These folks are fantastic, especially Preston. In less than 5 minutes after driving up Preston walked over and asked how he could help. He went through my options for the oil change, explaining the differences and costs. He also went over the additional services that were included, vacuuming, window cleaning, topping fluids, etc. You do have the option to wait in your car but their waiting room is pretty comfortable. As we walked through the bay area Preston pointed out the location of the restrooms and what the waiting room offered, e.g. TV, wi-fi, coffee, drinks, etc. The prices are comparable to other locations but the service here is outstanding! I have been going to this Jiffy Lube for 6-7 years, and over several dozen oil changes, have always gotten quick, reliable service. However, earlier this year, when I took my car in to get an oil change and a new cabin filter, they told me that while working on my car, they had accidentally broken my glove box dampener (a cord which keeps the glovebox from flopping open). They said they would need to order a replacement from the dealership. I appreciated their honesty and patiently waited about a month until the part came in. By the time I needed another oil change (just recently), I had moved three hours from Woodbridge, and so went to a different Jiffy Lube. I had been there about 5 minutes when the Tech told me they had found a two problems with my car. They said that the oil drain plug had been stripped by the last Tech, and that two 'ears' which hold on part of the dash had been broken, apparently while replacing the cabin filter. (The cabin filter is behind the dash.) I related to them that it had been another Jiffy Lube in the Washington area who had last worked on it. They just said they were unable to do anything for me, and told me to contact the Jiffy Lube in Woodbridge. I called and spoke with the Asst. Manager there. He spoke with the Regional Manager and then came back and told me that, because I could not prove that they had caused the damage, that there was nothing they could do -- even though they were the ONLY place that has worked on my car, and even though they previously admitted that they had broken the glove box dampener. I cannot recall being so disappointed in a business that I have done business with for years without any issues. Though I am no longer in the DC area, this poor support from the original Jiffy Lube, and then the lack of help with the Jiffy Lube who found the problem will definitely cause this long-time customer to look for another company for my oil changes. read more

I barely.got thru checking my email and they were done. I checked the oil when i got home and it was nice and honey like, so they obviously changed it, once i get down and see what filter they put on, I'll update it to 5 stars... it might be $70 more than doing it myself, but speed and convenience is worth it if they did it right. An Oil change option in the Woodbridge Area. I may be biased concerning my oil change expectations. Where I live and get oil changes at places like this, I have certain expectations. I can stay in my car. It is about 10-15 minutes. I can drive my car in and out by myself. When the car is completed there are no parts left out. And the staff are consistent in what they tell me about the procedure. Unfortunately, after the experience at this particular location, I believe that I am going to have to reassess my expectations for the Woodbridge area as my experience did not meet these expectations. I drove up to the outside of the location. There were cars in both bays and so I waited in my car to pull into the bay. I asked and was told that I could stay in my car during the change. When the bay cleared, I was asked to get out of the car and go to the waiting area, and that they had to drive the car in and out. No one gave me options on oil changes or service. They just drove the car into the bay. After they opened the hood, a nice gentleman called me out to the bay and asked what I wanted done. I told him a basic oil change and tire rotation, and we discussed the options. He was very professional. They accomplished the work in about 25 minutes and pulled the car out of the bay while the lady in the waiting area checked me out. When we went to get in the car there was a piece of the car in the passenger seat. When we told the staff they came over and installed it under the passenger legroom compartment and apologized for the mistake. The service cost about $100. Those were all the places that they could improve. Now here are some good things. They did an oil change and tire rotation in record time. They were very friendly. They vacuumed the car very well and cleaned all the windows. Overall, I am torn about whether I would return or recommend this location to others. read more

