    Reuben The Great

I really enjoy Jason's Deli--especially their salad bar. It's huge and they have everything. Even good ranch. I ordered the Reuben this time and the meat was pretty tough and rubbery. I'll stick to the amazing salad bar in the future. Then I can get an ice cream cone for dessert!!

First time here. Walking in, this is more than a Deli, is an actual restaurant. The menu look great, originally I thought I'm just gonna stop by for a sandwich, but saw they have the Chicken Alfredo, gotta go with the Alfredo The staff is nice and friendly, waited for like 6-7 minutes and is already calling my name, I'm like what this? I'm at Chinese restaurant? So fast? Ah....my mistake, I like the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, this is like Chicken Penne Alfredo. Hm....is alright I guess. Is actually not that good, so I'm giving it 3 out of 5 for now, I will be back, I saw someone having a big salad, looks good, will definitely be back, but not the Chicken Alfredo

Stopped here for a quick dinner. I ordered the California Club. It had roasted turkey, bacon, Swiss, guacamole, tomato, field greens, and mayo on a flaky croissant. My side was guacamole and chips. The gal that took my order was super friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was fairly busy for 7:30pm. My sandwich was very good but my complaint is there was a ton of field greens and little meat. It appeared as if I ordered a salad on a croissant. I am disappointed in how much meat was on the sandwich for the price of $12.89. It was definitely overpriced. I hope they reduce the amount of lettuce and add more meat or I won't be coming back again. The guacamole and chips were fresh and very good. I had a flavored tea to drink. It was very good. The restaurant was fairly clean although I did have a dirty table near us for awhile.

This was my first time coming to Jason's Deli, and probably my last. I would like to stay by saying the people working there were lovely, I didn't know much about this place and they were friendly and very kind to me. The reason I won't be back is the food. The people working made it correctly and they did what the were supposed to do I just think it isn't good quality food. The Mac and cheese was worse than microwaving some Stouffer's. The club sandwich I had was just mi at best. The best part of the meal was the baked lays. So the place did nothing wrong employee wise it's just I don't think the food was up to par. Probably won't be coming back.

First time trying this place because I was craving pasta salad and this was one of the first places to pop up on uber eats. The vegetable soup was by FAR my favorite, tastes like you'd cook it at home all day (super flavorful). The pasta salad was okay, didn't taste the Italian dressing in it really at all, and it could've used more ingredients like tomato's or even cheese. The fruit was definitely fresh and tasted great minus the strawberries.. those looked and tasted actually so bad I threw them out. For my build your own salad I thought it was missing my tomatoes due to there being hardly any but it looked and tasted great! If I could give any pointers I'd ask the egg, broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower be cut or chopped, and even though it's untraditional maybe even cut the Italian peppers! Over all good. I'd order again

Beyond disappointed. I've had this on my places to go for months, so I came up here alone running some errands and immediately the vibes were off. When I walked in the server was rushing me from the second I walked in the door when there was no line at all. Luckily, I looked at the menu beforehand. I changed my mind and took my food to go even.. sitting In my car to eat I open my food my sandwich is black, and my soup was very light on noodles and filling. Finding lunch elsewhere because the sandwich is not enjoyable.

Additionally, having had a Goodman's Deli mile high corned beef sandwich when I lived in Cleveland, I had even higher expectations. Their most popular sandwich is the Reuben so I went with that. Katzingers did not meet them. When I arrived to pick up my sandwich I was shocked the line wasn't out the door to place orders before they closed and the dining room had maybe 6 people in it. There were about 6 to go bags on the shelf along with mine. When I mentioned to the cashier that I was surprised it wasn't busier, she said it'll be busier tomorrow. I said the day after St Pat's? No answer. Another not good sign in my mind. When I got home, the wrapped sandwich was bigger than my hand but not very tall. The paper had areas of grease which is a good sign for this sandwich. The corned beef itself was tender but there wasn't as much of it, maybe an inch high and 1/3 of the bread had no corned beef. I also could not taste the thousand island dressing. The rye bread was toasted but pretty soggy. The crust was mostly crunchy. The bread slices were paired upside down putting a narrower side a larger side against each other. There is not enough sauerkraut and it is not very sour. I was given the choice of a dill or garlic pickle but I cannot tell you how it was because they didn't put it in the bag. I expected this sandwich to have so much meat in it, I could eat for multiple days for $18. Again, disappointed. Maybe I should've gotten the deli sized version but paying that much for a sandwich... The inside of the deli is fun and it's obvious it's been around a long time and has been well loved. I wanted to like Katzinger's but since the price and the quality don't match, I cannot.

First time my wife and daughter stopped before our daughter headed overseas for two years in the Peace Corps. Scotty''s is super close and convenient to the airport. It was my turn, dining alone but nothing about a table for one at Scotty's is lonely. The staff are immediately welcoming and every customer is every employee's charge. Four different people helped me or just checked in. The Gina breakfast combos have lots to offer for breakfast. But I was thrilled this 9:30 am to be assured the whole menu was available. I was looking for something less common and was excited to see potato latkes with sour cream and apple sauce as an option. That would have been great but then the waitress (Salome maybe) said, "Do you like corned beef?" The Schmoozer is 3 enormous latkes with thinly shaved and lightly grilled corn beef on top with an over easy egg atop that. You rarely see a 4.9 rating and even more rarely that high based on so many reviews. But I understand why - like in so many things in life, it is about the people. And the joy they bring to every conversation.
