I love their lettuce wrap. The place is very clean and the staff is friendly, I will choose this place over Subway any day.

A big massive corned beef or ham & swiss or Dinty Moore from a place that has fresh bread smell absorbed into the walls. Well, Bread Basket kind of delivered. I had picked out my chosen order while salivating in between work meetings earlier that morning, and ordered online, expecting a quick in-and-out work lunch visit. I got there - and the polite staffer told me that I had to pick something else, because the item was no longer on the menu, but hadn't been removed from the website yet, and hadn't been removed from the menu above his head yet. He handed me a pamphlet menu - which still had the menu item. No big deal. Restaurants can transition. Change is good. I went with a #9 Rachel's Rhyme as my back-up. It's corned beef and turkey breast as a 4-decker club sandwich, with Russian dressing. Positives: the sandwich was huge. I'm a big dude, and I could only eat half. The corned beef was excellent, the turkey was tender. Negatives: the sandwich was $20 and didn't include any side nor drink. That's like "the most expensive lunch with unlimited sides" at some other local spots. It doesn't fully redeem that price point when I got to keep half to eat the next day for lunch when it was cold from sitting in the fridge. Staff was nice, the place was diner-esque, but I won't be in a rush to get back. Most of the menu was $15.99 or higher for a sandwich by itself. I get inflation, but I can still get an amazing buffet nearby for less than that.

Granted it was on a $1 and change but you add that up over many customers and someone is laughing all the way to the bank. I was told other customers just pay it. DONT BE LIKE THAT PEOPLE. BAD BUSINESS AND OWNERS KNOW THIS!!! the sandwiches suck for $21

The store is always clean, well-stocked, and has a great selection, but what really sets it apart is the people behind it. Marvin, the owner, is one of the most genuine and hardworking people you'll meet. He clearly takes pride in his store and in serving the Canton community. You can tell he cares about the customers and the neighborhood, and that kind of leadership shows throughout the entire place. His sons and the rest of the staff are just as friendly and helpful. Everyone greets you with a smile and makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. It's the kind of place where you're treated like a neighbor rather than just another customer. Marvin also does a lot for the community, which makes supporting this business feel even better. It's great to see a local owner giving back and building something positive for Canton. If you're in the area and haven't stopped by Eastern Market of Canton yet, you're missing out. Great store, great people, and a great example of what a community business should be.

They brought the brisket up to the front counter for me to purchase. I am used to picking out my own meat and specifically looking at the sell by date so I just didn't think of it with this process. When I got home I noticed the sell by date was the very day I purchased this large roast. No one even mentioned this fact Or explained anything In regards to the sell by date. I am not planning on cooking the roast for several days Which will be this coming weekend. i did call and they assured me that the brisket would be fine for the weekend, but the point is that I would never have bought it if I knew or saw the sale by date. Perhaps if the butcher would have explained it initially, I would have been more comfortable. It was a very bad first experience and I will never go back.

They have a menu board with multiple options listed. You order at the stand at the back of the store, and then our food was brought out to us even though we had ordered it to go. I am not sure if that is always the process- I was expecting to go to the counter to pick it up myself so that was a nice surprise! We ordered our sandwiches to go even though we were dining in as we knew we would be taking home leftovers. The seating area inside is no frills. They have less than 10 tables inside, and when we were leaving all of them were full with people waiting for seats. They did appear to have 2 tables outside but they were not being used as it was raining. They did have a carafe full of ice water that was self serve by the door, and they had large cups available which I appreciated! My eyes were immediately drawn to the Spicy Chicken Caesar and the Napa Club. Since this was my first time I ordered both and planned to share half of each sandwich. When I opened the Spicy Chicken Caesar I was surprised by the appearance of it. I had expected a lot more lettuce inside. It looked more like chicken salad rather than salad with chicken. The flavor was good and it was not too spicy! The focaccia was very soft. The Napa Club had great flavor to it, but when I was eating it I could really tell that there was avocado inside of it. The predominant flavor was the garlic and herb aioli. I did feel the chicken was a touch on the dry side. Overall, my experience and food were good; however, I am not sure I agree with the rave reviews. I would return in the future and would love to try some of their other meats aside from chicken, and their pasta salad also looked nice. The service was friendly and I feel like the price was fair. It's a nice addition to downtown Farmington!

Their tuna is unreal--dangerously good--and the corned beef is everything you'd hope for and more. I'll be honest: when you walk up, the place doesn't look like much from the outside. Inside, it feels like a small, old‑school grocery store that hasn't changed much over the years. But don't let that fool you for a second. Don't eat here. No one in there right mind would pay $20 for a simple sandwich. It's 4 ingredients, they got upset with me when I was politely confused due to the price.. a simple sandwich doesn't cost $20. There is no reason a sandwich with two slices of bread, some sandwich meat, bottled Russian dressing, and two slices of cheese would cost anywhere over $8... I have been patronizing this restaurant for over 12 years. I have a feeling that they are taking advantage of their long standing position in this community, a loyal customer base, and customers not understanding pricing of beef.. 6 slices of corn beef is about $3, two slices of rye bread is $0.50, two slices of Swiss cheese is $0.20, a spread of Russian dressing is $0.05.... And they will charge you $20 for a sandwich..... this is awful, disloyal, and advantageous. Don't go here, find another place for lunch that respects hard working people trying to get a decent sandwich. Their food is great, but no intelligent person is paying $20 for a sandwich. It's almost laughable if it wasn't so disrespectful.
