Okay I don't love giving bad reviews and prefer to focus on what is positive but this was a little rough. First off I loved going to the Jimmy's Egg in Moore and was visiting family so we came to this location. They were friendly while we were greeted and we were seated right away. Our server was nice but a little pushy (about the drinks and prices). Also the wait staff and kitchen staff started shouting at each other over an order loudly in the open kitchen and that was super awkward. A lot of people seemed put off by it. Now for the food. The iced coffees were delicious but the entrees took a very long time and my queso carnita skillet was cold and didn't taste freshly made, like the eggs and hashbrowns weren't cooked to order. My sister did enjoy her waffle and the kids meals seemed fine so maybe I should've ordered something different. Hopefully if we return they have a better day. read more

Last time I was there, wasn't the best experience but thought I would give it a try. The coffee cup had coffee on the outside of it - very careful where I was drinking. The food there seems to have no flavor to it - very bland. The music was playing low when I started eating - then one of the waitresses said it needed to be louder & turned it up - way too loud. There needs to be a manager there who is actually managing. Instead of all the girls hanging out at the cash register talking - they could be cleaning, wouldn't hurt the place. Not at lot of breakfast places to eat in Newcastle - but I will not eat here again. No one seems to care about this place & it shows. read more

There was a smell of cigarettes as soon as we walked in. I thought we walked into a bar for a moment. Most of the booths are torn. The waitress never checked on us outside getting our orders and delivering them to the table. I never got a refill for my drink. The food was tolerable, that's all I can say about it. While waiting for our food I assume a manager started yelling at the staff to take jackets off and put on name tags. My husband and I looked at each other thinking we were in trouble. Their food is good & we've never had a problem with customer service but we never go here because the prices fluctuate too much. Last time I tried to order to go from here, it was going to be almost $20 by myself because they said what I wanted wasn't a meal on their menu so it would all be al'carte. I use to work in the restaurant industry & that was super weird to me. Usually there is a meal you can recommend & then sub something or add something too but they said their wasn't so I didn't order. No offense but if I want to spend $20 by myself, I'd rather go to a fancy brunch place in Norman like Neighborhood Jam or Syrup, versus Jimmy's Egg. read more

I was truly disgusted while picking up my to-go order. I witnessed the lady preparing the to-go orders licking her fingers to open to-go bags and then picking the biscuits and bacon for each order with the same hand. I come here often to meet with family for breakfast. I I had to compare it to another restaurant, it would remind me of a more family owned ihop. The food is good, I love getting the ultimate pancake combo. My husband enjoys getting the spinach omlete. The wait staff are pretty friendly, and the food usually comes out in a decent time. Sometimes, especially weekends, you have to wait. But usually not for more then 15 minutes. They have ample parking, with extra parking in the back. read more

I would have given a no star if it was available, was at the New Castle location the other day, mid-day as I got to a seat at the counter, waitresses didn't see I was there, waiting for service, kind of upsetting happened again. I heard an intense conversation between the two waitresses', the one talking about how some customer had pissed her off so said she spit in their meal, and it was like it was a normal thing to do, and the other waitress commented to her how she did the same thing to a person, like it was an everyday thing. I was discussed because not only from what herd but sometimes I've gotten a little upset from lack of service. now I'm wondering if my meal had been spit into! I will never eat at a jimmy's location ever. thought it best to same something. after reading reviews I can validate the other reviews that, they do touch food with their bare hands, touch their hair ETC and money, so forth. another thing is when they prep silverware there is no gloves being worn so your napkin and silverware already are dirty and you're wiping your mouth. poor management. if you have time read the reviews, read more

We walked in when only 4 tables were occupied and no one ever came to our table. No one greeted us. The servers weren't busy-- in fact they were leaning on the counter chatting with each other. My husband turned over his coffee cup ( which were just turned upside down on the table ). One server walked by twice and never offered to fill his coffee cup. We love to eat at other Locations-- this place isn't the same. Can't say a thing about the food because our order was never taken. After 17 minutes we simply walked out & will never return. The food tasted good. Portion sizes were smaller than other Jimmy's Egg locations we have eaten at. Wait staff was inattentive. The manager kept talking very loudly to the staff. We didn't need to hear her berate the staff for not writing a date on product or to try to figure out who turned the thermostat too low. Today was a better experience than previous experiences at Jimmy's Egg because the food was actually hot! The only downfall was they charged .99 for a small amount of picante sauce. I was surprised, maybe a quarter but .99 for a couple tablespoons of salsa. The waitress should had also told us they charge for that in my opinion because most places don't. So happy Jimmys Egg opened here. The food and service is outstanding. They also support our veterans with a discount. A great place to eat.

10:00 am walk in and it's half empty. Takes at least 10 min to get a table. Wait at table for 20 min and never get checked on. Older couple comes in and wants a booth. We offer ours since they obviously don't want to serve us. That gains no response from server so we leave. read more

Stop if your driving by or close by this restaurant. The pancakes beats IHOP hands down. I had the Caramel Apple ultimate pancake combo. They have others like Bananas Foster too. Now the bacon tasted very fresh and home made. None of this full of fat and no meat on the bacon. read more

This used to be my favorite breakfast place, but it has been going downhill since December. Today was the worst yet. The waitresses were wiping food from the table onto the floor and not sweeping. Our order was not prepared well. We sent three entree items back (under cooked hash browns, onions in an omelette - that was requested without onions, and the pancakes were burned. It took over 30 minutes to get our order initially and another 20 to get the replacement entree items, one of which was still inedible. After all of this, my bill was not discounted. So, I paid my full bill (including tip), politely voiced my displeasure with the manager, and left. We will find another place for our weekly breakfast. Sad! read more

Normally when I go they have excellent service, my coffee is always warm and never goes below half full. Today was completely different. I had to wave someone down just to get our drinks. I still had no idea who our waiter was so once again I was waiving a waitress down to get sugar. When I got my food, my bacon was cold & my eggs weren't cooked all the way. Great casual breakfast, brunch, lunch location. You can count on their consistency in both good service and with the food.

I can get a healthy turkey sandwich with avocado and bacon! On a roll!! With fresh fruit!!! Sign me up! And i will pay 8.29 plus tip for it. It was delicious too! I will say the fruit wasn't ripe but was still cool and refreshing. 4 and a half stars! read more
