But, I gave them a second chance and returned today to buy some fuel system cleaner. There were three people behind the counter, one was at a register and the other two had their faces buried in their cell phones. I approached the one who didn't appear preoccupied with texting but this person told me she was busy. So I approached the other register and made a joke about the other two texting each other when they were only 5 feet apart. I said I was joking but the guy at the register said he was offended by what I said. I repeated that I was only joking but he was visibility angry and he repeated that I had offended him. So I walked out without making a purchase and I will never shop at an Autozone ever again.

Last night I bought a starter relay because my daughters car wouldn't start. The box they sold it to me in was kinda krinkled up (which I thought was odd), but the part was new and looked good. So I bought it. My daughter ended up being able to start her car a few minutes later (probably a loose wire or something). So I didn't need the relay. Didn't install it. Didn't do anything. It was still brand new in box. Tried to return it to the store (this was 20 MINUTES after buying it), and the guy said that it had been installed or looked used. So he would not take it back. Again, this was 20 MINUTES after I bought it. No oil, no grime, no scrapes, no dents, not even a scratch on it...because it didn't leave the box that I bought it in. I felt insulted and felt like I was being called a liar...as if I were trying to con them or something. Felt humiliated. All this over an overpriced $30 relay that I could find from any online vendor for $10-15. They destroyed our relationship and my confidence in ever buying from them again. After all these years and all the purchases that I made, I never want to go back. I will drive the extra five miles to Oreilly or just buy online at Rockauto or something. So just beware if you buy anything that you might even remotely ever need to return to the store. Don't expect them to kindly give your money back. They pulled this on me 20 MINUTES after purchase with a NEW IN BOX part and a VALID RECEIPT in hand. I would go so far as to say that you better triple-check the part before you even leave the store and make darn sure that it is the right part and that you will never need to return it, because they might pull this on you.

I was literally waiting in line with the fluid in hand to pay and he was just next to me giving me my own personal countdown. And a few times I have asked to either borrow or have someone help me with the scan tool and again he's been a dick about it. One time he wouldn't even let his employee help me because they had been been there the night before to have my car scanned. And most of the people working there also treat you like your radioactive. They get annoyed if you ask for help finding parts, they are constantly on their phones or they just plain don't know anything about cars. To me that's an indication of bad management. It starts from te top up, managers set the tone for their staff and stores. If I could give less than a 1 star rating I would.

Went back Tuesday and at first the lady said they didn't have any cars that matched mine but on Sunday there were at least 7 different cars, then she looked and gave me 2 cars to look at. When I asked about the one from sunday and I was told they threw it away...why. if your throwing money away then they might as well give it to me for free...the lady found it in the garbage but I had to go back and get the side pieces and then they charged me $47 for the part, when I could of gotten it for $24.25 on Sunday. I called and the lady was rude, tried arguing with my wife, and was clearly lying about the price. She kept insisting the climate control and bezzle was 2 different pieces so I was charged $35 for climate control and $10 for the bezzle but the kicker is that in my truck its all 1 piece and if they were separate, it would be broken, so make that make sense. They will scam you when they can then argue with you about the price. Bad business.

CALL FLOYD'S FIRST…read more If you need a tow in the Racine, WI area, make Floyd's your 1st call. I was stranded on the shoulder of I-94W when my 20ft long Class B camper van broke down. I called MANY other companies -- none of which could or were willing to provide assistance in getting me and my vehicle to safety. Once I was fortunate enough to reach Floyd's, help was on the way. They sent not 1 but 2 trucks and the drivers teamed up to get my vehicle loaded on a flatbed and hauled it, and me, to a local shop they recommended where I could not have been more warmly received. The driver of the first truck is named ADAM and of the second truck, JEREMY. These guys were STELLAR. They were genuinely concerned about my welfare and in helping me and treated me my vehicle with utmost respect. AND, I thought the price was very fair. THANK YOU GUYS. Can't frankly say how good they are at the job - because they failed at the sales cycle…read more For four windows in a base configuration, they were north of $14k. To put in perspective: Home Depot installed the highest end Simonton windows possible with the specs requested and came in at around $7k installed. Which means that HomeSealed has excessive profits padded in. So...if you don't care about the money side, they might be perfectly fine to work with as a local outfit. EDIT: laminated was requested as a cost compare option, not a requirement. Even if laminated were a requirement, Home Depot's was still cheaper by over $3k. Fact is - as we said - HomeSealed is just priced higher because they don't use every manufacturer, they only use the ones they use, which tend to lean the higher cost. That's what we said: they might be fine at their job and you might want the best of whatever, maybe they're fine. BUT...if you're like 95% of homeowners who feel that significant pricing differences for basic things like colors is illogical, HomeSealed isn't for you.
