JackStrami on everything bagel for the win.

First time visit. Asked the counter guy what he liked. JackStramii! Not on the menu. Pastrami and Monterey Jack, egg on everything bagel. Easily the best breakfast sandwich I've had in a long time. Can't miss at this place. Everyone was very happy.

We were heading to a morning event in Pontiac and looking for a breakfast spot nearby, which is how we came across this place. I am VERY particular about bagels, but this place was top quality! We later learned that the owner is from New Jersey, so clearly we were dealing with people who had high standards for bagels! I had the whole wheat everything bagel with the lox spread. There was a ton of lox in this spread, which is pretty rare! My wife had the Chicken Palermo and said it had great flavor. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. There are also 3 or 4 tables, if you want to dine in (we were the only people doing that on the morning we were there). A great spot for bagels (pun intended) - I'll definitely be back!

Best bagels in metro Detroit. This place recently opened a few months ago in Auburn Hills and their bagels and cream cheese selections are well worth the visit. I've never tasted such good cream cheese before. Bagels are delicious and fresh. The inside of the blueberry bagel was like cotton candy texture, it was delicious.

Went here on Christmas morning on my way home from working night shift & I am so happy I did!! I was craving a bagel but have been very disappointed with the local bagel chain near my parents house ... so after doing a quick search I found this spot! Their bagels are amazing & very large! You definitely get what you pay for. Loved the scallion cream cheese w/ the fresh scallions in it. Check them out if you're nearby!!

I am so happy we found this place! The chicken salad BLT on onion bagel was amazing! Next time I might add a veggie cream cheese. They have fresh fruit that looks amazing. You can see the different cream cheese in the deli window and it looks delicious! Service was great and everyone was nice. It's a small shop so they only have 5 tables but it's a cozy place. They are wheelchair accessible. 2 of the tables have chairs and the other 3 are booths.

    Fresh fruit too.

This is the new best bagel spot in Metro Detroit. I ordered an everthing bagel blt with nothing else on it do to dietary restrictions and was blown away. Didn't need any cream cheese, mustard or mayo. It truly stood on it's own. Service was great. A few tables to dine in. Will be back.

Stopped in on a Friday afternoon for lunch. Was warmly greeted by the staff at the counter. They have a wide variety of breakfast sandwiches and lunch item to choose from. Will definitely be back to try some of their breakfast menu! Great place for catering options for work as well!

I stopped in here today and wow, what a great new place this is! They just built this whole complex and this was additive to this side of town. I love a good bagel, and was glad when they open. The bagels here are fresh, big and they have custom spreads which I love. I went with a garlic bagel toasted with the lox cream cheese, which had fresh lox chopped up in it. I've had the dip at other deli's and it's delicious. They have a variety of bagels and sandwiches to choose from. Some are more expensive than others, some are not. It just depends on what you get. Since my cream cheese was specialty, the whole shebang cost me $6.10, but since I paid cash, I saved a bit of money off the top. This place is the real deal, and it looks like most everything's made onsite. They open and close early, so it's more of a quick breakfast stop. They have seating if you want to dine in, which I did, and it was not a bad thing at all. Service was quick, and they had two registers going at the same time on a Sunday morning. While the place was busy, there was no long lines and people seemed to be getting in and out quickly. I'm excited that they're here, and will be back for more!

Best bagels I've had in the area. They are massive and perfect. The steak scrambler sandwich is fantastic. Was told by ownership that I had to add the garlic aioli and they were right. Will be coming back here again and again.

Excellent fresh bagels. They had a great selection of bagels and cream cheese. I got a egg and cheese on an asiago bagel with scallion cream cheese.

We also had a black russian bagel that was so fluffy and fresh inside and enjoy the subtle spices which reminded me of rye bread.

The man working here was pleasant and eager to serve. He told me he had been here for many years and I will enjoy the bagels and apologized for cash only. I am not sure why he does not accept credit but luckily I had enough to pay. The other customer agreed the bagels were good. It is a very small shop that does not carry much else, there were the bagels in bins and a list of cream cheese flavors. Everything was moderately priced and I did want to try their lox but it was the priciest sandwich so I went with a dozen bagels and a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. The man microwaved the toppings and added it to the bagel but did not cut the sandwich in two. I was a bit suspicious of the cooking method but the sandwich was fairly decent, but pretty thin. The bagels themselves were pretty tasty. They had the nice shine on the outside and chewy on the inside. I have not had enough bagels in New York to actually compare but very comparable to the ones you might get at the smaller West Bloomfield shops. But the bagels themselves are tiny. Shockingly small. Really you could eat two to be the equivalent of one bagel from yesteryear. I paid $11.50 for a dozen, so not bad, especially since one is listed as $1.25. Would I go back? Probably. I did enjoy the taste, texture, and style of the bagel. Might I try a different location? Yes. There is one in Commerce that appears to be bigger and offer a larger selection. I am not sure if they are related, same company, same recipe...a franchise? They are not listed together online but have the same menu. The prices online are slightly different in Commerce and I am not sure if they take credit cards over there. But the ones here did taste fresh.

This place is just about the bagel, no sit down or fancy coffee, the bagels are the star of the show! when I arrived, the line was to the door, but things moved rather quickly. I am more familiar with the New York Bagel in Ferndale and used to frequent that location several times a week while I worked in the neighborhood. I was surprised by the smaller footprint here. While it seems the same variety of bagels is carried at both locations, I'm not certain if the bagels are made here, as they were at the Ferndale location. Did I miss it because I was busy checking out the various cream cheeses? Or too busy trying to get out of other people's way? As I mentioned, it is a much smaller shop. I had the sesame bagel, which was a bit more dense than I remember. This could be because it was later in the day, and bagels have a short shelf life. Service was fine.

There were at least six people "working"--standing around talking loudly with the radio blasting, mainly--and even though I was just getting a single bagel with cream cheese it took forever. And no one else was even in the store. At a certain point, the manager/owner called over to me and said "we're having trouble with the toaster." I had been super clear that I wanted it "not toasted." Then because he could tell I was irritated and it had been, well, forever, he started scolding the workers about talking too much, the music being too loud, etc., to no avail. They just kept going. And when the time came to finally hand me my bagel, there was no apology, "I'm sorry," or any acknowledgement at all that it had been a really inappropriately long time that I had been waiting--again, with no one else in the store. And six employees working. The sad thing is that the bagels at this place are pretty good, about the best you are going to get in metro Detroit, but I won't be back.
