like $115. That seems a bit high for me.

We brought our jeep here with the assumption it was the starter because it wouldn't turn over. They replaced the starter without running diagnostics. The first starter made the car shake so they replaced it again before we picked it up. Cool, love that they took action. After 2 replaced starters, we paid over 1k and pick up the Jeep. A day after we picked it up, the car wouldn't start again. They asked us to tow it back to them to check it out. WE paid to get it towed back to their shop. They said they need to run diagnostics, which would cost $180 to figure out what was wrong. We refused to pay that because they should have done that from the beginning. They ran the diagnostics and determined it needed another starter and replaced the it for the 3rd time. They did up not charge us for the diagnostics that they should have done at the start. We drove it for a day and then it wouldn't turn over AGAIN! We decided to bring it to a different mechanic because after 3 replaced starters, A+ Auto must be incompetent. The starter was replaced a 4th time along with some other issues being fixed that were never diagnosed by A+ Auto. They blame us because there were other things wrong. When you bring your vehicle into a shop you are trusting that they give you reasons why the vehicle is not working. If by the 3rd fixed attempt, it continues to not work, how can we trust this shop knows what they are doing? Now comes the customer service part...I contacted the owner Chris at the beginning of June. I called 3x and left messages. His staff, Brandon, called and left me a message on 6/16/26, saying he gave Chris the message but he was busy and would call me asap. During this time Chris spoke with our new mechanic who told him he replaced the starter a 4th time and found other issues. So now 7/7/26 rolls around and I call again hoping to talk with Chris and make this situation right for the work they were not successful at. I spoke with Brandon and said I want to speak with Chris by the end of the next business day or I will be writing reviews on my experience with them. Surprise, surprise! Chris calls me the next day (7/8/26). He apologized for his delay in calling me stating he lost the post it note (it is only a month later...). He talked in circles on how his shop replaced my starter 3x and it is not their fault that it continues to not work. It was our fault that we wouldn't let them do diagnostics...but we did. He said he trusted our word that it was the starter and that is what they fixed. He said after the 2nd failed starter, they offered us diagnostics but we refused. No! We wanted diagnostics but didn't want to pay for something that should have been done from the start. Little did he remember, they did run diagnostics after the 2nd failed starter (see attached receipt). This shop takes no accountability for their poor work. They charged us for work they failed to fix. Instead of working something out with me, the owner accused me of talking over him when I was just sick of him talking in circles. I understand parts can malfunction but 3 times within 2 weeks?! This isn't a part problem...This is a shop problem. This is an owner problem. This is a mechanic problem. So over 1k later in parts & mechanic fees and over $400 in multiple tow fees, we brought it else where. Thank you A+ Auto for your failure to be competent mechanics. Additionally, this business honors military service members with a 10% discount. As an Air Force retiree, that was a pleasant bonus! I met the mechanic who worked on my vehicle and as a female, I appreciate having a female mechanic work on my vehicle! Seriously, fed up of male mechanics creating and/ or exaggerating non-issues concerning my vehicle. (Referring to Zeigler Toyota Mt Pleasant - rip off). My mechanic, Liz, professionally identified 2 issues I knew need addressing. I didn't get a laundry list of "issues" ... just what was critical. My vehicle runs smooth again thanks to Liz's expert work. Integrity is essential. This place has it!!! I went in and Greg was the man who helped me out by doing what I needed along with something with the valve stem. I'm never too sure when going into a automotive place by myself but never once did I feel like I was going to get jipped by this place. The man I spoke to didn't sound too friendly... maybe because they were all tied up but he told me to bring it in the next day & that's just what I did and sure enough, they were ready & willing to help me out! We had a ton of country that started a stall at a stoplight and while you go to other people in town like Palmen Motors who would actually charge us thousands of dollars to replace a lot of stuff as a simple oxygen sensor and he replaced it in the car runs like brand new I could not be happier with Mark. He's an honest guy. Gateway is also a great place for a simple oil change. I will always come to him for any type of needs that I have, and if he can't handle it, he'll actually tell you who can do it that he trusts. If you're looking for a good, honest business to work on your automobile, at a reasonable price, Gateway Service Center is the place to go. I highly recommend them.

Even though all they're bays were blocked. They jacked my van up and found that a caliper bracket bolt vibrated out. I would have had to wait almost 2 weeks when I tried to set up a rotation. Also when I went for air checks they are not very friendly.they do not acknowledge you when you pull in. You have to track them down and then you are ruining their day. I've left there twice and they forgot to replace the cap on at least one tire. I've bought 3 sets of tires from them and not sure I'll be back.

The waiting area has copious amounts of free beverages and the wi-fi was speedy and easy to use so I could get some work done while I waited. The car was hand-washed after the service was complete, which I thought was a nice touch. Just one minor issue that prevented this from being five stars: - I added a note to my appointment that I had a couple scuffs I would like the body shop to take a look at and give me a quote on, but it turns out that this location has no body shop (can't say I've ever seen THAT before) and Dustin directed me to their sister location a few miles down the road. Had he reviewed my request in advance of my visit, I could have been prepared for this adjustment. I also didn't want to drive down there and find out that they were too busy to see me. Here a little more customer service would have gone a long way.

Of course we had to do the classic negotiation with him and his manager and the whole wheel and deal the whole process of negotiating for buying a new car, but I didn't find any dishonesty/sneakiness that you find at a lot of other car dealerships. Toyota's offer was much more fair than Honda's offer for one of their vehicles and more fair on the trade in value of the car we were trading in and they were willing to price match if we found a better trade in offer elsewhere. Also, the sales consultants do not work off commission here which is a plus for potential buyers. So after dealing with them, and after doing our due diligence checking out Honda Kenosha, we ultimately purchased the 2026 Toyota Corolla from them. I highly recommend Arnold as the salesman you deal with at this location, and I am recommending the location overall if you want to buy a Toyota.
