Got there early and in 30 minutes I was out and they didn't try to sell me anything else but did mention that the air filter and wiper blades need changing soon . Wasted my time. 40 minutes I'll never get back but at least I got to get breakfast at McDonald's. The only person that approached me after 20 minutes said I'll get in in 15 min and my oil change will be competed in 15 for a total of 30. I explained I had time constraints. There was nothing "Jiffy" about this experience. Waited nearly 30 minutes before going in for an oil change and then another 35 minutes for the service itself. The service station was free but they wouldn't let us drive in. Finally, when we rolled down the window to ask when we could drive in, they told us to get out of the car. They would not allow us to stay in the car for the oil change service. The sign says, "Relax in your car or wait in our lounge." When we go to Valvoline, we always stay in the car. That's the beauty of quick oil changes. You get to stay in the car while they work. The lounge was unwelcoming, crowded with other pissed off folks waiting around because they were also forced out of their cars . Terrible service, takes way longer than 15 minutes, amateur folks, unprofessional...will NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS PLACE. The employers see that I'm standing at the counter and no one has yet to approach me to see what I needed. It's been over 20 min at this point. I just need to get my car on the line to get an oil change. I can't go into the garage since that's their work place but there is no one at the counter. Yet they have all seen me waiting. Very disappointing to say the least. I'm still giving this place a shot but the customer service here lacks severely. read more

I'm normally not the type to write a review so for me to be here writing this is a major deal. On Sunday 3/21 I went there early in the morning to get my car serviced. I had to go pick up my own part for my service because they were out of stock on it and wouldn't have the piece in for another few days. I was annoyed for the inconvenience but it was understandable. My car stated that I needed a tire rotation, engine oil, and oil filter for maintenance. After my service was done, I was given a 15% coupon for my inconvenience which I thought was awesome. But it all went downhill from there. When I was attempting to leave from the facility my car wouldn't move. The associates had no clue why my car wouldn't move. After spending a little time there I reached out to my personal mechanic who then told me it's because of my tires. My tires are staggered (different size in the front and back). The associates at jiffy lube didn't have knowledge in how to revert my tires back and to have my car functional again. It was only after I reached out to my personal mechanic that I was able to drive my car again. My personal mechanic had to guide them through the process. It only gets worse from here... The day prior to my experience at JL, I just got my car wrapped. For those of you who don't know what a wrap is, it's when you change the color of your car by applying a vinyl decal. The night prior, I got my car freshly wrapped! Jiffy Lube ruined my wrap... my freshly done wrap... They left scratches and fingerprints all over the hood of my car. Not only was I annoyed about my experience but now I'm infuriated. It's understandable to experience inconveniences but to have my car damaged in their care? I reached out to customer service and I reviewed an initial call from the District Manager telling me that they received my claim but I haven't heard anything beyond that. I did a synthetic oil change on my dodge charger rt 2021. I was a bit skeptical about this place since it was my first time. I should've trusted my gut. Price was 140 but I got a discount from the site so I paid 120. Turns out my gut was right and they left the oil filter loose. Now my engine is messed up a month later. I came here with my little toddler to get my oil changed in my car. This location is conveniently located right off of Northern Blvd and it is kind of small. They work pretty quickly and the staff is super nice. Carlton and Lexie were so nice and helpful when it came to my car maintenance. They were also very interactive with my toddler which made it a better experience. It was $70 for the oil change which is a little high but they got it done quickly. Oil change was done quickly. They did advise me on what else had to be done. They did not vacuum the interior or clean the front windshield as advertised. If you need an inspection done, get there as soon as they open. They won't do inspections after 3 pm. read more

Staff very friendly, however the wait plus communication issues led to minus stars. Was told the wait would be quick, 30 minutes at most. More than 30 minutes later, they looked at my car and told me I had to replace my tire (which I assumed since there were two nails in it). Then waited while they looked for a replacement tire. Then waited for them to install the replacement tire -- only for them to call me back saying they didn't have the tire they claimed to have and that I would have to wait two days for it to arrive. Ended up going to another shop and was able to get the whole thing done in 20 minutes, at a lower cost and a better tire! Maybe it was an off day or terribly busy but wish they had communicated that to me when I got there, instead I spent over 1.5 hours waiting around without getting anything done. read more

I went to this Jiffy Lube the first time 8/14/21. I waited almost a half hour and when they finally brought my truck in for service they stripped the bolt on my oil pan and wanted to charge me $400 for parts and labor to fix the mistake they made. I had a tow truck pick it up and bring it to my mechanic who told me they had been at fault for the oil pan damage. Would not recommend and would definitely not go back ever. read more

That being said, I had the best experience I think I'll ever have when it comes to getting anything in or around my car fixed. I was in a pinch for an oil change and I no longer live close to my trusted mechanic I've been going to my entire life. It's interesting that most other places were closed on the weekend, but luckily Jiffy Lube came to the rescue via Yelp searches. Of course I would've liked to be there the minute they opened at 8 AM to beat the crowd, but waking up at the crack of dawn on a Saturday is not for me. We got there at 10 AM, which I would think is peak morning - we were out within the hour! They also have coupons on their site for $13-15 off depending on the oil. The man who helped me was really nice and helpful, not to mention he didn't try to sell me on anything else. I said I was there for just an oil change and he politely asked if there was anything else I wanted him to check. I chose this spot because I missed my original oil change appointment in LI. It was fast, reliable, and easy. I watched them do everything from inside my car. Lexi is a great worker who helped me every step of the way. She is funny and kind. My boyfriend and I come here every so often when his car (aka his baby) needs something. The service is pretty good and you don't have to worry about your quarters going missing. Jose and Pauly are the best and do a great job. There is a girl that works on the cars and usually rings us up, I appreciate that she's straight forward and gets things done. I like the fact that they keep your information in their database. When you get there, they look you up by license plate and they see your name and car information as well as previous visits and services. Super quick and courteous service! Second time in 2 years I've come here for my car's annual NYS Inspection. No appointments necessary, so when I arrived around 10:30am on a weekday there were 3 other cars ahead of mine. I was told a 30-45 minute wait time which I didn't have problem with. Service on the first 2 cars was pretty much being finished up, the other care ahead of me was inspected, followed by mine. By the time my inspection was done it was only 40 minutes later (maybe at most 15 mins total for my car alone). Talk about speed and efficiency. They do a great job of educating their customers and providing options as well; no attitude of trying to sell you a service at all as long as you have some working knowledge of your car. For $47 plus tax, you get a complete oil/ filter change, transmission belts and brakes check, wiper blades inspected, floors vacuumed, power steering and washer fluids topped off, and tire pressure checked. $5 extra they topped off the antifreeze. About a year ago I left an amazing review because that one time the service was amazing... Since then they have changed staff and managers I believe and service has gotten horrible.... My most recent visit and LAST visit was just to simply get a inspection done on the car but when I got in my car there was grease all on my doors and seats and then my quarter panel next to the inspection sticker has grease all over it and it's stained.. When I went back in the guy brings out windex to clean grease out of cloth material I looked at him like he was crazy and he said sorry I don't know how that happened....
