    Freaky fast?
    Crystal K.

Ordered food using app at 12:25, app is showing sandwich is still being made at 1:10 so I called the store. Explained I placed an online order just wanted to make sure they received it. He tells me yes we got it, your order has been ready but we are waiting for the delivery driver to come back to the store. I asked how long that might be he said I don't know ma'am, have a nice day ‍ definitely not freaky fast and I'm thinking I should have just went to get food that I really wanted and not settled for something deliverable. Never again Jimmy Johns.

Photo of delivery status, at time of posting it is 1919, so almost a full hour and a half post order.

I am very for giving businesses the benefit of the doubt, and perhaps this store is hard up against the labor shortage right now. But this is not the first time I have had to wait a fairly large amount of time for a few cold cuts. I know that a few businesses in my area have been giving their delivery business to DoorDash and GrubHub... Which I hope is not the case here because the delivery apps are nails in a business' coffin. The quality of the product is usually great (on par for a chain sandwich shop) but you can't promise "subs so fast you'll freak" and take one to two hours to deliver. Nah, I am just freaking out that I ordered something for the family and now have to scramble to cook something before bedtime for the kids. Unfortunate that this is probably caused by staffing but a review is a review and I am not satisfied anymore. I hope it gets better!

    Hard bread

Bread was very hard. Disappointed because that's the main reason we go to Jimmy johns over competitors

Terrible customer service. Do not recommend. Messed up my sandwich and didn't do anything about it.

My usual order is the Reuben on rye with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss, and Russian dressing. It's always my go-to and never disappoints. I also recently tried the State & Main on rye with corned beef, pastrami, and coleslaw, which was another solid choice. I've heard great things about the Paesano on an Italian sub bun with ham, hot capicola, pepperoni, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, banana peppers, and Italian dressing (can be served hot or cold). A friend's favorite is the Figaboudit on grilled ciabatta with prosciutto, fig jam, goat cheese, and arugula. If you go, don't skip the homemade chips with the house-made sour cream and onion dip--it's easily my favorite thing on the menu and worth ordering as a side or appetizer.

I love days when I can sit on their patio which is behind the building and away from street noise - it is private and very comfortable. As the name (Deli and Brew) might indicate, the menu leans heavily towards excellent deli sandwiches and the menu includes a nice varity of their local brews. My favorite sandwichs are either the Pastrami (that I had today) or the State and Main which is a pastrami/ corned beef combination. I prefer their potato salad which is excellent while my wife prefers the cole slaw which is also excellent. Serivce was great and the food was excellent.

Give me a toasty thick cut sourdough and I'm set! The caprese chicken panini was good too but it was not on the same level. The establishment is spacious and airy but I wish the decorating inside wall didn't block the window views; i didn't realize until later that there were a bunch of nice window seats over there. I would definitely come back to try a few other things (and stop myself from getting the same salad).

They have an extensive menu of sandwiches - many available as a combo or as a half-and-half with soup or salad. And, for you salad lovers, there is a very good looking salad bar. I didn't come to a deli looking for a salad so I can't say anything other than it really LOOKED GOOD. The dining area is somewhat reminiscent of a NYC deli - open, loud and lively. I had the Spicy Sicilian Sub and my wife had the Smokey Jack Panini. Both came with some really good chips. Both sandwiches were excellent and are something we'd order again. BONUS - the man who took our order explained that our orders also included FREE ICE CREAM. They have a self-service, soft ice cream machine near the salad bar with vanilla, chocolate and swirl ice cream - available in a dish or a cone. Nice bonus.