I have been a Jiffy Lube customer since the mid 1980s and have been using this particular service center for almost 20 years. Only twice have I had a problem. Once, they installed the new oil filter and gasket over the old gasket and of course there was a leak within a few hours. They remedied the problem immediately and gave me a coupon for a free oil change. The other time, they left a tool in my engine compartment. They caught their mistake almost immediately and called me before I got a mile down the road. They offered to come pick it up, but I was running errands so I dropped it off on the way home. Twice, they have identified problems on two new vehicles. One was a transmission gasket leak and the other was an exhaust manifold leak. Neither would have been detected until they became a significant problem and probably after the factory warranty would have expired. I don't appreciate them alway trying to upsell their services, but as long as you review the service interval of you vehicle before you go in, you know what does or doesn't need to be done. Their prices are about the same as all the other companies, including the dealerships. Waits time is always minimal unless you try to get the work done during peak hours. I'm a satisfied customer, as are my adult kids. read more

Decided to stop in for my due oil change before my night shift at work. I ended up going a few hours before I needed to go to work since I wasn't sure how long the wait would be. Once I pulled up: they asked what services I needed and brought me into the waiting room. Then quickly after they brought me outside asked what I needed and said in 20 minutes they will get it done. Wow! I was highly surprised. Going to the dealership takes hours! Once ready the desk associate rung me out and I was good to go. Be sure to check online if they have any coupons you can apply. They didn't try and sell me on extra things I didn't need. Lots of awesome women working! I was prepared to give two stars until the location manager got on the phone with today and destroyed any remaining loyalty or goodwill I may have had for Jiffy Lube. I went to the Minnieville Road location for the signature oil change package. Unfortunately, when my car was ready, I pulled out of the lot before I realized that my dashboard indicators had not been re-set and I was still showing my oil life remaining at 17 percent. I returned to the location and had that reset, which was a pain, but not the end of the world. The problem started whenI got home and saw the receipt that had been emailed to me. The receipt showed that as part of the signature service package, my tires had been inflated to 36 PSI front and rear. Unfortunately, my sensors showed the tires to be slightly overinflated in the 40s - exactly the PSI I came in with. Clearly, no one checked the PSI, let along inflated my tires. It made me wonder what other "signature services" were overlooked during my visit. I emailed to complain and had a manager call me today. He told me that he had video of my tires being inflated. He did not accept that there is no way my tires could have been inflated because they're at the same (higher than recommended) PSI that they were at when I brought the car in and nowhere near the R36F36 PSI my receipt says they are at. I said clearly no one had checked the PSI because they would have known not to inflate them, but rather, to release air. He really wanted to argue with me. Had he simply apologized and invited me in to check the tires himself, I would have been grateful and returned to Jiffy Lube in the future. But because he wanted to argue and insist that I come in to "watch the video for proof" I realized he was not solution-oriented and was more interested in winning the point than my continued business. read more

My expectation was very low but I was blown away by the service at this location. My first interaction was with Kevin! Wow and wow! What a warm welcome and genuine care this gentleman provided! You pull in and there no signage to tell you prices. The guy greeted me outside and told me $49 for my tahoe. (Dealer charges 29.95 but I'm in a rush) I agree and go inside. After my trucks in the bay, hood up & oil drained out, the tech comes and gets me and tries to sell my wipers and an air filter; I expect that. Then he tells me the it'll be $75. I told him his coworker told me $49 and that for that price i wouldve said no. Then hes like well we already started. I called the original tech who was acting oblivious and ignorant to the situation and he was like "sorry i didnt know yoyr truck cost more". To make a long story short, they had to call a manager over and he acted like he was doing me a favor. Then I had the online $10 coupon and they wouldn't honor it because "the price was already adjusted for me". I'm not hard to please, and I don't have very high expectations, but I do expect my car to be treated carefully when someone is working on it. Cars aren't cheap. Wheels aren't cheap. I got my oil changed, tires rotated, and engine air filter replaced, and my wheels are scratched and scraped everywhere now. I take good care of my things, and I just bought these wheels, and now I hate looking at them. I don't give a fuck if I have to sit around for five hours if the workers are careful, but instead I get speed and disregard for something I pay a lot to own. AVOID this place at all costs! I went in for a simple oil change and was told synthetic oil is expensive. I know its expensive but not $230 which is what I was charged because they added crap I doubt I needed (I always keep up with maintenance). Then a couple of days later all 4 of my tires were almost completely out of air that's when I noticed only two tire valves were missing and two were barely hanging on. This unprofessional jerks didn't put the valves on properly after they filled the tires with air. I'll NEVER go to any Jiffy Lube location EVER again. read more

