I went there today, after picking up my lawn mower from the service behind the plaza. My father and I said "meh" let's go. The inside is nice on the eyes. The Menu is semi confusing - not hard to understand, but there are multiple sides, - and includes another box just for a sandwich called the "J.J gargantuan" and has no description of size for being almost $10.00 - actual price is I believe $8.49. We ordered the sandwich called "Vito". They were right, they are FREAKY FAST..... BUT the sandwich is mediocre at best. The bread is blan and tasteless. There was almost no meat on sandwich. There was probably 5 thin slices, and a bit of cheese. The taste really was nothing worth ever going back for. I haven't had them deliver before, but in all honestly I have no desire to give them more money for the most okay tasting sandwich in the market. I would MUCH rather goto "Pizza booyah" in Willoughby- which is owned, operated, and has menu items from the "What About Bobs". Their sandwiches are stuffed with meat, and unbelievable tasting. I do not work for them either, just a huge fan of their food. I say don't waste the money at JJ, but feel free to try jimmy johns your self. Very nice workers as well, and clean too. read more

Really fun place lots of funny things in the walls that make a interesting read service is prompt the subs are excellent puts subway to shame in some areas best part about jj is that it's not like subway. For some reason the bread here is nice fresh and crispy it just mends well with the cheese ham and mayo it's got kinda a snap to it that's hard to explain. Try a white bread sub somewhere else and hen try this one it is so much better. Good value too limited seating it is kinda a small location but that's ok lunch time is busy I don't eat in much anyway. They also deliver which is handy when you want a footlong without having to travel. read more

Their website says they close at 11pm daily but this location apparently closes whenever they feel like it. 4 or 5pm? Either that or they ignore drive thru customers. I waited at the order board for 5 min and left to go elsewhere. i thought they were closed. Drove past it 20 min later and there was a car being served at the window, so they completely ignored me when I was there. read more

"Freaky Fast" is right! A pretty normal Jimmy John's all things considered. Decorated walls and quick sandwiches. I get the same thing almost every time I go to any Jimmy John's, so I know what to expect from what I order. I get a few things left off and a few things added to my sandwich and they got everything correct, and that's all I can ask for. read more

I have been working here in Mentor for 8 weeks. We live in Canada and are 3000 miles from home and can truly say we have not found anything that we have enjoyed eating since we got here. Staying in a hotel so I have to go out to eat at least two times a day. We ordered the Gargatuan sub and Jimmy chips this evening, had it delivered to our hotel. I have been to this location several times in the past 2 months and my sandwich has been wrong EVERY TIME. They have given me the wrong bread, added things I asked to be left off, and quite literally threw my sandwich together. Whenever I mention that the order is wrong, the staff always seems extremely irritated and careless or like I'm being a burden. I understand little mess ups but every single time is a little much on top of terrible customer service. Next time I want Jimmy Johns, I will definitely be going out of my way to avoid this location. read more

I stopped to order two sandwiches on Friday May 18 2018 at 6:00, I told the female employee at the register I wanted one ham and turkey sub just as it comes, and one ham and turkey on wheat with no sauces, no cheese and all the veggies, she then ask if I wanted bacon, I told her no thanks and then repeated the sandwich items again. when I arrived home and gave the sandwich to my wife she opened it and found it full of Mayo and also cheese, (the bread and lettuce were saturated with the mayo, so no scraping it off) when I called, the female informed me we must bring back the sandwich and the receipt. when I arrived the female employee told me it was my fault because i said sauces and not mayo, really that sandwich has no other sauces other than mayo,plus I think mayo is a sauce, and she said next time she will not replace my sandwich, and started to explain to me how to order a sandwich (no worries there since I will NEVER return) as she was scolding me I ask to talk to the manager, guess what, she is the manager. Jimmy Johns better train their managers better than this because she turned a simple mistake into a family that will never return. they made me a new sandwich without mayo and with all this repeated directions they still managed mess it up and put cheese on it, at least this was easy to remove. really you can't even get two sandwiches right, in two tries. read more
