You bought a house but it was not disclosed to you that there was a problem with the plumbing, so you have to take it upon yourself to call your own plumber, but when they guys show up, they immediately ask they can use your bathroom and for over two hours they take turns going in and out of there taking huge mud pies and over flushing, then they go in there together and you hear a bunch of scrounging around and then you hear a bunch of yelling, and one of them is standing in the bathroom doorway shouting at you that his friend's foot's stuck in the toilet, and he says "help him! You gotta help him!" And when you go in there to help him he just pulls it out easily and laughs because his foot wasn't stuck. It wasn't stuck at all he was just faking it. And then they get really serious and say "It's turbo time!" and they both start running around the house as fast as they can and jumping over the couches, but when you try and jump in they yell at you and they say "YOU'RE NOT PART OF THE TURBO TEAM! DON'T RUN. YOU DON'T RUN WITH US! WE'RE THE ONES WHO RUN! UNTIL YOU'RE PART OF THIS TURBO TEAM, WALK... SLOWLY!" . So you go and lay down to be by yourself and read your art books, but then the next day you went to the bathroom and it looked like the hole in your toilet had shrunk. You said, "How could that be? There's no way they could have shrunk the toilet." but then you saw in the trash, a receipt from Home Depot for a toilet the exact same size as yours, but with a joke hole that's just for farts! They replaced your real toilet with a fart toilet! And now you can't take a dump in your house, cause your toilet can't suck them down, and you feel sick to your stomach! CRIMINAL- DO NOT TRUST BOB I trusted Bob to do a job and make sure he was not going to rip off my mother who was recently widowed and looking for help. Bob saw an opportunity to take advantage of a woman who knew nothing about plumbing and charged her 1,000 and never fixed the issue. Instead he "spent all day" at her residence and replaced a toilet she never even needed. I tried to call him back to get him to fix the problem but he has been avoiding our phone calls. Unfortunately, we will more than likely have to go to small claims court. It is sad that there are people in this world like Bob who look to take advantage of people. read more

Bob Vena personally installed my heating system from the previous owner of my house and has been servicing my house located in the Strathmore section of Aberdeen. He changed out my boiler last year and now there is an issue with the system. He does not want to come out to even verify the problem. I am very disappointed that he installed the system, serviced it charging a hefty price a year ago and now does not want to look at it to see what is wrong. He actually gave me an appointment and never showed up. When I called he just said he does not want to service this kind of problem. There is no loyalty in this person and company. One of out toilets was severely plugged and his assistant came within a half hour of our call and cleared the blockage. However, today it plugged again. Bob and his assistant pulled the toilet and found that there was a rib bone in it which allowed the snake to pass easily but nothing else. (can not understand how a bone got down there but it id). In any event, they came today within a half hour of our call, reseated the toiled and did not charge for the second call. They are very pleasant to deal with and have cleared other problems much faster and cheaper than the local guy who has a large advertising budget and a lot of trucks. Bob and his assistant were courteous and professional. They had to make a few trips but were good communicators. It was a gross and messy job but they left the space clean. His final price was fair. I had a leak under my sink on the right side faucet. Wasn't sure if it was coming from the flex connector to the turn valve or the copper pipe underneath that has a welded connection. I took off the flexible connector myself and seen the turn-off valve wasn't completely stopping the water flow and was spewing water. I figure it was a bigger job then I can handle and calles Bob Vena. I seen they give free estimate and figured they would come out to look at it. Well that was my first mistake. When I called, the guy said yeah they do estimates, but asked me what's wrong over the phone.I tell him that's there's a leak and it appears the flex connector, the valve, and probably the copper pipe needs replacing. He tells me it'll be $200. I figure that sounds right for all that work. So I leave, to get money. They guy shows up immediately and my mother let's him in. I come back and he's already fixed replaced the flex connector on the right side (which was the problem side) and he's changing the one one the left now. He says while he's here, he might as well change both. I tell him I'm I appreciate it. But I also see he didn't replace the valve or pipe on the right. He says it was only the connector. So I joke with him saying I could have done that.( I've actually done that before). He then says he'll get the bill. I tell him, well That's gonna be maybe $100 dollars instead of $200 ( cause he literally took 20 minutes and only repleaced two flex connectors that cost AT MOST $5 a piece. So he tells me gonna be $199, I won't charge you the extra $6 fee. I tell him you sure, I'll give you the money (cause at this point, you ripped me off anyway, I don't need no favors from you now). Either way, don't make the mistake I did. If you call for an estimate, make sure they come down to actually see and determine what might need to be replaced! And as a first customer, if they were fair, I would've hired them again, but not being a reasonable on a price for this job, NEVER AGAIN! read more
