quite possibly the worst jimmy john's delivery service i've ever experienced. i've order two times now directly the app using delivery and my order has taken 1.5 hours to arrive. by the time i get the food it's not good anymore. the second time, my order never arrived until about 9pm (ordered at 7pm). they are probably understaffed and it's not the drivers fault, but damn just say you can't offer delivery at that point read more

I have ordered online many times and have had pretty good food but I have been there twice where there was one particular young lady with dark hair that was extremely rude and hateful. The first time I called the manager about her giving false information and wrong order but she did make it right by me so I decided to give it another chance and to move forward but I believe that was a mistake. I just went there tonight. She was there again. I went to the window and she was upset that I was at the window because they had a cone in front of the speaker even though I ordered online and said I would be at the drive-through window where all she had to do was hand me the bag because it was already paid for. She was extremely rude to me and said they were completely out of tea and that she did not know how to do a refund but didn't ask anyone else for assistance and I would have to go back, another time to get a refund if I didn't want anything else. I told her that she should make it right and give me a free coupon instead of me having to come back to get my refund she became ruder and said that I could forget it, and so I just left. Honestly after that since I order online and my name is on the ticket, I cannot trust, she won't do something to my food so I probably will not go back in fear of her doing something because she was that out of line and rude. read more

We live in Kansas City and make a trip to the lake of the Ozarks several times during season. We always stop at Jimmy John's in Sedalia. The employees are always friendly and the atmosphere is fun. Saw the last review and was very surprised. Someone had a bad experience, didn't they? They seemed to know a lot about this JJ's considering they're from out of area. My review is very different: the local ownership takes pride in delivering great quality and outstanding service. Their sandwiches are consistently good and arrive amazingly fast, whether ordered at the counter or for delivery. On the rare occasion that I've seen them make an error in the order, they actually noticed it themselves, pointed it out, and were back quickly with the correction and a cookie "apology". The entire staff is consistently friendly and helpful, and I've always found the store to be very CLEAN. Only 3 minor complaints: (1) the music can sometimes be a little too loud (2) no hot sandwiches (not specific to our local franchise) (3) very restricted delivery area (imposed by the franchiser) Oh, and you can buy yesterday's bread at a discount ($0.25/loaf) and use it for your kid's lunch sacks! read more

Gone down hill since changing ownership; the order was not as ordered and a worker (that appeared to be in charge) said "you did not order it that way" and that they did not put toppings on the side. No one offered any solution so the server was asked to just put it on the sandwich and complied. The fact that JJ's don't deliver past the 600 block going east in Sedalia is really dumb. I love the food I only wish I could get them to deliver to my house in the 1700 block on east 7th. I was told it didn't matter if it was a big order or not. They won't deliver that far east! The food is Great, the service stinks! read more

Really good sandwiches! I recently tried the Gargantuan. Whoa! That's a beast. They handed it to me on a fork lift before I finished paying. There were six people in line ahead of me and I watched them hand everyone there sandwich before they finished paying. That's cool! Had to see it to believe it. I ate at Q in the Burg last week and they could take a lesson from the double J in sense of urgency. This place is really fast. I'm working around the menu trying various sandwiches so I don't get burned out. I can tell I'll be eating here often. I'm lucky my workplace is in there limited delivery area. I can see why they limit it. They get our orders to us in less than ten minutes every time we order from them. Very clean cut, fast delivery drivers. I've never been a chip person until a coworker shared some of her BBQ chips. I'm hooked. Thick and salty, I liked a lot. Impressive! Went there today for lunch and there was a bus full of college volley ball players. It was cool watching them pump out sandwiches. There lobby was packed and I still didn't have to wait for my lunch. My billy club was great tasting. The bread is killer! The chips are to die for. The service there is very friendly and extremely fast. Really cool looking restaurant. You don't feel like your in a fast food environment. Except the food is lightning fast. I'm a long time resident and enjoy all that Sedalia has to offer. Recently I took my family out to eat and experience the cusine at the local Jimmy John's Sandwich Shop. Upon entering I was immediately surprised because it smelled of marijuana and the employees were all in the back. We approached the counter to place our order and waited for serveral minutes before someone came to take our order. The young person began to ask what we'd like and stopped staring at my wife's breasts began laughing and said, "Jesus Christ lady are those things real!" Unable to stop laughing he went to the back and sent someone else to take our order. We demanded to see the manager. The new person left and returned with what I can only assume was the manager. Before we could even state our issue we were asked to leave in a very rude manner. As we made our way out the door we could hear laughter coming from the back.
