Their dining rooms are always welcoming and a comfortable place to eat your meal. They afford more privacy than most places too. Service was very fast all around. I was greeted immediately upon walking through the door. My server, Jennifer, was super attentive. All of the food arrived quickly. I ordered the Admiral's Feast which is Walt's Favorite Shrimp, Wild-Caught Flounder, Clam Strips and Bay Scallops, all fried to a golden-brown. For the two sides, I went with the Steamed Broccoli and the Coleslaw. I am a big time fan of shrimp and have been for years but today the clam strips were the number one item on this huge seafood platter. They were cooked perfectly and tasted awesome! I could have easily ate a second portion of them before devouring everything else. Every fried item was good. They had a light and crunchy breading that tasted pretty good. The steamed broccoli was superb with its generous buttery coating. The coleslaw portion was huge; way more than I could eat but a nice compliment to the large meal I ordered. I did not taste the complimentary bread on the table. For dessert I ordered the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake. The whipped cream topping had shavings of the vanilla beans. I don't recall seeing that before and I think it made the vanilla flavor stand out even more. Vanilla is my favorite flavor and this dessert hit the spot. The restrooms were clean with auto motion flushing. Parking was plentiful in their private lot. The lobsters were living in clean water in the lobby aquarium ;-)

We were greeted before we even walked in the door by one of the owners. He told us the lore of the restaurant and how they came to open up the spot down here in Columbus 10 years ago. He walked us in and offered us suggestions. Chicken was crispy with nice flavour. For us, the best entree was the fried fish, homemade tartar sauce. But what was exceptional was the greens and mac & cheese. The greens were so tender with bits of stewed meat in it, and the Mac & cheese was so uniquely seasoned. Blew me away how good these dishes were. We will absolutely be back. Even if the food wasn't good ( however it was excellent). The service, friendly atmosphere and proximity to the neighborhood will keep us coming.

It was fairly busy when we went on a Saturday mid afternoon. We were seated quickly. The atmosphere and decor reminds me quite a bit of Cheddars. When we sat down, there was some kind of an annoying and audible hum coming from the ceiling. It would randomly go on and off. Our server told us that it had to do with their sound/speaker system. The place had a fairly high noise level anyway, along with the music that they were playing. Our server was very friendly and helpful in navigating the menu and answering questions. She went above and beyond being highly attentive in keeping up with all of her tables. The food was above par and very good, quality and quantity wise. We tried a few chicken entrees and they were great. The fried mushrooms were super good. I noticed somebody in the Yelp reviews compared them to Chili's. My opinion is that there is no comparison. I went to Chili's recently and I think ACG is far better. Our experience was very pleasant, and I would definitely go again.
