The others in the group gave their items a thumbs up including the onion rings. The root beer certainly was similar to the A&W formula. Worth a stop.

Worst chain restaurant I have ever worked for. I worked at the Onalaska one and got fired for the death of my grandpa after I refused to come in after I switched shifts and worked mine. They withheld my check for 4 months. And now this one. I got let go over something that wasn't in my control and now it's been about 2 months since working there and have yet to get my paycheck. I've called and asked and they either hangup right away without saying anything or tell me I'm yelling when I'm not and hangup or that it hasn't shown up yet. Pretty suspicious that everyone else got paid and hasn't had to wait but me. So now since they refuse to answer my calls and be good employers I have to take them to court for my paycheck. So sad businesses like this act and treat their employees and former employees like this. read more

Bread is dry so definitely not fresh. Waiting 1 hr and ten min for my delivery and they forgot my mayo packets I requested for both sandwiches and put ice in both sodas I requested not to have ice. The driver was nice and apologized he had a large amount of orders in his car that he still had to deliver. read more

So much so that I'm still sitting here to write a Yelp review that likely not a soul will read. I came in during a weekday lunch, typical small line of people. The staff were pretty efficient about getting us all through. The first young guy that started my sandwich was abnormally friendly (in a good way). He interacted with every customer and smiled, greeted us all even though it was busy, and paid attention to everyone's requests. He was also kinda cute, for those interested. I noticed that someone in an earlier review commented meanly about staff members having tattoos, which may have been referring to him (really, stop being so judgmental) or others, but I saw that everyone looked perfectly professional. The next lady, slightly older, was a fantastic multi-tasker. In addition to being equally friendly to each customer, she was juggling managing some repair staff there to fix the restaurant and still making sure she gave proper attention to each of the orders and thanked each person. And while I was eating, she came by later and offered to take everyone's rubbish in the dining room when they were finished eating. At a Subway? Never seen that before in this life. Last was a nice younger lady with black hair in a ponytail. She was handling payment and extras like cookies. Was super friendly, engaged in conversation, and made really good recommendations for alternatives when they were out of something. Made the end of the line (which is usually very transactional) very personable. I'm still shocked, often at the local corner Subway I barely get 10 words in the whole visit. Maybe people are just nicer here, but I'm impressed regardless.
