The biggest problem was that I was sat on one side with a noisy crowd while the other side of the restaurant was quiet and only had one family at one of the booths. When I asked, why I was sat with with noisy crowd, she acknowledged all the noise, and said "that's what people do when they drink, they get loud". Walk in at 2:30 and no one was at the entrance to sit me. Stood there for a moment and then decided to sit myself on the non-bar side where I sat for 5-10 minutes before I got up and moved to the bar side to see if I could get some type of service. It was worse than sitting on the other side where no one knew I was there. It took the only guy in the house 5 minutes to take my drink order. After that he just stood behind the bar talking to another employee while I sat and stared at them for at least 5 more minutes. Finally when I got up to walk out, me begins to walk in my direction. Now by this time I have been there for 20 minutes I will never get back. I asked him if they were closed and he said no. I just shook my head and walked out. This is a bunch of crap. The environment was friendly and inviting. The bartender (William) was our waiter. Food was very good. Brussel sprouts were the best. The pizza and appetizer came out together, which I don't typically care for, but it's a small thing. I wosj they would have had 1 more server so everyone could have been a little more attentive. The only reason I'm giving it more than one star is because of the service--our server was polite, professional, and hard-working. However, the food was absolutely terrible. My son and his friend shared a $24 deep dish pizza that went mostly uneaten. They said the some of the meat tasted off. The dough was not cooked and most of the cheese wasn't even melted. We brought it up with our server, who tried to explain why but didn't actually remedy the situation. My meatball sandwich was just okay. Nothing about it was an $11 sandwich, though...it reminded me of cafeteria food. And every salad here is an abomination--if you like salads, do not order a salad here. I payed $30 for a pepperoni pizza and truffle fries. I was expecting it to be up to par with pizza from California or New York for that price! You're honestly better off ordering from Pizza Hut or Domino's. Matter of fact, even the frozen pizza in the grocery store taste better. This place is extremely good. As in, dream about at night because everything looked amazing, smelled wonderful, and had a great atmosphere. My Mom took me here to celebrate my birthday, I had a calzone - I believe the Popeye - and I asked them to add meat. They were happy to oblige. Dirty and unorganized. Please see photos for our table, menu, what was around us. The servers did not know who was supposed to take the order so we saw multiple servers before we actually got to place our order. The server that care of us was very nice. The cooks decided to make the adult meal before preparing the kids meal. That's not appropriate when you're hungry kids. Overall I would say not a clean place not very organized. The one part of our meal that did come out was the brussels sprouts which really paled. Soggy and oily that tasted not of salt and sweet bacon that tasted like the dirty grill. Brought DH to try the Deep Dish Pizza. He grew up in Chicago and we were happy to see it offered. We were immediately greeted and seated within 2 minutes of arriving. The bartender waited on us and offered to heat up tea for me since I didn't want coffee but wanted a warm beverage. It was exactly what I wanted on this cool day. It wasn't a long wait before our First Timers deep dish came out. We both agreed that while it wasn't all the way authentic, it was quite good and we will definitely order it again. The specialty craft red sauce on it was delicious! I asked another waiter and was told I can sub it for the classic marinara sauce on most pizzas. It usually only comes on the specialty pizzas. Their menu has something for most anyone. Burgers, wings, salads, shrimp tacos, pastas, pizza, and a full bar. The service was better than average. While not overtly friendly, they are definitely attentive. Of the 3 staff that interacted with us, only the other waiter was warm and friendly. They have a lovely outdoor seating area too. read more

While the food is not bad, they insist upon blasting music from speakers over the tables and you can't have a simple conversation with your dining companions. Background music is great but this is too loud. We've asked numerous times to have the volume lowered and they will reduce it a tiny bit. Not a great experience. read more

David Alford Date Night number 1,512 in 29 years of marriage, So I went here about 9:00 PM Friday night because my wife wanted Pizza, Jim Deggys was to far this late, second choice Wildwood closed 15 minutes early, I was there. I was about to settle for a baked potato when I remembered Rotolo's I was happy to learn they were open till 10:00 PM, staff was friendly, good vibe, Outdoor dinning, lots of people I was excited because this was my first time here. ordered 2 Pizzas, Artichoke dip, and the Krewe bread sticks to go and over $70 later and with so many people there I am thinking this is gonna be great. Unfortunately when I got home a few minutes later the food did not live up to the hype or the price. To say I was disappointed is putting it mildly, The dough was tough and leathery, like it was over proofed, pizza was over cooked and dry not enough sauce. The chicken I ordered as an extra topping was flavorless and dumped on top of the cooked pizza as an after thought. The Bread sticks were pretty good but nothing special just pizza dough cut in sticks instead of wedges with no sauce, plenty of cheese an bacon though for me it was best thing I bought. My wife enjoyed the artichoke dip. The pizza was underwhelming at best. 'I love the environment and was treated well, this place has a lot of potential if they can get some more quality controls for dough and toppings, if your in the craft crust business, then your crust better be amazing especially if you charge a premium price. Could have been a great experience if the Pizza was great. Everybody has a bad day, so I would be willing to give them one more shot, fingers crossed! read more

I have ordered several times from this establishment Togo orders. More times than not, something is wrong with the order, something is left out, and the pizza is always cold. Recently, I ordered the Fried Cauliflower and they left out the garlic aioli dipping sauce. When I called to ask about it they informed me that they no longer serve it with the dipping sauce....odd since the menu states that is what it is served with. read more

Went in for the first time tonight. Restaurant was fairly busy. Hostess went to seat us and another table decided they wanted to move to the table we were about to be seated at. The hostess then proceeded to try and seat us at the table the last guests were at without wiping the mess off the table that they left. It's a shame when a brand new beautiful restaurant would seat a customer at a filthy table. read more

We've been to this location several times since it's been open. The food is always decent. Not great, but decent. The service is always terrible. Waiting 20+ minutes to be greeted after being seated, having to remind the server after 15+ minutes that we haven't received our drinks. Having to ask after 45+ minutes where the heck our food is. And it's just two of us and we don't order much or difficult items. The staff is always apologetic, but they seem clueless like they've had absolutely no training and they don't know much about anything going on. Looking around at how empty the restaurant is on what should be busy times like Friday and Saturday nights, I can only assume that others have had similar experiences. After the service we received this past Friday night, I'm pretty sure it's the last time we'll visit. When our bill is $70+ with tip for two adults, and we leave frustrated over the experience, that tells me it's just not worth it. read more
