Such a great local pizza place! Unique wood fire, personal pan pizza and one my favorite lunch spots in all of Cenla. My family loves the cauliflower pizza crust. Was in Alexandria.. stopped here to get a pizza and it was absolutely the best. Best in Louisiana 4sure. The crust is amazing. Not your average 1 day self rising. They know what they are doing here. And to top things off the owner son gave me a sample of the voodoo pizza which was delicious. Great job guys.. I'll def be back!! read more

Got to the place and stepped in the door to be hollered at by manger that they open at 11. First thing first dont holler at your customer. Second thing it was 4 minutes till 11. Third thing lock the damn door if youre not open. This happened the first month they were open and I left and went to BJs down the road to friendly service. read more

Jim. Deggy is not a bad eatery..... it just isn't for me. It's the dough that's used for the crust and calzones that turns me off from this place.. I have had brick oven pizza before and the dough was not as dry as this one was. There was minimal sauce to help it out. Most of the time the pizza you ordered is correct but you had better check your pizza cause I have had them leave stuff off or not tell you that they do not have everything that you want on your pizza. read more

Pizza was delicious! We stopped by after visiting the Alexandria zoo. The service was extremely fast and the restaurant had a lot of space for dine-in customer. We had a party of 5 and had our food (3pizzas) within minutes. Great place for kids! read more

LOVE this pizza and the dessert calzones are amazing! My only suggestion is to get the bartenders some training. They are very personable but lacking in basic skills. At times there is no fruit juice to use as mixers....standard for a bar. read more

Tried going there twice for pick up. Once, answered phone and told they were closed. Next time called in and told pizza ready in 35 minutes. Ok! Go there 45 minutes later. Told pizza would not ready for another 35 minutes. Like WTF? Had my number, could have called back on told me. Stick to your food truck! Staying with Norma at BJ just down road. She and staff are awesome and give doggie treats at drive through. read more

Jim Deggys Serves Brick- Oven Wood-Fired 10 inch Personal sized Pizzas. Our Pizza's are Hand-Tossed and cooked at 700 degrees for three minutes in our rotating brick oven. Our "Style" is a good mixture between a "Neapolitan" and "New York" style pizza. Our crust is what most people love! We have a signature crust that is sweet, leopard appearance, and is light and airy. You can't miss our re-purposed Military Food Truck.

Established in 2017.

My Grandfather James (Jim) DeGregorio (Deggy) introduced me to New York Style pizza when I was a child. As an adult I'm honored to serve brick oven pizza with a Northern flavor.

This place has the BEST pizza!! Wildwood has been our go to pizza place and we still love it, but there is no pizza as good at Jim Deggy's. Super thin crust under the toppings and airy/fluffy crust on the edges. And the topping choices are a great combination of traditional and cajun. True to Louisiana! Check it out when you're in Pineville for out an about if they still use their food truck. We highly recommend it. BTW, the banana/nutella calzone is a delish way to wrap up a great meal! read more
