I always order from this place thinking, "They will do better" but ALWAYS fail... I order online and they fail to cut our sandwiches in half even though we state it every. single. damn. time. (Never have done this!) It's not that hard, I am a server and honestly it's embarrassing that they fail to follow SIMPLE instructions! It's not the first, seconds, third, nor 10th time this has happened, it's a simple request! Please READ and do better! I still tip as the DRIVER did not do anything wrong but the others... Jimmy Johns in town has always been a fast way to get a well crafted sub. That is until whomever they have working as of August, 2021 started. I have contacted the manager with no avail, and yes, I'm probably being bitchy but - I waited 9 minutes in the drive through for two subs and I was the only one. I have been coming back out of pure curiosity just to see if they get any more efficient. The girl at the register is seemingly stoned, as I also had to drive past the window to get their attention on the drive through. "Yeah I forgot to put the headset on" she says. Every time Ive had this young girl working I am left waiting and stared at by the other worker until she comes back into frame. I damn near grew a beard waiting in line. Freaky slow. Living in Buffalo I've been ordering delivery from this JJ for years. Trapped at home today with the kids finally napping I ordered my usual sandwich. A few min later a polite, friendly man called and explained to me (in a cheerful tone) that I am apparently not in their delivery area, but no worries, I can come pick it up or it won't be a problem to cancel it for me. I understand that they are running a business but the cheerful attitude when informing regular customers in a small town that they won't be serving them anymore is a bit ridiculous. This is the worst Jimmy Johns location I have ever been to. Their drive thru intercoms have not been working for months now so drive thru is either not being accepted or you have to order at the window. I bet you think that doing one order at a time in the drive thru would be slowing them down? Wrong. So, you skip the drive thru and walk inside to carry out. You are then greeted with 7-10 people just blankly staring at you without saying a word. Finally one of the lower ranks finishes their conversation then walks to the register. Order. Never asked if I'd like to have my receipt. Afterwards, you just stand there and listen to their god awful conversations and they almost hand you your order then pull back only to realize the order was for the drive thru and walk away without a word. You final get handed your sub and you walk out, raise your sunglasses to your eyes, saying to yourself, " what the f*ck just happened." read more

I only eat in here so I don't know about their delivery. It's always been reliable, decent customer service and I've never had an incorrect order with them. I have a daughter with Celiac disease so the Unwhich option is great and the staff always prepared it separate and with care. The Vito is my jam. read more

Two stars, but don't get the wrong idea. This is still the best fast food place in Buffalo, which is a testament to Jimmy John's as a franchise. I am saying that this Jimmie's has pretty bad customer service. I wouldn't blame them for mixing up sweet and unsweetened tea, but just this previous time I asked John point blank if there was no sugar and he said yes. My wording might have been ambiguous, but the was no pause for clarification, which I will call him out on. That and the fact that guac was forgotten on my #12 forced a second coming into the store (the first being to replace the tea, the second after waiting to get back on the road to take a bite) has inspired my first review. I used to work fast food and what I learned my my year and a half there is that work is what you make it. My best days came from seeing the customer leave with a smile. You don't have to actually give a single care for the customer, but building up that air of positivity creates an enjoyable environment which customers do look for, but more importantly for you. Makes long days of kicking ass and taking orders a little bit more bearable. Making the food was my favorite part of the job. Just day in and day out perfecting the craft, building the brand. I aimed to make the best burgers and I feel I did. And to see my hands become skilled instruments, man that's what fueled my fire. I pick up jimmy johns's sandwiches for our family at least once a week. Lately, it seems that the orders never seem to be correct. In fact, a couple weeks back they decided to use lettuce for a sandwich instead of bread. We called in as soon as we got home and realized the mistake, and the manager issued us a credit under our phone number. When returning to the restaurant today, they said that there was no credit issued under that number, and that was it. We had to wait an additional 15 minutes to get our sandwiches at full price- Keep in mind, we were the ONLY ones in line. The customer service is horrendous, and the company needs to think up a new motto because "freaky fast" is definitely not it. read more

I've had sandwiches from this location about four times now. My husband always picks it up for me. Today was my first time inside this location. The young man behind the register was new and training, the people with him were doing an excellent job teaching him and helping us. So I guess customer service was great. The sand which is just so so. I got the tuna one. I think I'm just not a fan of the bread because it's hard to bite off, but it does taste okay... but like a meh kind of okay. read more

I brought my daughter here for the first time as she has a food allergy and allergens weren't posted on JJ's website until recently. She wanted roast beef with cucumbers that's it, and there was no line and there was a small group of guys that left shortly after we arrived. We took it to go as I'm a single parent working 50 hour weeks so I have to get home to do housework. Got home my daughter said they put lettuce and tomatoes on her sandwich. Also was almost $22 for two meals! Won't return here Subway is cheaper, way more options, better bread, and has never screwed up our orders! The management and area management don't know what customer service is all about or haven't been trained properly. Twice in the past 10 months we pre-ordered 30 big sandwiches, plain, just meat and cheese. Both times they added all the condiments and you don't realize it until you open it. The sandwiches usually don't come out until later in the evening, which means they get soggy, that's why we order them plain. Back to poor service, after the last mistake I called the store explained their mistake and the female manager said she would credit my account. After 5 days and no credit I called and spoke to her again, she said she would call me back that night with the credit, she never called me back. I called the next day, got a different manager, he told me to talk to the area manager and gave me his number, he gave me the number to a different JJ's store. Called back and he told me that's the phone number the female manager gave him. Again more mistakes or I don't care about customers or she's an idiot ( you decide). I was told the area manager would be calling me, still have not heard from him. He is also the one that told the male store manager that my account has been credited, I hate liars. I will never return to this location. I ordered a couple of slim sandwiches in which I then added double meat and cheese. We get home and they are made wrong. My boyfriend calls and lets them know and they offered a $10 credit to his phone number. Not to come back and they will make us new ones the right way or anything but a credit. Now I already spent $17 and a drive to get these sandwich's and I was furious. So I called back myself since it was my money wasted and I was trying to explain to the manager what happened and he hangs up on me. Usually I can admit when I'm an ass but I was pretty nice and calm for as mad as I was. I proceeded to call back twice with no answer so I called from my own cell phone and finally someone else answers. I say I will be reporting your manager to corporate then suddenly this mystery man wants to know what's wrong and what he could do, I told him I want a refund and I will bring everything I purchased back. When I got there this so called manager did not know how to refund anything so I had to wait for them to get ahold of a higher up. In that time he offers to make me new food now since he can't refund my money. Thank god the GM called back in which the manager stated I supposedly got wrong sandwiches and want a refund. I didn't supposedly get anything. They were made incorrect, customer service was terrible, manager was unprofessional as hell over the phone. In store they handled it a lot better although the irritation and snootiness could of been taken back a little because it was my money spent on food that wasn't made right and after multiple times of having pretty good experience there after this I didn't want a credit, I wanted a refund so I didn't have to return to spend more money on something they should of offered to fix in the first place.
