Run by a bunch of rude and immature teenage staff. Cannot get simple orders correct and when you call to rectify you just get attitude It gets old real fast, kinda like their menu. I entered this Jimmy John's on Monday Feb 19(2024), after I had an appointment in the area. Had never been in one before and I remembered there was one close by from my doctor. I was there pretty early, like 3pm, so not crowded, but there were a couple people sitting inside. I was glad I looked over the menu first online-I hate being the person that has to figure something out in line if people are waiting! So I already knew I wanted to try the Tuna Club. Compare it Subways Tuna...I'm happy to say they are both completely different in the way it's prepared so they are both good to me for different reasons. I'm also going to commend the girl that made mine. She heard me mention to the guy that I wanted a herb bread, but he told me that was a wrap, so basically made it sound like I couldn't get that..? But-she said she could make it on what I wanted! It was delicious on the wrap! Lots of lettuce...but I need my veggies so that was ok with me. That was all I ordered. I did add a couple "freebies" listed online like pickles and oregano. Had planned on only eating half but liked it so much I ate the whole 8" of it! Would go back here. read more

After waiting over an hour for my order I called the store, and was told they had a new driver and she wasn't used to the area-- sorry, but no. As someone who delivered for GrubHub for several years, I call BS. This isn't the seventies, we have apps for that. I see a lot of 'not so good reviews' under this location but honestly ive never had a problem. My order is always right, delicious and ready when I show up 5 minutes later after placing to pick it up. When I do delivery it truly is freaky fast. Only downside is the interior is small and personally id never eat in there with it being so intimate. read more

Jummy Johns is one Of my favorite sandwich places. I usually order the spicy east coast sandwich which is is served with double meet, salami and caccialo and Swiss cheese. I get it double loaded with extras veggies, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, sauce and lite maybe on the French bread. I get extra sauce on the side and a little on the Sandwhich. I really like the Ghiradhelli chocolate chip cools and the Rewards programs. This is one of my go to quick sub places for the quality and speed. read more

I placed an order today the cost $37.78. I got a pop instead of a tea (I don't drink pop so it went completely to waste). My boyfriend ordered a Giant Jimmy Cubano and he substituted the ham for turkey and I was charged $3.58 and there was no turkey. I ordered a club lulu that literally only has turkey Mayo lettuce and tomato. I got no tomato or Mayo and they added cucumber. Then on a small piece of receipt paper (see attached) that just said "sorry - ran out of Tom, Mayo, Pick. " I didn't receive a phone call regarding half of the missing ingredients, even tho my phone number is printed on the receipt they provided to me. This is the dumbest shit I've ever seen. Great location for me just west of downtown Rochester. Efficient staff and like most (if not all) JJ's, quality ingredients. I wish I could bake bread as good as they do. I don't eat at Jimmy John's often, but when I do, it's because I am in a pinch and need something quick. Plus, this place is better then McDonalds so I'll eat here versus there. The menu is decent with a variety of subs. I usually go with the roast beef, and it's all right. The bread is a okay, but its a solid meal all the way around. Service is fine when I'm here and never have to wait very long for my food. Prices are on point, and I haven't had a bad meal yet. Ordered a sub for delivery at 8:50pm on a Saturday. The food never arrived, waiting for two hours, tried contacting the store with no answer. I went in the next day and the "manager" said it was voided but I was never notified of this and no mention of why they closed early. Usually in this circumstance, they would offer you a sub but no, wanted to charge me full price and the charge went through on my credit card from the night before. It's a shame how much this location is falling off. I placed a pickup order for a club lulu, turkey tom, chips, a side of ranch and a pickle to go. It took me probably 5-7 minutes to get there, but I was originally understanding if it wasn't done because I know that they can get busy. However, upon arriving, it took at least 10 more minutes to finish the order, if not more. Pretty sure I overheard that they mistook the club lulu for something else entirely and had to redo it. After not getting the first sandwich right, I noticed that they had not included my chips , pickle or ranch. So I had to go back inside and have to wait a other couple minutes for that as well. Then i finally get home , and am surprised to find out that my turkey tom had ham instead of turkey. So literally everything I ordered either had some sort of issue. It just seemed to be very frantic and unorganized while I was waiting. For a company that preaches efficiency , I just wasn't seeing it. Went to this JJ today and it was disappointing to deal with very rude asian girl who took my order. I could not understand her English and had ask twice, so she became very agitated and showed too. She slammed my cup and chips on the counter after the order was placed. On top of that she screwed up my order too and I had to wait for 15 minutes to get a right sub. I am normally very tolerant but she was extremely rude and in the retrospect I should have said something but I don't think she gave a s--t. Ok, they were below the 20% markup for price gouging but an almost 18% markup because of the Corona virus is ridiculous! My boss called Jimmy John's today to order lunch for all of us. She's a great boss & does this fairly frequently. Jimmy John's is one of her favorite places. It's the same order and the cost is reasonable. Today she was quoted almost $200 for the usual order. WAY more than the usual price. When she asked why it was so much she was told it was because they were open & other places weren't. She immediately hung up & called another sub place, one that rhymes with best way. They were polite. The order (same food as from JJ) came to about $85 which is less than JJ's usual price. Guess what? The other place has a new regular customer! Guess what else? Jimmy John's has lost not only our bosses business but all of ours as well. read more

Ok, so I love Jimmy John's. Especially now that they have the Unwich wraps and I can go all the time and not feel guilty about it. My favorite is the Beach Club in an unwhich, minus the mayo and add cherry peppers and mustard packets for 330 calories. Price is ok, $6 a sandwich. What I don't understand is all the rediculous corporate rules they have in place. For example, they refuse to put the mustard on my sandwich, I have to literally unwrap it and do it myself. What?! Also they are no longer allowed to serve alfalfa sprouts. But it's still on the menu as being in the beach club...And no one mentions this until I get my sandwich. What?! Luckily the staff here is always apologetic lol and lets me add something free in place of the sprouts. But still, wtf? read more

I should've just ordered bread. Hardly anyone here and all the tables are dirty. The ice machine is dripping. The water and chips were fine . Walked in today to get an order to go. There was a cashier and two sandwich makers who were idle with no one in the dining area. The cashier greeted us and took our order promptly then passed it to the two sandwich makers. They started off okay but were involved in a personal conversation which apparently created a need to stop what they were doing so they could use their hands to emphasize their point. This delayed getting two sandwiches completed in a timely manner. Once complete, one of the sandwich makers handed us the two sandwiches with no bag, no napkins. The quality of the product was consistent with the making as ingredients were sparse and the bread tasted like it was left over from the previous day. Fortunately, there is another JJ on the other side of town. Both experiences at this one told us that we need to go elsewhere next time. read more

Def disappointed in the quality of the sandwiches prepared here. How difficult can it be to put together a $5 sub? JJ's is heading down the same path as Quiznos, i.e. expand like crazy and lose control of quality. I have eaten JJ's hundreds of times and for some reason i keep going back imagining I am going to taste the same sandwich they produced before the corporate culture sank in. The bread is now fresh/frozen, and their oil/vinegar mix is 90% oil, which is disgusting (at this location especially, but it def seems to be throughout the entire JJ system).
