Food- overall the wrap was good. The ingredients are fresh, standard crispy chicken, there was enough sauce... the only thing I would add is maybe add additional meat. Meat to wrap ratio isn't proportionate... so it leaves your end of the wrap without meat. Service- I ordered through the app so I can't judge person to person other than it was curbside and the guy who delivered was nice. So no bad comments. Ambiance- Again curbside but from the car window it looked busy so it's gotta be a little inviting. I'd recommend. I also tried a wrap. I usually get a Turkey Tom and keep it pretty basic. I love Jimmy John's and this location is no exception! I've said it before and I'll say it again, Jimmy John's has legit subs. These are real NY / NJ subs. Dressed with shredded iceberg, onion, tomato, hot peppers and oil & vinegar, the Italian Night is always my favorite. The combo of ham, capicola, salami and provolone is a home run! The other sandwiches are good, too, but when I go to Jimmy John's I am there because I'm craving an Italian sub. Grew up in NJ where there was a sub and pizza place on every corner and they were all fantastic! Not the case in Portland which is why I'm grateful for Jimmy John's. I've only been to a Jimmy John's once before and recalled thinking they were just okay. We're just outside the one mile delivery zone so we have to pick up. The reason we came was because we had free Little John's. On those I would say they're actually a little bigger than expected by the price. We were thinking we'd get those for a small lunch and just order regular sandwiches for dinner. One plus for me is they have a rewards program. I may never actually earn anything, but for people who actually come here very often that's a nice perk. We took advantage of their free side promo, but we did have to place a second order to get it (one for free sandwich and another for paid sandwich and free side). Who am I to pass on free food? Chips, cookies, and pickles were their sides, so basic options. As far as the sandwiches go I would expect a lot more for the price. We even got the me expensive ones with double meat. There was not much meat to speak of so I assume the standard has a single layer of any given deli meat. I got that because my cats love deli meat and I knew they'd pester me. An average sandwich from anywhere else usually gives me plenty to share. Double meat here want even enough for the sandwich. I also had avocado on mine but I couldn't tell. Just seemed like a lot of lettuce really. My partner got one with bacon and I tried his. One thing I'll give them is their bacon has lots of flavor. Overall not really impressed. I could see getting it if it's either the only thing around or you're close enough for delivery and really want a sandwich. At that I'd suggest getting multiple Little John's and skip the big sandwich and get more food and still save money. read more

I ordered online because I figured there was a lunch rush between 12-1pm. Ordered at 12:35, they received it at 12:37 and I picked it up at 12:45 with no issues. My wife went in there to grab a couple sandwiches for us. As she waited for them to be prepped, she watched as multiple employees walked around the food prep area unmasked and talking to each other. One appeared to be a manager ( as she wasn't wearing the customary t-shirt). For several years I have been going to this Jimmy John's at least three times a week at 8:30 or 8:40 in the morning. Today the kid that was working told me he could not serve me because they were not open till 9 o'clock. If they were not open why was the door unlocked for me to come in. Then I asked for his managers name the kid tried telling me he was the manager I told him that he was a shift leader he didn't even understand what that meant. On this particular visit, it was gross, disgusting and disappointing. Upon entrance to this establishment in clackamas, there was an overpowering pungent odor in the dining area next to the cashier. On most occasions, we enjoy our dining experience. But this time there was a homeless person dining in. I don't have a problem with the homeless, but this person didn't have shoes on, and really smelled bad. My grandkids said it smelled worse than an outhouse. It was terrible. The manager was sitting and eating while the employees were visibly gagging behind the counter. When the man left, the worker extensively sprayed the area, wiped the table and threw the paper towels on the full trash can next to the prepare station. I saw it with my own eyes. The employees were visibly rolling their eyes, and their obvious body language was of disgust. During this whole ordeal, two of the employees took turns going outside for fresh air. The dining area still smelled like a plugged up gas station bathroom. Shame on the manager who allowed this to happen. If I was the manager on duty, I would've respectfully asked the patron to please wait outside with a courteous explanation of why he could not dine in. I would've had the heart to make his food and give it to him "on the house", for the inconvenience. To the manager, by not acting professionally, your site lost more than a half dozen customers. Did you ask yourself why patrons were coming in and leaving without ordering, because of the stench? Making a dollar, at the expense of your regular customers is unacceptable. read more

I called the the shop and was told "oh, we don't have any drivers tonight so I canceled your order."The employee claimed to have called me twice to let me know. Nice young man at the counter took my order and after I told him I wasn't all that familiar with their system, he said, "Would u like any of the free additions to your sandwich?" But Jimmy Johns delivers, when I go in the service is so much quick and they also do a lettuce wrap instead of bread and Subway only offers a salad instead of bread. I am so disappointed with the service I received. I called about 30 minutes after putting in my order to notice that it still hadn't been on its way so I just asked for an update or an estimated time and the man told me it would be about 20 minutes. I called back 25 minutes later just for another update as I am very hungry and it's very hot out and he said that it still hasn't left so I asked to cancel my order. an hour wait for something that's five minutes away from me is a bit ridiculous. We were getting hungry for lunch and didn't feel like cooking. We chose Jimmy John's because it was close and not fried. The fact that they had online ordering made it all that much better. The online ordering process was simple, while still allowing you to fully customize your sandwiches. I ordered the Vito with extra meat and my husband ordered the Country Club and added onions, bacon, mustard, and avocado. Both sandwiches tasted amazing and were enough for two meals each. We also each got a delicious bag of their kettle style chips, which were totally worth the little extra. We also opted for having it delivered. We were skeptical of having it delivered because we were starving and didn't want to wait, but holy crap was it quick. It took them less time to deliver our food than it would have taken me to get in the car, drive down there, and drive back. Not only was it quick, but after the guy who delivered our food literally ran back down the stairs after finishing up with us. Both orders were exactly what I had requested - down to "EZ lettuce" and "Xtra onions." The bread was fresh, the meat was generous, and the provolone sliced thin but 2 pieces. My coworkers and I have collective ordered and picked up food from this location at least 10 times so we have a lot of business to offer. Time and time again our online orders come back missing items, especially when ordering extras like chips or a soda (person picking up isn't always checking every single order). This time we still came back missing a pickle, and with many people getting a totally different sandwich. Unfortunately it wasn't just that they were mixed up so we were stuck trying to eat the mistakes. I'm really tired of getting a vito slobbered in mayo...WHY? Not to mention everything else about it was wrong, had items on it that I didn't want, and was missing the peppers I asked for as well...but they remembered to cut it in half! I'm in love with this place! They do have freaky fast delivery and whenever you call they call you by name and you never have to tell them your address or info they keep it all on file. I've never had any issues with this location they know me well at this point! I have done pick up and delivery from there and it's always good food, fast service and pleasant customer service. The subs are delish and so much better than subway- which use to be my staple. The french bread is so good I could any sandwich if it was in that bread.
