Jimmy Johns has the best bread for a sub. I love the zesty turkey garden club sandwich, even if it is a limited time sandwich. The chocolate chip cookie is also one of the best cookies in a sub shop, the only way they could improve is to open up their own bakery. My only gripe is with the app rewards... after buying four meals obtain a FREE SIDE OF GUACAMOLE ! After another 5 orders you are entitled to A FREE DRINK ! Or A free PICKLE!!! The promotion was good for up to six days after issuance, but after I ordered via their online platform and had to provide my personal info to create an account, the manager called me and said the owner refused to accept the promotion. So instead, they got all my info, didn't give me my sandwich, and refused to abide by the rules and regulations of the promotion. I was a JJ fan for a long time, but not anymore! Service here has improved since my last two visits. There was a full staff on hand and a manager to make sure that things were going well. In my previous visits, the staff seemed generally disinterested; perhaps they have turned the corner. Their sandwiches are simple and good. The bread is perhaps my favorite part of the sandwich. First off let me say I have ordered from this location about twice a week for the past year or so. 9 out of 10 times the food is delivered in less than 20 minutes. Obviously, if you order a sandwich around lunch time the delivery time may vary and may take up to 45 minutes. I try not to have a negative opinion of a restaurant with a long delivery time especially if you can safely assume they might be busy. The sandwiches have always been fresh, consistent and correct. They absolutely performed for us today. My company decided to spring for lunch today. It was a last-minute decision by our operations folks. I called up this location, they put me on hold for a minute while they talk to manager, and when the manager got on the phone she assured me that she could get the order in and ready by noon. I drove over at 11:15 in the morning to pay for the three large party platters, and return at about 11:55 AM and they were ready. I have always ordered from Jimmy John's and given them at least a days notice. I usually do it online and from a location off of FM 1960. But this one was a little closer and they performed great. Love the sandwiches but poor customer service. I had to first speak to the cashier. She was very dry and not friendly. When our order was ready, we had to put our own sandwiches in a bag. However the customer behind me items were bagged for her. We also had to wait at the counter to purchase additional items. Maybe if I show up with an $.89 avocado they will give me the correct sandwich? We ordered two gargantuan subs tonight, biggest sandwich with highest price. No problem that's what we wanted. The delivery driver was super nice and freaky fast. However, my sandwich was delivered without avocado which I clearly ordered and paid for (it's on the receipt). When I called to see what they could do about this the manager I talked to, Aimee B, told me I was wrong because she made it herself so it had to be there. I checked every layer of my sandwich and it did not exist. I kept telling her it was not on the sandwich and she insinuated I was a liar. And instead of offering me credit for the sandwich made wrong or offering to deliver the correct sandwich, she said she would only credit me $0.89 for the avocado she knew was on the sandwich. The customer may not always be right but to insinuate they are liars and given a condescending attitude is not what I know of customer service. I then called back to speak with her to have my order voided as I didn't want to pay for something that was not only made wrong but caused me to be treated as a lying customer. She refused to come to the phone even as that is part of her job description to attend to customer complaints. This staff is clearly not trained well in customer service and a manager who ignores customer complaints should probably not work in the hospitality business! read more

Bunch of freaking stoned idiots. After waiting 40 minutes for my #12 I opened my meal to discover there was no turkey. So after calling up there and waiting on hold for over five minutes I had to call back up there. Well I guess according to the manager the reason it was forgotten was because they are so busy. He didn't offer anything for the inconvenience, I had to ask. I was told after uh yeah uh uh uh (you get the picture) they could possibly send someone out there with my money. Not a I'm sorry let me make you a new one. Nothing. Oh and the last time I was up there, there was an employee making a sandwich in the food prep area and using her vapor cigarette. Like that's not considered a health code violation or anything. A majority of the employees look and smell like they are stoned so I guess this is why everyone calls this location the stoner jimmy johns. Been here a handful of times. Food is so-so. I'll go if I am in a hurry. It's so damn simple. I tell them I want a #1 to go. I get to the office to see I got the special order of someone with the rare genetic disorder of lacking any taste buds. I have ordered from this location about six times since moving to the vintage park area. The first two times weren't that great but since then it's gone downhill! I get the Vito and my kids get the sandwich with ham and cheese only. I get them to deliver our food and it's always easier for me as a single mom who works nights. I always explain to them to knock loudly when they come because we have a larger upstairs apartment and that's never happened. They have left twice and had to come back and when they do its with soggy food. My kids had the ham and cheese sandwich last time and I split it for them only to open it up and find only two pieces of ham and two pieces of cheese on the entire sandwich. I basically paid for bread! The last time I had it delivered I came down to pay the guy and get my food and was greeted at my door by a cloud of cigarette smoke that lingered and came into my apartment. My kids both have asthma and it caused my daughter to start coughing after smelling the strong odor. After he left I went outside to look and there was a cigarette butt right near my front door. So the guy was smoking outside my front door (right outside it) before knocking for me to come down. I called to tell the manager and all he said was oh ok well I'll talk to him. I thought this was unprofessional and rude. No apology or anything. Will be the last time we order from jimmy johns and I will tell all y nearby friends and family. Really crazy behavior. read more
