Took my wife to this location this morning for an early lunch. Holy cow, the rude looks and behavior from the young lady at the cash register were classic. My wife finally had enough of it and told her to forget it and that we'd eat elsewhere. I'm actually a little glad to have seen this myself, not only to realize that i should spend my money someplace else, but also as a vivid and powerful reminder of how NOT to treat customers. As with all Jimmy Johns they are very fast making your sandwiches. The sandwiches are also to the standard of Jimmy Johns. The bread was fresh as well as the ingredients going into the sandwich. I nice tip, they will deliver to most hotels downtown in case you don't feel like going out. read more

Worst experience I've ever had when ordering ahead of time. I waited over 55 minutes when I preordered a basic sandwich and chips, yet people were leaving the store with their walk-in orders within 5-10 minutes of arriving. I understood that they were busy, but after waiting 30 minutes and not seeing or hearing a single preorder being brought out, I inquired why. Two different staff members told me they weren't sure what the hold up was and that they were just really busy. Again, I had already waited patiently for 30 minutes, but when 25+ people walk out ahead of you with an order they didn't place in advance, there's simply no excuse for that. I asked about my order again two different times and after the third time, they finally said it was being made. Waiting almost an hour for a "freaky fast" service is completely absurd and I will not be returning to this location ever again. read more

I ordered my meal via the web at 11:31am, yet it was not ready until 12:11pm. I could tell that the employees there were working really hard. If I was able to provide an employee rating separate from the overall experience, I would rate the employees 6/5 stars. It is completely unacceptable for customers to have to wait so long. I should have been notified when ordering of substantial delays and given the choice to cancel my order. after 10-15 minutes, my order should have been inserted in the regular queue so as to minimize the delay. read more

I am very pleased with this Jimmy John's. When visiting the Mayo Clinic this is one of my go too places. It is an incredibly busy Jimmy John's. They have a huge staff crammed into a very small shop. During the busy lunch rush they move people through quickly even though The line is often out The door. The bread, meat and veggies are always fresh and the sandwiches prepared to perfection. During the summer months you are able to sit outside. Due to the crammed quarters inside this outside seating is a must. The cramped feel to this store durring the rush hour can be an issue if one is wanting to eat their meal there rather than taking it out. read more

Jimmy John's is attached to the Kahler Inn and Suites, so it is convenient and service was fast even during lunch time. As with most sub shops, there is a small amount of meat with a lot of lettuce, tomato, etc. and a large hunk of bread. It's unfortunate that I cannot give negative reviews for my experience. I am a patient at Mayo Clinic. I ordered lunch today as I waited between my appointments. As I am being treated for spinal issues, it is difficult for me to go out to lunch and delivery is my best option. Issac answered the phone and would not listen to my order, repeated it back incorrectly SEVEN times, then forced me to repeat my credit card information SIX times. I'm sure everyone in the waiting room was able to copy each number, expiration date, CV, and my zip code. After all of this, Issac then told me that another order was "more important and needed to be out the door" so he switched me to another person. The second person confirmed that the credit card information was still incorrect, and so was my order. We got it straightened out. I gave directions that I was waiting by the elevator, and that I am unable to move due to my condition. I gave my phone number so I could be located. I was assured my order would be delivered "directly to me" in five minutes. Five minutes later, Issac flew past me and past the floor desk. I slowly, anD INCREDIBLY PAINFULLY hobbled across the waiting room and back to the nurses desk, where A frazzled receptionist was telling Issac that she didn't know what to do with the order I paid for. I then asked if it was my order, why he didn't call me or meet me at the elevator as requested and planned. Issac then gave me attitude and said he "didn't have to and didn't have a chance." I was given my food and told to sign the bill. I was not allowed to check the order. As I painfully made my way to my seat for a pen to sign my bill, Issac proceeded to violate HIPPA regulations by shoving a patient at the desk to grab a pen, he then chased me across the waiting room yelling "You need to sign the bill and tip me." He shoved the pen at me and I hunched over, uncomfortable and humiliated in the middle of the waiting room, and signed the bill. I held the pen back to him and said "Will you take this back?" Issac growled and yelled at me "You can keep it, it ain't mine." He took off through another private part of the clinic, leaving me standing there, humiliated. Since I do not believe in stealing, even a pen, I then hobbled back up to the front desk, waited to return the pen, and then painfully made my way back to my seat. This Jimmy Johns has no respect for the seriously and critically ill patients at Mayo. Mayo patients should BOYCOTT this business. Issac should be fired immediately. This experience is completely unacceptable. read more

I was not impressed. My sister said the sandwiches were so great. We called in our order and we picked it up. The menu is very sparse as far as sides, chips and no salads or anything. I got my sub which was missing the onions and wheat bun, another sandwich we ordered came on wheat sandwich bread instead of even a sub roll, pretty bland I don't think I'll go here again. read more

MUST TRY. I have been coming to Jimmy Johns here in Rochester since it opened. Every time I come here the sandwhiches are 5 star. The bread is baked daily and the produce is always fresh. They sliced their meats and cheese daily. They have the best service ever and the owners truly love their business and it shows. If you're really hungry try their Garg sandwhich. read more

So my wife was getting induced at the mayo and I had to work my route that day. Well the induction was going faster than expected so I skipped breakfast and lunch to get to the hospital quicker. So I get to the hospital around 4pm just as they started putting in the epidural and labor was active, however I hadn't eaten all day and I didn't want to pass out due to lack of food so I asked my wife if I could go get jimmy John's downstairs. Inbetween two strong contractions she says "Ben I'm about to have a baby NO", to which I replied its jimmy johns they're fast. So I go down to get my sandwich and before I even finished typing in my PIN number my sandwich was on the counter waiting for me. So I grabbed my sandwiches and run back to the hospital and 8 minutes later my daughter was born. This Jimmy johns is crazy fast, highly recommend. read more

Jimmy John's in Rochester rocks! I've been to plenty of JJ's in the cities and the Rochester store is superb. They definitely always have great service, fresh food and are just as fast as they claim to be! Little known fact: this JJ's is the number 1 store in the whole franchise. It's very clean too, (which can't be said for many fast food chains). Their delivery is ridiculous! I get my order in under 10 minutes every time. I'd go there any time! read more
