Been here multiple times for both their regular menu and brunch menu! They consistently hit the spot, definitely a pricier restaurant but their burgers are delicious and they have my favorite cheese curds with a nice berry ketchup - definitely recommend! For parking you can park in the Berkman garage, very convenient Food 5/5 - I always grab the cheese curds! Service 5/5 Vibes 5/5 - they have an outdoor area that's nice in the summer!

4.5 Stars Really Burgers were straight noms. There was a kind of chaotic energy--in the best way--in the burgers. Bold mixes of flavors, creative toppings, and an awesome patty at the core made it all work. Probably the best burger I've had in Rochester. Some quirky twists, like the apple-ish ketchup, definitely caught me off guard--but I respect the creativity. Not your standard burger joint, and that's a good thing. The server was personable and awesome, adding to the whole experience. Between the flavors and the vibe, Red Cow's a must-try if you're craving something different (and delicious).

Great food and service! Came here after a long day at Mayo Hospital. We split the Red Cow Salad and the Turkey burger (I saw online it won an award). Both were really good! The waiter recommended champagne vinaigrette instead of the sherry and it was great. They also split the burger/fries and salad for us at no extra charge - bonus points! The waiter also gave me a coke to go when I wasn't sure if I wanted another full glass - it's the little things. They have shakes and mini donuts for dessert. We got the donuts (12!) with caramel sauce. Reminded me of state fair donuts. Ambiance is great and sound is minimal. They also light a candle on your table. Wish we had this place closer to home!

This was our first visit and the waitress was patient & amazing. We told her we don't eat as much now that we're older and she said we can share whatever we like. We chose the patty melt & fries with onion rings. She brought us one of there warm sugar donuts while we waited and it was very good like a big Tom Thumb donut from the fair warm and chewy. She brought us seperate plates with our order and we each got a little cup of fries and shared the best patty melt we ever had on sour dough. I asked her to tell the cooks they rock! Wonderful experience with our Christmas gift certificate from our daughter I assure you we will return! Right next to St. Mary's Hospital if your visiting patients this would be a nice escape for you!

Highly recommend the brunch! Tried a variety of items including the crème brûlée French toast, steak & eggs, and eggs Benedict, all of which were absolutely delicious!! A plus were the tasty mini donuts~

I had visited two different Red Cow locations in Minneapolis and my experiences were stellar. I found out that Rochester had a Red Cow location that I hadn't visited, so I thought that I'd give it a try in late September. Part of me wishes that I hadn't. The food was yummy. My server's polish with his rapport needed help. This location is near the Mayo Clinic. It means that parking is at a premium. Across the street is a McDonald's with plenty of parking. There was a sign that said to not park there unless you were a McDonald's customer. Well, I parked in this lot. Four hours later, I bought a drink and picked up a free Big Mac. Technically, I was a customer with a delay factor of four hours. I crossed the street and walked in. I waited a bit before a woman greeted me. She sat me in a corner next to a couple. The view allowed me to watch the Vikings-Packers game. When I lived in Rochester, I ventured out on a Sunday when these two teams were playing. I was doing the same thing. It was a Sunday. I was grabbing lunch. The only difference is that I don't mind watching football these days. My server was Jackson. He seemed nice. He got a menu for me and walked away. Another female server got my drink order, which was a glass of water and and a Diet Coke. She came back with my DIet Coke. No water. He came back with water. He placed the glass of water on top of my menu in front of me. He then asked, "Did you want something else?" What a peculiar way to ask a question and place my glass of water. I just got here. You got me water. I have a Diet Coke. Yes, I'd like food. I ordered the lobster mac and cheese. Red Cow had three varieties of mac and cheese. This one was the most expensive of the three and also appealed to me the most. My server spent a lot of time in front of the kitchen, waiting for orders. He was also watching the Vikings game, as were most folks in this eatery. The woman seated at the table next to me approached me. She explained that her coughing wasn't COVID-19, but a health issue that she's getting addressed at the Mayo Clinic. It was thoughtful of her to explain why she was coughing to me. I let her know that I appreciated her sharing her medical condition with me. I also said that her coughing didn't bother me. It has always made sense to me that folks come down to Rochester to seek medical attention. She and her husband seemed relieved. They had specified to have no one sit next to them. All of a sudden, they got me. Yes, there's another issue with staff not communicating with one another about their request. They were disappointed. I don't blame them. I said that what bothered me was my server asking if I wanted anything else after getting my drink order. Her husband agreed that it was an awkward question to pose. I got my lobster mac and cheese from a different server. It looked good. I thanked her and went to town. This dish had lobster tail meat. It was cut into generous chunks and was scrumptious. The shellbow pasta was al dente. There was the perfect amount of five-cheese sauce that coated each pasta. This dish had old bay seasoning on top, which was perfect. My Diet Coke and water helped wash everything down. The former was okay. I didn't get any dessert. I could either get a milkshake or mini donuts. Nothing appealed to me. I paid with a credit card. This place doesn't have a payment machine, so my card had to be run through their system. I then signed a paper receipt. I used the women's washroom before I left. It was nicely designed and clean. I don't think that I'll return for a bit. Jackson needs help with his customer service skills. He should have asked if I was ready to order instead of whether I wanted anything else. The placement of my glass of water was also odd. I'd rather hit a Red Cow up in the Twin Cities for more polished customer service. (410)

