An excellent experience at this JJ's location. Employees were very friendly, calling out a welcoming greeting as I entered. Usually I love Jimmy John's for the fresh ingredients and tasty light bread. We stopped today for quick bite at this location in Columbus. The service was great and the dining room was clean, as always. But the sandwich was a disappointment. I ordered the tuna with lettuce and tomato. The sandwich came out quickly. The bread seemed undercooked and tasty doughy. The top was white with not the usual golden brown top. There was hardly any tuna on the sandwich. Just a boatload of lettuce and tiny pieces of tomato. I thought I'd reviewed this location before but I guess I haven't. This is by far the best Jimmy John's location I know of. (Sorry other Columbus jimmy John's and all the other jimmy johns) so we've used this Jimmy John's a couple times to cater some work events. They have always been super helpful, always freaky fast, and never have had any problems. I don't know if he still works there but I specifically remember somebody named Tyler helping out a lot a couple of times. Also, at one of our office locations, we are outside of their delivery range. But when I was in a pickle and needed to feed some hungry subcontractors, they called me back and said hey will help you out what's the address? And saved the day lol. Normally I love Jimmy Johns, but not impressed that I placed an order on the app for pickup and they never texted that it was ready. Sandwich had barely any lettuce, bread was flat, and crappy tomato ends. They weren't busy. Plus employees wouldn't even look at me. I had to say something to get their attention. When I first moved to Columbus 6 years ago, one of the things I wished Cbus had was a Jimmy Johns. Now that wish has come true. This JJ's is just like every other JJ's. Fast service in the restaurant, a bunch of dumb signs on the wall, delivery within a 5mile radius, delicious sandwiches, chips that are more addictive than crack. I've been to this location a number of times. Despite always being busy at lunch, I've always received fast and friendly service. Food is always good. Employees are always working hard, including frequently cleaning tables, windows, restocking shelves, making food. I've never been to a Jimmy John's, Very clean and nice open concept. The people greeting you and taking your orders are very friendly. Oh the sandwich you ask? I was so overwhelmed, I just ordered what the guy in front of me ordered to keep the line moving, lol. Love this location. I order from here frequently for lunch and the food is always great, my custom orders are always right and the drivers are super friendly. Can't recommend it enough! They really do live up to the Freaky Fast reputation too. I've had sandwiches delivered (across town nonetheless) in under 10 min. Easily the grossest Jimmy Johns I've ever been to. Walking in the door, was a terrible smell. Sandwich counter was a mess, lettuce and ingredients all over the place and on the floor. Sandwich came, bread was stale (so don't they bake every day??), and the lettuce was brown and wilty. Bathrooms were disgusting as well, total mess, garbage overflowing, toilet hadn't been cleaned. Everyone else is saying they have great service! Are you kidding me? I must have caught them on a bad day. I went to Jimmy John's a little late, I didn't know their hours but figured they were open until 10:00pm. When I drove up no one was inside and I could see they were cleaning. I kind of figured they were closed but thought, "it won't hurt to ask". I walked to the door (just planning on opening it and asking real quick) and as I was about 5 feet from the door, one of the workers ran to the door, didn't look at me, and locked the door. Are you fucking kidding me? The only thing that would have made it worse is if he had flipped me off. I have worked in customer service, I have dealt with customers that didn't know we were closed. That is not the correct way to deal with it. First of all Jimmy John's, put your hours on the door. Second of all, get some customer service training. And lastly, have the respect to at least open the door and say, "Sorry, we're closed". Or, ya know, lock the door before you start cleaning so you don't piss someone else off you dumb pieces of shit. read more

Jimmy John's is a fairly newer restaurants here in Columbus. There are two locations and they are both owned by the same person. As soon as you walk in you are greeted happily and quickly! After you order, the food is prepared quicker than you can even go and fill your drink from the fountain machine!! The only problem that I have with these two locations in Columbus, is that they do not honor and carry alfalfa sprouts for their sandwiches. Oh Most Jimmy John's do. I have called the franchise and they said that it is up to the owner's discretion since they buy out the name through the franchise. When I asked the manager about this, he said it was a health risk and didn't want to carry them. When Jimmy Johns first opened at the 46 west location, they carried alfalfa sprouts. Then there was an alfalfa sprout shortage worldwide and they never got them back after that. They had them maybe 6 months. Bring them back & I will give 5 stars. read more

I have ordered Jimmy Johns many many times from this store. I have noticed it was starting to go downhill. Today was the finale straw for me. First, it took 45 mins to get the order ( so much for freaky fast) second, when the delivery guy got here I walked out and he smelled like a skunk. I looked at him and he was stoned and had spilled my drink all over the counter top. Lastly, and the final straw for me was my sandwich had a little piece of ham and bacon on it.
