We'be been good customers until we sold our home and had a seizable refund coming. For some reason that's when they decided to dodge all followup calls from us and anytime I spoke to an office person (Devin) I was lied to. It's been several weeks now and I called to demand an overnight check or direct deposit and was told oh, it's in the refund department. So, for weeks we've been lied to that the check was mailed long before and telling us the call every few days and check our mailbox everyday. I told the office (Devin) I would come pick it up and asked the address to pick it up. Apparently, giving and address is a very difficult task for them. When I finally got the correct office address I see it's my agents office! Seriously. It's one large room where everyone can see each other. No need to send messages or lie about someone in meetings all day. They're all sitting in one room looking at each other. We were going to use them for our new home being built but I wouldn't use them to insure a doghouse.

I later sold one of our other…read morevehicles and although, I paid for a full 6-month policy, they refused to refund my money and said that they would apply a credit to my next bill instead. I asked her office to have Kristi call me as she was my actual agent. It took her 3 days to return my call knowing that she had an unhappy customer. I asked other insurance agents if this was an industry standard and they said no. When I told her that I didn't think it was right for State Farm to keep my money when I was requesting a refund (having never been late with a paym't and ALWAYS paying for the entire 6-month policy) and I told her I was going to take my business somewhere else, she LAUGHED at me. I quickly took both my home and auto elsewhere...and the icing on the cake is that I was able to save a combined $1k on my policies (with better coverage)!

I had a very simple request, and that was to lower my auto insurance premium for (4 cars) my current premium was $328.00 per month through Geico, I explained that the cars had lien holders, Mrs. Ana Johnson Torres stated she would compare and get me a quote this was in September 2019 she sent several emails and text messages that she, in fact, could come in a little lower $288.17 almost ($50.00 that would mean $600.00 per year savings) In December I receive a call from my Bank, stating I didn't have enough coverage on two of the vehicles. Mrs. Ana Johnson Torres had completely changed the coverage I gave her from Geico, Ana placed liability only coverage on two of the vehicles, and the bank assessed me $300.00 each vehicle for 3month totaling $1800.00 and increased my premium to $457.00 and the Agent refuses to take responsibility for her actions I placed several calls to Osualdo Torres, with no response so if you want to save money stay away from these people and their companies mortgages and real estate if they would do this to a senior citizen with stage 3 Colon Cancer where's the "INTEGRITY" I would not recommend this Allstate office to anyone I care about. I was a customer for years, but they were never able to even come close to the auto rate offered by Progressive, but then when an Allstate bundle beat what I was paying for auto at Progressive and homeowners through Suzanne Brown / Texan, that made me decide to leave both of them. My exit was handled very badly, my cancellation document, which I signed and have a copy of, was never sent to the insurer, so weeks later I had to call the insurer directly and get that taken care of myself. But this wasn't the only time, many times in the past I could never get my agent to call me back. I guess she was off chasing big commercial real estate deals, and we private homeowners are too small to care about? Well, the relationship is over now, and I'm glad to have EVERYTHING at one place, where I can look at it one one phone app.