We got here around 4 and we were seated right away! There's no parking lot, so it's either street parking or parking ramp. It does get kind of busy closer to 5 which is normal for a Friday night! Food was great and came out quick!! We had two birthdays so the mini donuts and milkshake were free! It does get kind of loud as the place fills up but it's not too bad!!

Easy access to some hotels. Pleasant check in staff. I had to wait for some time after being seated. The waiter seemed to get distracted with other tables who were seated after me. I would have rated it higher if the efficiency of wait staff was improved. I ordered the salmon burger which was fantastic. The restaurant seemed to be casual with mainly burgers and apps I was a little disappointed that the dessert options were limited.

We were looking forward to lovely consistent food based on our experience in St. Paul. And we were disappointed. The hamburgers were very salty and the sweet potatoes fries had no flavoring. The kids sliders were a wonderful size, but also a little overdone and salty for a kids meal. For as much as it costs to go out to eat, our expectations are higher. The service was a little spotty too. It didn't seem like they were busy when we walked in so we were surprised at how long it took to just get a hello.

The service was amazing and so helpful with some dietary allergies. They were extremely kind and visit the table just enough to get what you need without overkill. All food and drinks were great!!! Absolutely recommend and will be returning.

Went there 2 Thursdays ago, after a LONG day at the Mayo Clinic. This place was just down the block from where we were staying and it was highly rated, so why not? Pulled up around 4 pm or so, the music outside was blaring so loud, I almost left. Had my wife not been so hungry (she had to fast that day for tests) I would have. Went inside and was greeted warmly by a host who explained the myriad of ways to order. So I stepped up to the ordering kiosk and, having reviewed menu items before hand, Ordered a single for my wife and a double burger for me. I asked the host what came with that, and was told everything was ala cart so kept it plain, but ordered some fries for both of us. Water for both. So, a double, single, fries, 2 water and the order came to over $30, which really surprised me. Expecting a great burger, I sat and the greeter brought FREE popcorn t our table, which was extremely salty and stale to boot. Burgers came on a nice-looking bun. I looked inside my bun and was greeted by the most pathetic looking 2 burgers I have ever seen. Overdone, dry and SMALL. It felt like they were reheated from lunch. 2 patty's didn't equal one patty at most other places. Had my wife not been so hungry, I would have gotten up and left. Even the two pickles (which are homemade, with a nice zing) didnt make the burgers any better. There were only about 6 people in the store so NO EXCUSES for not getting a better effort from the chef! So, conclusion, DON'T waste your money on this place. I would have been better off at Micky D's or Bugger King and saved money to boot. I WILL NOT be going back, which is too bad as I will be staying in the Rochester area for an extended period of time and about 10 minutes from this place. OH, Sorelina's, across the street is awesome, we at there the night before.

She never left us waiting for service and offered some great suggestions on the menu. While we know this is a brewery, they also serve batch cocktails, instead of a full bar. We started with their version of an old fashioned, which wasn't our first choice but they were actually tasty albeit a bit sweet. Since the weather was below 0, I craved something hot and comforting. I ordered the Beef Stroganoff which was tasty. Included braised local beef, mushrooms, onions, garlic, parmesan, cream sauce, dill, house-made fettuccini, topped with sour cream. The sauce was light so you didn't feel like it weighed you down. My husband ordered the birria tacos. Beef brisket, white onions, mozzarella, cilantro, corn tortilla, green salsa, beef broth, lime Although they were tasty, they were quite greasy. Prices were reasonable. I would come back again and try the pizza.

She never left us waiting for food or beverages and I know she was very busy. The restaurant is also nice. Clean, nicely decorated, nice patio, etc. This review is based on the food. There were three of us. For an appetizer we ordered the fried pickles. They were fine but a little greasy. We all ordered burgers the Chicken Pablano Soup. The soup could have been more tasty but because it was served warm instead of hot, it really took away from the flavor. Secondly, we each ordered burgers.
