Possibly the slowest jimmy johns I have ever been to and also the most stale bread. Unfortunately it's the closest to my house.

Everyone here is friendly! Jimmy johns has become very expensive however. $9.56 for a sub chips and a drink. Ridiculous. But addicting!

Seems I'll still be looking…read more The sandwiches here are way above average in comparison to most local places, but they do have a sort of "I could have made this myself" taste to a lot of them. I mean, some have shredded cheese on them. I could have just brought my own and asked for a discount. The quality is overall great, however. Amazing clubs, average subs, good chili, amazing coleslaw, deeply disappointing salads. It's hit and miss, but nothing is actively bad. Service is okay. Given that this place is only open for a sliver of time every day I'd expect it to be a little more functional and friendly. Seems scrappy and panicked, even when there's only a few customers. No online ordering, but things are made pretty quickly. Definitely call ahead if you can't wait. You'll be there 5+ minutes per customer ahead of you. Everyone feels like they just started working there, but do well enough. The location is ideal for being in a downtown area. Parking lot just outside, and more spots on the nearby parallel street. Plenty of seating. Cool business card holder in front. Decor is to be hoped for, though. Low brow toxic positivity and sexism isn't my jam, but to each their own. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to enjoy your meal, everything hits the spot. What really makes the experience stand out, though, is the staff. Landon deserves a special shoutout--he's friendly, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. His great attitude and work ethic elevate the whole place and turn a good meal into a great experience.

The store is always clean, well-stocked, and has a great selection, but what really sets it apart is the people behind it. Marvin, the owner, is one of the most genuine and hardworking people you'll meet. He clearly takes pride in his store and in serving the Canton community. You can tell he cares about the customers and the neighborhood, and that kind of leadership shows throughout the entire place. His sons and the rest of the staff are just as friendly and helpful. Everyone greets you with a smile and makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. It's the kind of place where you're treated like a neighbor rather than just another customer. Marvin also does a lot for the community, which makes supporting this business feel even better. It's great to see a local owner giving back and building something positive for Canton. If you're in the area and haven't stopped by Eastern Market of Canton yet, you're missing out. Great store, great people, and a great example of what a community business should be.

They brought the brisket up to the front counter for me to purchase. I am used to picking out my own meat and specifically looking at the sell by date so I just didn't think of it with this process. When I got home I noticed the sell by date was the very day I purchased this large roast. No one even mentioned this fact Or explained anything In regards to the sell by date. I am not planning on cooking the roast for several days Which will be this coming weekend. i did call and they assured me that the brisket would be fine for the weekend, but the point is that I would never have bought it if I knew or saw the sale by date. Perhaps if the butcher would have explained it initially, I would have been more comfortable. It was a very bad first experience and I will never go back.
