Dined in tonight. Took forever for my food to be brought out and when it finally was, the fries and sandwich were cold. Very disappointed especially for a non-rush time for the restaurant. Tells me my food was ready at least 10 minutes earlier and it just sat there and no one bothered to bring it out. I won't be back. We live in Solon is the only reason why we go to this one. Because we always get much better service, and a lot quicker turnaround time when we go to Macedonia. This location for some reason even when they open. Must have poor management. Because they never have their act together. They're not quick. The line's always long. And they're always stumbling over each other. Did you get to drink? No did you ? How can you be out of milkshakes? And how can you be out of mac & cheese? Further, why would you serve a burnt chicken sandwich? The fries are supposed to be large as well as the drink and you consistently give me medium fries although I ask every time for large and they read the order back as a large. I don't get it. Somebody is incompetent. I will say this the staff is always friendly. But somebody doesn't know what they're doing. My husband complains about this location constantly. We are avid Chick-fil-A supporters. We find Chick-fil-A no matter where we go. Other cities, other towns other states. But Solon seems to be one of the worst as far as They're overall. The service at Chic-fil-a has gone down significantly. It's embarrassing that they still operate. The food is mediocre at best & the location in Solon has plenty of employees, but no one actually works. I ordered my food ahead of 3 other people, including an employee, but they serviced the employee first and were all laughing. When asked for a manager, there wasn't anyone available to talk to. Arrived on a Monday at 6 p.m. The double drive-thru lines were long. I parked in the nearly empty lot and walked right in and ordered. Since I was eating inside I was given a tent sign with a number for the table, and in a minute someone brought my order. Check out the condiment counter. It's super nice and clean. Quite a few people were eating. The take out counter was busy. People kept coming in and out. You order and wait using the number on your receipt. Afterward, a young man asked to take my tray. Friendly service! Delicious sandwich! The dining room is large with a soft industrial look. It's refreshing. Don't let the drive-thru line fool you. Go inside. read more

Terrible customer service for the morning crowd. Every time I go there between 6:30-7am, I'm in line for at least 20 minutes. The whole" my pleasure" thing doesn't help me when I'm late to work Every time I give them a try. The bad part is that they have an excellent menu for breakfast! That's why I go back. They are basically the only fast food option in the area near the interstate. They stopped apologizing at the window for the long delays because now, making everyone wait so long for their food is a normal process of their morning business. Oh well. I don't know why I came to this Chick fil a other than for convenience, because it certainly isn't for portion control. I can go to the one in Macedonia, order a medium Mac n cheese and get a full container. Considering the price, it's only fair. I have come here, to the Solon store on three separate occasions, have ordered a medium Mac n cheese, and the container is only half full. WTF! Do you think the skinny women of Solon don't eat Mac n cheese? Or we don't deserve a full container? Are you hoarding it for yourself? What gives Chick fil a? Once was a family favorite, but the quality had gone down dramatically since they opened. For some reason they cannot seem to get my order right, whether I place it in person or on-line. Todays delivery was missing half of the food and when I called to get help, the young man that answered , hung up! I ended up going into the restaurant and waiting on them to remake the missing food. I will say the manager, Sarah, did her best to remedy the situation. But if they paid a little more attention up front, they would not have to deal with upset customers. read more

I hate admitting that I've been here a few times since they've opened. But we all know Solon has a lack of fast casual food options, so Chick-fil-A is filling a needed gap. The only reason I didn't give 5-stars is because there is always a moderate amount of confusion here. They have a two lane drive thru, but sometimes, one lane is blocked off, and you don't find out until you're super close to the ordering box. Then, you have to awkwardly (and dangerously) reverse through the long line adjacent to you and try to get out. It's a miracle that no one (I think) has had a major accident yet. They should put the cones closer to the street where people can see. They are likely still trying to figure things out though, so I'm sure this will improve with time! Ordering still can take a while as the staff aren't yet familiar with how to scan the app to redeem rewards. Again, all things they can work out! The food is always tasty and made perfectly and my order has never been wrong. I'm strangely addicted to the tart diet lemonade, I could drink a gallon of it! read more

Came here one week after they opened at 8:30pm on a Thursday night. Did not expect them to be busy, boy was I wrong. There were about twenty cars in the drive thru, so I opted to head inside to order some food to go. There were about 10 parties ahead of me, either waiting for their food when I entered or ahead of me in line, even so, it only took about 10 minutes from the time I entered to wait in line, order, and receive my food. Considering the huge volume of customers at the store at the time, I was impressed. Employees inside at the registers looked overwhelmed and busy, but everyone was friendly and polite. My order was correctly prepared, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the spicy chicken, waffle fries, lemonade, chick fil a sauce, and Polynesian sauce. Finally open! As good as it gets for "fast food" chicken IMHO. We wanted to check out the new building so this time around we chose to dine in. It was stupid busy at 7 pm on a weeknight, but we only waited about 10 minutes for the food to be brought out to our table. For a place that's been open less than a week it's pretty impressive how they handle all the traffic at the multi-lane drive through AND inside the building. Like every Chick-fil-A I have been to in the past, the employees were friendly and the place was spotlessly clean. They even keep the condiment stations organized- much respect! read more

Whether by true malice or willful negligence, you will end up paying more if you don't double check your receipt every time. Let me just say I love Chick-fil-a. I am a follower of the Cobb salad and they always do it right. I get a salad with no chicken or bacon and the staff is so accommodating to me. The interior of the restaurant is always clean and there are many tables. The staff is always so phenomenal and they are so friendly. Yes, yes, yes! I was so excited when I first heard that there was going to be a Chick-fil-a literally right up the road from me. It also got built super fast. Like within a few months. Yesterday was the opening day, and although I didn't camp out, I went at 8pm with a friend (it closes at 10pm). We went inside and they have a really nice system. There were a lot of people but the line went really quickly and you got your really nice workers, which is pretty standard for chick-fil-a. But the food was rolling out quickly, tasted fresh. At the end of my meal, they had workers walking around and I got asked if I wanted a refill (how nice!) and they even came around a took my tray when I finished. Really good experience and just super thrilled it's in Solon now. It looks really nice too. read more
