This is my at-work dinner-delivery staple. Jimmy Johns makes my favorite fast food subs. Pair a delicious sub on fresh French bread with their soft baked oatmeal raisin cookie and a giant pickle and it's Heaven in a take out (or delivery) bag. Fast, inexpensive and delicious. LOVE them. Had to add that, as I am eating one right now while writing this review, I realize I always feel sad when I get down to the last few bites...so long sub, sniffle. I placed an order for delivery from this location on my lunch break, and my order did not arrive until nearly 2 hours after it had been placed. Absolutely the worst, rudest staff ever assembled. I'll make it short. My wife attempted to simply speak to the girl behind the counter. She wouldn't even turn her head for acknowledgment. At first we thought she might have some sort of disability. She was four feet away! There was no denying that she heard. THEN, a Hispanic girl pulled the same crap. AVOID. Absolute chaos at this location. Bought $515 of subs for a business lunch on 9/12/23. The order arrived half-filled about 90 minutes later. The delivery girl was not able to assist, so I called the store and spoke with a rude individual that argued with me at first and then said he'd send the additional chips, cookies and drinks out asap. Interestingly enough, the second delivery just appeared at the doorstep of the hospital where I was hosting the lunch (no phone call or attempt to let me know there was a box of food sitting outside). The location in Gainesville should stop delivery service. They are just unable to perform that function. I work less than a mile away from the store and did not receive my order for over 90 minutes. I ordered at 11:18 AM and am still waiting. The infuriating part is that when you call to check on your order they just don't answer the phone. Called customer service for Jimmy John's and had to leave a message. Of course my card was charged. I spoke to a co worker and she had a similar experience yesterday. NOPE. Won't be back! Gave them a 2nd chance-1st visit was a couple weeks ago, and my unwhich was pretty dad then. Today-it was AWFUL. I literally spent almost $9.50 on food that was THROWN OUT. Got my takeout back to office, looked at this poor excuse of a wrap, and called to let someone know: ONE tiny piece of turkey (not kidding), UN-ripe tomatoes, NO avocado as is specified in menu, and they simply said "ok, we'll let them know." I would not call a 1.5 hour wait freaky fast. In fact, it was ridiculously slow. We called in a delivery order. An hour later we called to check on it. They said they were "making it right now." 30 minutes later still no sandwiches! A few days ago we ordered and they said they were out of meat. What kind of Jimmy Johns is this?!?! Awful service. This is a quick-sandwich shop for sure. You basically order right from the menu - no modifications. And if you do have special request, you better tell them right away because your sandwich is made in the blink of an eye. I am still confused if they have mustard or not because when I ask for it I am always given the small packets. The staff is always nice and act like they recognize you when you come in. They have a wrap that is made of lettuce and although it's hard to eat, it is delicious! It's priced pretty cheap too - for the size and freshness of the sandwich. The staff at this restaurant is terrible. No organization. They conveniently are under new management as of last night, so aren't participating in the $1 sub promotion. No sign is posted. Just awfully convenient for them. Service was horrible. Tons of people behind the counter but it took over 15 minutes to get my food. Until the person who seemed to be the manager got back there and started telling people to make sandwiches, nothing happened. Haven't eaten my sandwiches yet but doesn't matter how they taste cause I won't be back. read more

Jimmy John's is my go-to when it comes to delivery. They always gets my order correct, even when I'm ordering for multiple people. I love that you can order and pay from the app, so that you can make specialty requests very easily. Jimmy John's is also usually pretty quick when it comes to delivery, even though I usually order from a location that can be difficult to find - they call and say they when they are close or if they think they're close but aren't sure. read more

I rarely write reviews unless it's completely warranted. Jimmy Johns, it's your lucky day. This is my 2nd experience with this JJ's (Gainesville location specifically) as I am a medical sales rep and cover Gainesville as part of my territory. I cater lunches to physician offices frequently and Jimmy John's is always a staple in my phone due to their cost efficient pricing and quick delivery. The first time I utilized JJ in G-ville they were 12 mins late and gave me no fair warning that they would not be on time. Okay. No big deal, I get it. The driver probably got stuck in traffic (even though it was .7 miles away from my office that I was delivering to). Today, I ordered a semi large catering order and asked to have it delivered to one of my top accounts. I asked the order be delivered between 11:15-11:30 but NO later than 11:30 due to the fact that they only get 45 mins for lunch. At 11:30 they were not there. At 11:45 still not there. 11:50 I called and they told me 10 more mins. TEN MORE MINS? 5 mins go by, I called again. No answer. Called 3 more times. No response. The delivery guy finally showed up at 12:05 (NO BIG DEAL, LUNCH WAS ALREADY OVER) and said sorry, Blame it on my manager. SO ADAM FROM JIMMY JOHNS in GAINESVILLE GA- This review is for you. I have been a loyal fan of Jimmy Johns since finding them after I moved to Georgia. So much so that I would drive to Athens as Jimmy Johns didn't have a location in Gainesville Georgia at the time But after my last few visits I have decided I will not return, at least to this location. I give anyone the benefit of doubt as anyone or business can have a bad day but today's visit is my last. You would think a Turkey sub would have Turkey but mine looked like cheese and lettuce and even the lettuce was not fresh. What Turkey it had on it looked like it scraps. It wasn't any better on my previous business. I always get my order to go, I guess in the future I should open it to make sure the sandwich is up to par before I leave because this location does no longer has a good reputation in books. read more
