Honestly one of the worst Jimmy John's experiences I've had. The employees were extremely rude and loud -- not while we were ordering, but when calling out orders and yelling at other customers. The energy inside was just chaotic and uncomfortable. They also tried to upsell me on a standard drink when I clearly just asked for a cup of water. The sandwich itself was actually good, but at that point it barely made up for the whole experience. Then, to top it all off, I had to eat my sandwich in my car... and so did the guy parked next to me. Absolute madness. read more

Freaky, but not fast. Two bad experiences. First. We got them catered. 1, they didnt bring us what we ordered and the delivery guy didnt want to go back to the store and bring it to us. 2. Thwy mixed tuna sandwiches on the same tray as regular. Fish allergies anyone? Second, I ordered online to skip the hassle of waiting to order when I arrived. Big mistake. Not only is it not faster than just showing up, they literally make you verify upon verify that its yours. Took almost 5 minutes of standing around awkwardly until they figured it out, and even then the manager (who wasnt wearing a hat or hairnet) was rude in explaining it to me. The customer service here is amazing! I was lucky enough to be served by the manager. I told her my brother is gluten-free for medical reasons and she went above and beyond to find GF options for him. I ate an amazing vegetarian sandwich which was amazing! Thank you Jimmy Johns!! read more

Awful!!!!! the sandwiches are small, the price is large. I asked for extra onions on my sandwich, I was able to painfully peer around the corner to see the sandwich maker put 4 onions on my sandwich, he asked if that was enough? That wouldn't have been enough normally, I asked for EXTRA. (Would have paid for them, too if they asked.) He put about 3 or 4 more and said that was all he had, he would need to slice more if I wanted any extra. Well Skippy, it was only 6pm, I was fairly certain I was not going to be the last customer of the night, slice some more! But I said fine, whatever. Already had in my mind I wouldn't be venturing back, ever. When I tried the "sub" at home, it cemented in my mind I would never go back. Also after eating the sub I thought well, maybe it's a good thing I didn't tell him to slice more, I can't imagine many people go there. I'm from NJ originally, we made the sub sandwich what it is. If something that small, that tasteless would be served there, they would be run out of town on a rail! Also, pre-sliced meat?!?!?! Really!!! Meat should be sliced per sandwich as ordered. Staggeringly rude employees when I went. This was the worst Jimmy John's experience I've ever had. Additionally, I paid online ahead of time for a pickup order and they made me wait in line for 10 minutes just so I could sign for it. In addition, many aspects of the order were wrong. Toppings we requested were not included on the sandwich and the sandwiches also weren't cut in half, even though these options were all clearly outlined in our online order. Jimmy Johns is a national chain of Sub sandwich shops, so the food is more or less the same at all locations, with minor variances. The staff at this location are friendly for the most part. When you enter, they all utter a "Hello" or "How are you today?" some genuine sounding, others sounding forced. They have never been rude, but the enthusiasm definitely changes with which shift is working. Overall an okay place to go in and grab a sandwich. read more

Most JJ are all the same, its a chain, so the the quality of the food is basically the same.....what stands out is the customer service. I know JJ is supposed to be fast, but this place is really fast...they want to get started on you sub before you even know you want a sub. I have never had a problem with CS here....if anything, I think they are great....sometimes i will order on my phone from the parking lot, and the sub is ready before I even walk in the door. If you have less than 5 min to grab lunch and you are not interested in BK or McD's then JJ is the place to go. read more

Worse experience ever. I bought two subs and waited for my order. Found out my order went to another customer. The employees yelled at me and said grab my subs back from the other customer...then two minutes later the employees asked to see my subs and dung through them to make sure they were mine. Then handed them back to me and expected me to eat them. Very rude service and no one knew the meaning of customer service!! Never again! read more

Ordered online at 8:45 pm. Almost a whole hour goes by and I haven't heard anyone at the door or no phone call. I decide to call and they tell me "well nobody wanted to answer the door so your food is outside" I asked if they had a cell phone they could've called and said they were out there. I was rudely told that not everyone can afford a cell phone and was hung up on! They could of at least called when they made it back to the store and said sorry we knocked an left food there. It took a whole hour and for ME to call to see if my order left to even get an update! Even after leaving a tip on my credit card! I will be calling cooperate. NO SPROUTS!!! It's the whole reason I go to jimmy johns!!! And it took longer then I'm used to when I get JJ. Just wasn't the same. I need my sprouts. They said it was owner discretion. That's fine. I won't be going back. They were nice enough staff though even when I was very unhappy and complained about no sprouts. So kudos for being good staff. Oh how I miss my sprouts. read more

I like Jimmy John's. I think the subs taste great. This particular location has always done a good job at being quick to make my order. My only complaint is that the price is high vs. Subway just down the street. As a result, I do tend to visit Subway more often. read more

I've ordered from here more than one time and the woman (women) I spoke with was very short and rude! I will be taking my business elsewhere! I work for a large company FME and I'll be sure to let everyone else know how I was treated and theirs times where we place large orders I hope to stop that! The food is decent but the customer service is awful! Also "Freaky Fast" that should be changed to "Freaky Rude" they aren't very fast at all I work 2.3 miles away exactly and they couldn't get here in 30-45min. JJ's samdwiches are good wherever you go. So they really only differentiate on service at each location. The service at this location was rude. I have never been bossed around by staff at a restaurant like I was here. Had multiple people barking out how order was wrong...that's not a number 12, that's a number 13 on wheat. They didn't ask us which type of bread we wanted, as the menu suggests, they assumed and then acted indifferent when we were confused by receiving French not wheat bread. With each departing customer, they shouted a sharp "have a nice day," and seemed like they couldn't have meant it less. If you are planning on catering your next business meeting, DO NOT use Jimmy John's in Beloit, WI! I am a supervisor at a local bank in Beloit, WI. and we decided to cater from Jimmy John's last night. That was a huge mistake and we will never order from them again. Not only did they not have our order ready at all, but when we got back and started to eat, we realized that we didn't get 4 out of our 12 cookies, the sandwiches were soggy, and half of the sandwiches had little to no meat. We called the next day to complain to the manager and she said we were liars and she was not going to do anything for us. We then proceeded to call the general manager and he said he couldn't do anything for us except make a phone call to the store. I have worked in customer service for 15 years and this would have been totally unacceptable. So if you want soggy sandwiches, sandwiches with little or no meat, and pay full price, then get called a liar by the manager, then head on down to Jimmy John's, where your customer service is down right awful! read more
