The drive thru was slow even though we were the only ones in line AND they didn't give me the chips I paid for! $13 for a combo and I didn't even get it. Updating my review to 1 star: disappointed that I didn't receive my free little john from the T-mobile promotion. It was partially my fault for ordering twice on the same account even though I used two different promo codes. They act like T-mobile doesn't have a family plan. They didn't even give me one, they cancelled both. And the sad part is I didn't even have any add ons to my sandwiches which was the main reason why tmobile promos were being cancelled. I order two vitos for $4 each, no additional add ons. As you can see from the attached email from corporate; they were supposed to honor it regardless, even with the add ons, stores was gonna be compensated. If you already downloaded the code, you can use it. So I am not sure why this place is voiding all orders. t-mobile codes cannot be used more than once. If the workers actually checks the receipt, they will see different codes were used. I ended up going to a different location and they honored it for me. Don't bother asking for bacon. Every time I go to this location, I order the beach club & pay extra to add bacon to it. Bacon has never once been added to it, though. I've called numerous times to complain, and the only solution they offer is to come back for a new sandwich. If it weren't 20 min away, that would be a viable solution; however, I'm not going to drive a second 40-min round trip. They should just be refunding the funds for a botched sandwich job. You place your order in the drive thru, then you drive up to the window to pay, and then they literally hand you your order immediately after. How great is that?! I've been to this location several times and have even ordered delivery a couple of times. I have no complaints on service. The sandwiches are well made even with a few customizations. I love their bread and almost always get the Italian Night Club sandwich. It's so filling! And they have kettle cooked potato chips! Jalapeño flavor is my jam! But the main reason why I like them? I watched another employee (a shorter, african american man) verbally assault another employee (african american young woman) while management stood by and took no action. This was beyond disgusting. The way he talked to her was so rude and I cannot believe nobody stood up for her. Seeing that management took no action or seemed to have any care about the incident I hope that this will be enough to bring attention to the complete and utter mistreatment of employees at this location. I ordered the Italian nightclub at Jimmy John's, however I only wanted all salami on my sandwich, no other meats. When store manager Gina Ciccarone was making my sandwich I asked her was she adding more salami to accommodate for the other two meats that I removed. She said no because it would mess up the pre-portioned meats. However the portions were already messed up because I removed the other two meats. When I told her that I paid full price for a sandwich that comes with three meats and she is not accommodating for the meats that I removed with extra salami, she continued to say that the portions were off and Jimmy John's rules prevented her from adding more salami to accommodate for the other meats that I paid for that were removed. She said she would refund me the difference for the added meats which was only $1. She was very rude as I explained my frustration to her and as the store manager she was not able to recitify the situation. I've never been into this location, but I have ordered from them at least 10 times over the last four years for delivery at my husband's job. I have received nothing but excellent service. They have a record of the orders associated with the phone number you're calling from so I don't even have to think about it. They see my number and it's linked to his name, his work address and even what I order for him so literally all I have to do is give them my credit card information. And seriously, they deliver freakishly fast. I've had them take my order and deliver it to him within 12 to 15 minutes. He always says the food is really good and is very happy with it. Last Thursday (8/27/15) I placed an online order for two sandwiches. After 30 minutes had gone by, my sandwiches had not been delivered yet. Thinking that was out of character for a Jimmy John's, I called the store. Some girl answered, and when I told her I was calling to check on the status of my order, she simply said that it was delayed. She was not friendly or apologetic. She did not ask me when I had ordered, what my order number was, where the sandwiches were suppose to be delivered too. All she said was that they were delayed and that my order should be there in 10-15 minutes. Another 30 minutes goes by. At this point I have waited a hour to get my sandwiches. I call the store again. Another girl answers and she tells me that she just walked into the store and does not what is going. She did ask for my order information and she did explain that they were short-staffed and only had one driver delivering orders. Now I understand that situations arise where a restaurant is short-staffed. But the manager or supervisor or whoever was in charge of the store could have called me and let me know that my order was delayed instead of me calling twice. In fact my phone number and email are included with the online order. They even could have sent free cookies or coupons with the delivery guy so he could apologize in person about the delay. After this happened, I was not planning on writing a review. BUT yesterday, I went to Subway (located at 3088 Basswood Blvd #100, Fort Worth, TX 76137) and had a terrible experience there as well. I chose Subway, because I did not want to deal with Jimmy John's and the lack of customer service. I think it is absolutely ridiculous that I cannot find a sandwich shop near me with adequate customer service. I think Jimmy John's and Subway need to set up and become better than mediocre. Almost all of the fast food places around where I live are subpar with customer service. So I would think that it should not be too hard to rise above the rest and become better at customer service.
