Update: Almost a year later and I haven't received a refund for the cancellation of my warranty. I've reported it to the BBB already. This entire company is full of nothing but crooks and liars. My bank is involved now because I wasn't getting through to them and they fed me the good ole, "let me give you a call tomorrow to resolve this" about 10 times. They've now lied to me about a check that was supposedly destroyed by my bank because they couldn't find me in their system...lol. Then they "put one in the mail" well over a week ago and said that it was deposited by my bank. My bank hasn't seen anything from them, asked for photocopies of the check and never received them. So, I guess the last step is going to have to be the legal route. This sorry excuse of a business and their employees disgust me, including the owner. read more

Good and not so good.... we came from out of town to look at a vehicle we saw on car gurus. The customer service was decent, the finance guy is a little arrogant and definitely reminded me of a used car salesman trying to sell you something you didn't need. An employee was driving the vehicle that we were wanting to purchase... There were issues with the car that they should have been aware of since someone WAS driving it. Needless to say we did buy the car, the next day something else went wrong with it. We went back-and-forth with our sales person via text regarding getting it repaired but of course we would have to leave the vehicle and coming from out of town that wasn't the best solution. (AGAIN, these issues should have been taken care of ahead of time.) My husband was able to make the repairs on his own, which was a huge bonus. It took a little while to get our tag and a little pressure, they were a little slow getting that done. They never reimbursed us for parts and they said they would. That was a little disappointing... it was not a huge amount but it's the principle of the matter. So I can honestly say I am not sure that I would recommend. read more

BUYERS BEWARE! They talk the talk, BUT Mr. Polson will not honor his written testimony of ***"for quality vehicles, GUARANTEED"!*** I am a 75 year old, Vietnam Combat Veteran, disabled. I responded to their internet ad for a Toyota FJ. I explained that I'd be coming from Pensacola, FL. Their sales person assured me that this was the "finest, no excuses" FJ ever, because Mr. Polson only purchased the best of the best to sell. Trusting his testimony, I PURCHASED the perfect FJ (with a broken windshield) on April 4, 2020. They promised to replace the windshield as soon as I got home. *** On April 8, 2020, every engine WARNING light came on. I called Andrew Simpson, finance manager, and he assured me that they would take care of it. I took the FJ to a local certified NAPA shop, who diagnosed the engine with MAJOR issues. Sludge from degraded oil, severely damaged the timing chain and ruined the engine. Mr. Simpson ask for internal engine pictures and the diagnoses. Which was provided. After 60 days of talking with excuses, he quit taking my calls. During the interim I tried numerous times to reach Mr. Polson. He would not respond to certified mail. I filed a complaint with the (1) STATE of SOUTH CAROLINA, DMV, LICENSE and AUDIT UNIT. They sent an Agent to investigate my claim. They sighted the company for untimely submission of car title and suggested that they replace the windshield. Had they not intervened, I believe that I'd NEVER got a new windshield! I had to purchase a Toyota used crate engine from Japan. The install required pulling the old motor and transmission. Which cost $7,000.00 dollars, yes SEVEN THOUSAND US DOLLARS. After the $20,000.00 purchase price, I could have purchased a 2020 new car!! NEXT I contacted Mr. Polson's (2)BONDING CO., and called the local (3) police. Then I contacted the (4) MAGISTRATES COURT and was granted a court date in January of 2021! Also, after the fact, I researched the internet and found numerous review complaints against Mr. Polson's business. I understand that the purchase was "as is", however, Mr. Polson being the buyer of only quality cars, should have known that this FJ had problems, I barely made it home in it. And again, in Mr. Polson's own written words, ***"rest assured you can be confident about the QUALITY of our vehicles"***. Any honest businessman would have given me the courtesy of a phone call, and even negotiated a settlement. Well, it is not over yet. And yes I've spoken to an (5) attorney. 1st Air Cav. I wouldn't even give Chris Polson one star but it makes you choose at least one star unfortunately. We bought not one SUV but we bought two SUV's from this unethical place of business. We drove from Charlotte to Columbia to purchase these cars. My husband did the initial paperwork and during the sale process he was told that their cars are in pristine condition and are well checked over before selling them. Far from the truth! The second day of driving one of the SUV's all the dashboard lights came on along with the drivers window not working properly. This all happened the very next day while we were picking up our Grandchild who lives about 45 mins away. We were scared to death to drive it back home. We immediately brought it to our mechanic who found numerous issues with the SUV. I tried to call the manager to tell him of these issues since it was not feasible to drive 1 1/2 hrs back to Columbia. When the manager finally returned my call 3 days later he absolutely refused to work with me at all mind you we had to pay over $500.00 into the SUV the very next day. He refused to even meet with me half way and then when I told him I was going to write a review he HUNG up on me! Please do not do business with this unethical business! read more

I bought a 2006 Tahoe from them. Customer service was great. I'm slightly disappointed with the Tahoe though. Within 2 days the back windows both went out and some of the interior was messing up. They are a great group of people and would surely buy from them again read more

I came in here with my brother while he was looking to buy his new car they had great selection however my brother did not find the car he was looking for the customer service was amazing we went above and beyond to try to locate the car he was looking for unfortunately we weren't able to get the car from this dealership but I would recommend them to anybody. This place doesn't even deserve one star. To keep things short... They LIED, were EXTREMELY rude - including management, and most importantly they sold us a vehicle without proper title work!!! We bought the vehicle in JANUARY and just got the title YESTERDAY (JUNE 5) ! And it took MULTIPLE trips to the Tag Office and MULTIPLE phone calls with the dealership to try and get them to fix THEIR MISTAKE. It has been a NIGHTMARE for 5 MONTHS!!! The sales man was sketchy and rude. The car broke down on Monday after purchasing it on Friday at 5:00. They paid for the tow only to learn that the corroded battery post was the reason for the problems and the car going into "limp mode". The sales man told me to pour a can of coke over it when I asked him about it on the day of purchase. Now...40 days after the purchase with the paper tags still on it, I have yet another tow and repair bill. This time it is because the key that came with the car is the valet key and the car is now in theft mode. When I called them about it Chris, the owner, was extremely rude. He told me it was ridiculous for me to expect them to pay or even help me with the repair cost and then he hung up on me. Even the tow truck driver commented on how many cars he tows with the Chris Poslon paper tag still on them. STAY AWAY! read more
