(Lower left line) Yes, because threatening customers will make their attitudes great.

This is probably the best sub shop in Michigan, although that's only because the others aren't really worth going to. Is it actually good, then? Actually, yes! The Italian subs here are plentiful and filling with a fair enough presentation and taste. You won't find any frills. Bread, meats, cheese, and some vegetables, slathered in sauce. That's the appeal, and why it's good. But, this style does have a limiting factor in that it caps early. The Italian sausage sub is also pretty good. They claim it's "spiced just right," and unlike other places, they actually deliver on that. Pasta salad is okay - worth getting if you're into it, but not if you wouldn't otherwise want any. Service is straightforward and streamlined. Overtly friendly with an assembly line feel, which droves of working men flock to. Cash is king. Seems to be an unspoken practice that you don't pay change if you give a higher bill than your total, and give an automatic tip if you round up to the next number. Watch for this if it matters to you. Location is inconvenient, unless you're airport traffic. You'll loop through a maze of roads to get here as a local depending on what way you're coming from. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool open area, though, with some low hanging planes every now and again. A long counter to sit at inside and some benches outside. Small and beat up parking lot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the business card wall and down-to-earth feel of the joint.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's no reason not to stop in here every now and again, whether you're a local or from out of town. Cheap filling food and a unique enough area and establishment to distract you from life for a while. Location: 3* Convenience: 3* Service: 3* Product/quality: 3* Aesthetics: 4*

Landed in Detroit the other day, picked up the rental car, and headed straight to Vinnie's for a 10/2 sub--it's my tradition! Pulled into the shop during a busy lunch rush, with a line seven deep. In just four minutes, I was at the counter ordering. This place runs like a well-oiled machine, churning out the best subs around in a cool Mom & Pop sub shop! In no hurry, so I settled at the counter with my sub, a Vernors, and a bag of Better Made chips. Vinnie's is always my first stop in town, and it never disappoints!

This place was the best surprise coming from the airport! Nothing like a nice delicious sub after a long day of travel! I had the turkey Swiss and my mom had the Italian! The service was incredible, we adored the people that run this place. Get yourself a diet vernors, a bag of chips and it will cost ya practically nothing! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We ate inside and it made our entire day![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Highly recommended old school sub shop. Delicious and a great value. I'd give it more stars if I could.

East coaster here. You know we LNOW and live our Italian food and it's very difficult to find GOOD food outside of the NJ/ NY area. Let me tell you though. binned has been approved by a certified East coast Italian! I had the Italian sausage. Perfectly spiced not too hot, but just enough of heat to have flavor. Looks like I got a new SANGWICH spot. Thanks Vinnes!

Vinnies trademark?

Coming back from the airport I wanted to try Vinnies as I am always up for finding the best subs around. Vinnies did not disappoint. Being familiar with buying subs by layers at other awesome sub shops i was expecting a lot. And a lot i did get. I believe i got the 12 and 2 layer and it was so good and reasonable priced where anything equivalent at a big chain would be ridiculously overpriced. I was greeted immediately and ordering was simple and i had my sub within 3 minutes. I was going to buy and run but i just had to dive into the sub. Sub/ dive. Get it? Only drawback is i hardly ever am in the area so it might be months or even years before i get back. But as Arnold once said. I'll be ....

This place is great with reasonable prices. It's a true mom and pop diner. I miss places like this…read morein Hawaii. It's my second time dining here. We ordered the mini breakfast with one egg, two slices of bacon and hash browns $4.95. We also got the corned beef hash with two eggs, toast & jelly $8.50. For the side orders we got a bowl of grits $3.50 and three piece pancakes $6.95. We washed it down with a coffee $3.50 and orange juice $3.95. Everything was good. Honestly, it's kind of hard to mess up breakfast items. The pancakes were huge and fluffy. It was my third time having grits and it's still meh to me. It's kind of like oatmeal, but more grainy. My hubby added butter and sugar to it. They also sell sandwiches, burgers, salads and a whole bunch of dinner entrees.

It was no hello, hi, how are you... just takeout or dining in and when I mentioned dining in, she wasn't too thrilled. So we chose our booth and sat down. The waitress attitude at the beginning was not welcoming at all. To the point where my nephew that is 6yrs old asked, whats wrong with her. We placed our order and when the food arrived, all of us where excited. The food looked and tasted great. Hats off to the chef. We had a table full of pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, and drinks. By time we were ready to go, the waitress seemed in a better mood. Maybe she was having a rough start to her day. I commented on her earrings to make her smile. Although the experience wasn't the best initially, we all have "off" days and i wont hold it against them. The food is delicious and I will be back.

I rolled the dice and gave it a try. Best move ever. Great food quality and professional service. Fair prices too. Soprano-like vibe on the inside, dark lighting, big booths and tables, bad art, Sinatra music, Italian hairdos, the whole badda-boom badda-bing thing. Super clean bathrooms too. OMG the food! Delicious bread and butter, olive oil on the table, fresh salads (best blue cheese dressing ever), delicious Caprese salad full of balsamic-basil flavors, awesome mussels with garlic and oil sauce (sopped up with fresh bread), fresh made egg-cream sauce on the decadent spaghetti carbonara. Great hot coffee and a homemade cannoli for desert. Well made bar drinks too. I left completely satisfied. Perfect pit-stop for hungry travelers waiting for rush hour traffic to clear. My first choice for post-flight dining. Salute!

Seating was set up when we arrived and our waitress was friendly and very efficient! We had 8 separate checks and she did a great job matching up players w/parents. Food was incredible. Hot rolls were delivered to the table prior to our apps/salads and they were soo fresh. I ordered the Flat Iron Portabella appetizer as my dinner with a side salad. The steak was tender and the gravy was amazing. My husband ordered the chicken Parmesan with palomino sauce and he loved it. Everyone raved about their meal, the service was amazing and it was a perfect evening after a long day of volleyball! Highly recommend!
