Ringing the doorbell 3 times, I was met by an aggressive while male, early 30's, with a crew cut driving a white 4-door vehicle. He bullied me by refusing to leave my food or my home until I tipped him. Female living alone and to have a male show up, keep opening my screen door and pushing a tip signature sheet at me, shouting 'you didn't leave a tip!' was unnerving. By far the best location of Jimmy Johns. Let me start by saying that we rarely eat fast food. But sandwiches are hardly a fast food, so we prefer to order those if we are in a pinch. Jimmy John's is one of our favorites, so we go there once in a while... this location is by far the best, and most professional. I have told this directly to the people who work there, including the manager. Whatever they are doing to retain good customer service personnel is working. They are always courteous, prompt, and attentive. Please remember to bring a cash tip, too!!! I learned the hard way when I had no cash with me and my online order gave me no option to tip! The manager today really tried to fight with me about the fact that I had paid for my order on the app when I had my receipt. Rather than accepting her failure as a team leader she continued to argue with me about what location I ordered at when she literally was reading my receipt. The teenage boys who are usually working are so much better at running the store than this woman. The cashier was nice and the line moved quickly. The employee who called out my sandwich was unprofessional. I asked where one of my side items was (and questioned if I had bought one or two since I'm exhausted these days). He added it to my order and snapped at me to "just take them" which embarrassed me in front of several people who were also waiting for their orders. I was fumbling to find my receipt and would have paid for the second one if I had only paid for one. I checked my receipt and sure enough, there were two. He had just had my ticket... why not double check it for accuracy? My sandwich was fine, but I don't think I'll back to this location soon. read more

made a delivery order 10 minutes before they closed. got a phone call from them saying they wouldn't deliver my order because they had already packed up their meats and basically closed up shop. now I know its not exactly a nice move to order 10 minutes before closing time but as a past delivery driver, I know that you still need to deliver the order. you are open until 10. not until 9:50. was planning on giving the delivery driver a large tip but now I think I need to have a talk with the manager instead. read more

These guys are awesome. I placed a large catering order and it was ready on time when I went to pick it up. 1.5 stars at best. I went in and ordered and during the ordering process, I was asked if I would like cheese. There was no mention of an upcharge although they charged me 50 cents! It would not be that big of a deal except the sandwich ended up costing $5.60 for about what you would get on a 6 inch at subway or for a torpedo at quizznos (both of which cost about half of the Jimmy Johns equivalent). Basically, I was suckered into paying $5.60 for processed lunch meat, about a half a square of cheese & some lettuce on dried out bread; all stuff you can buy from a grocery store for about 50 cents. OMG! We just discovered Jimmy John's and my whole family is addicted. We've ordered it three times in the past five days! Each time the food has been consistently flavorful and delicious. The 1/4LB roast beef sandwich is my favorite. It tastes like perfectly cooked and seasoned steak. I am going to go ahead and say this is my favorite sub sandwich place, it blows everything else out of the water. Delivery is fast! 10 minutes and it's here. I had the Vito today and I like to add alfalfa sprouts. Today something tastes odd. It's kind of a bitter taste but hard to describe. I mention the sprouts because it's the only thing I add but also because I know there have been problems with sprouts before. I just wanted to let you know. Not only did the Jimmy John's crew bring us an additional platter of sandwiches in case we ran out, they offered to make additional sandwiches for special dietary needs AND ran to the store to buy us paper plates for the event. I regularly eat from Jimmy Johns and almost every time they deliver I am disappointed by the sami but still always tip well, I ask that the delivery person call when they arrive and not to knock because we have two dogs in the house and they get sent into barking fits easily and almost every time the delivery driver still knocks on my door, also slow delivery, most of the time the bikers get here faster then the cars. Yesterday I called and they forgot my drink then took over thirty minutes to get it to me. Today I have an $11.50 order and was paying with a $20 when the driver arrives he doesn't have change, realizing because of the drink thing that happened to me yesterday I knew that I could order from somewhere else and have it faster then I would get my sami back so I tell the driver he can take it and go. When I call to complain I say "I get Jimmy johns almost everyday" because I want the guy to know I'm a loyal Jimmy johns customer. The guy on the phone starts reading me off many times I have ordered from my cell which is a few times a month...not every other day (I walk in mostly because I work across the street) as if because I only order delivery a few times a month it is okay for them to do the job incorrectly. He then says that I should have told them I needed change and that Jimmy johns drivers only carry $20 in change at a time so it was my fault. I had an $11.50 ticket and needed $8.50 in change aka less than $20 while I wish I could have resolved this over the phone I came to the conclusion that nothing would be solved by talking to someone so rude soooo I had to come here make an account and write this long a** review just to stay...I understand that people make mistakes but these guys at this jimmy johns make a lot, then blame the customer for it and deny accountability.