I know that Jiffy Lube pushes the upsell all the time. That being said, I have been to many locations that understand that customer service has to come first. It's a shame that this is not one of those locations. I've taken my work vehicle here a few times. They've been very quick, but that is about the only good thing. They have one guy who consistently pushes services that you don't need. And to be honest, he is a bit of a bully when doing it. I had a tire rotation done one service and when I was back 5,000 miles later for the next service, he told me that the tire rotation was due. Two problems with that. 1) I am not stupid. 2) I could see on the screen where it was done last time. Honestly, I can deal with all that. What I cannot deal with is what they tried to do to my wife. She took our personal car in a few days ago for them to recharge the AC and they told her it would be $350. That was more than TWICE of any quote I got from the other shops in the area that I called. And here is the kicker. I called earlier today to ask how much that service would be and was told it was $199.99 (still higher than everyone else). Where they get the nerve to try to blatantly rip off my wife (who was there with our kids) during one of the hottest weeks of the summer, I don't know. There is no excuse for that. They didn't care about us, so we won't be using them even if they are the closest shop to our house. read more

I am not a fan of Jiffy Lube and have had bad experiences since I am a female but this location was on top of everything. I actually learned to do everything myself but today was too cold so I tried them again. I was not pressured to purchase more services and they were more expedient than most. My wife decided to try this shop a couple of weeks ago for the first time. All she needed was an oil change. She drove it in, and let the mechanics perform an inspection The first thing the service manager told her was that she needed new tires. This was a surprise for my wife as we had just replaced all four tires a couple of weeks earlier at the dealer's service center. Then, the manager told her she needed a brake job. Same surprise, as we had a complete brake job done when the tires were replaced. The service manager then tried to sell my wife on fuel injector cleaning. This time my wife called me and I told the manager we'd had that service done a couple of months earlier. Now visibly annoyed, he performed the oil change and my wife left. Several days later I noticed drops of oil on the driveway in the spot my wife parks her car. I took it the car right in to our dealer, and they determined the oil plug had not been properly tightened. Had we not noticed the leak, the plug could have ended up loosening and backing out completely, causing loss of all engine oil. Needless to say, we will never go back to this shop. read more

Went for 3000 mile oil change got lied to twice and pushed to get an air filter and other services I didn't need, couldn't afford and didn't want. First I explained I had an appointment to get to and needed to get in and out in 30 mins max. They put me in a line behind 2 other cars - each lane had 2 cars ahead as well. Finally my car gets into the work bay and they (Barry) tell me I need a new air filter because although the filter was replaced just 2 months ago and 99.9% clean and we both agreed on that, Barry told me it should be replaced because moisture can affect it and my fuel mileage. While it's just $24 and change, I dont want to be told I need to spend money on something I don't need and my gas mileage is just fine at 33mpg thank you. Then 6 mins later I'm told the car is done. I ask how that can be and remarked it has never been that quick ever. I question if the car was lubed, vacuumed and air put in the tires. Barry told me it had all been done I look in the car and see no one vacuumed it at all. I know I need air in one leaky tire, yet Barry tells me hus two people did it all. I showed him the obvious dirt in the car on the floors and he agreed it wasn't vacuumed. I'm annoyed he lied twice so I oay and left. Be careful with this place and watch them like a hawk. I have never had a big problem here in more than 10 years going to it but had monor ones like this. Yet i wonder if they did an oil change this time since I didn't watch. Next time I go back I will watch close as I normally do. read more
