She sent the septic inspection report so they knew what to expect. Monday they can out to pump when my mom asked about the inspection the guy told her that's not my job. She called the office and they told her they would be out the next day. 2days later my mom called again and they told her sometime next week. Since she's got a deadline for closing she started calling other places Only to find out that the septic now needs to be pumped again as the tank needs to be emptied to see what's going on and exactly what needs to be repaired. She called brewer back and they won't do anything. Go figure they made their money so they don't care they screwed and elderly women. Beware! I recently had Russell Reid/United Site Services pump out my 1500 gallon (total) septic…read moretanks (500 grey, 1000 black). At the same time I had the grey tank's inlet jetted due to a clog. The guys that came to the house were professional and friendly and the tanks were successfully pumped and inlet cleared. A few days later I noticed what I had been billed a larger than agreed upon amount of money. I called the main office to find out what was going on and was told the jetting cost more because of time and that they had pumped 2000 gallons instead of the 1000 gallons which had been quoted. They claim they were onsite for almost 2 hours, my driveway cam shows that was incorrect, they were there for less than an hour. And the claim of them pumping a metered 2000 gallons is also incorrect because the total of my tanks is only 1500, and a usual pumping is roughly 1100 gallons. To note, it's impossible to utilize the full capacity of your tanks (unless you have a clog in the field) because the inlet/outlet are lower than the top of the tank. I'm still waiting for an update on them fixing the bill and processing a refund. Something that should have also been handled while I was on the phone, not a day or two later...

Star plumbing had installed a new water heater in my house a couple of years ago which broke down…read morelast Sat morning. I called them immediately multiple times and finally got hold of them. Guy told me he was at the beach and couldn't help me until Mon. Anyways they took my info and confirmed I was under warranty and my heater will be replaced but I ll have to pay $450 labor. I had no choice but agree to it. Mon morning they called and told me they had a flat tire but will be there and eventually they did arrive later that morning. Since my basement has a new carpet and my young children play there, I requested them to put shoe coverings on. This is where the problem started with their attitude. They said, they didn't have any shoe covering and their shoes were 'clean'. Many Asian/South Asians don't bring outdoor shoes inside the house. I offered them new plastic bags to put on their shoes but they refused to do so and angrily left the house saying you should get it done from someone else. At that time, my wife intervened and requested them to come back inside with their shoes and said we ll get it clean later. living in NJ, they should know not everyone wears outside shoes on inside carpet. They should have shoe coverings as contractors and refusing to help work with the customer was just bizarre. My wife put whatever sheets she could find to cover the way but it's a large area and didn't cover everything besides they didn't seem to want to wait. I worked with them and waited a couple of days without hot water. I didn't push them to send a backup plumber or didn't negotiate the labor cost but their uncooperative and frankly grumpy attitude left a bad taste.
