Two days in a row they forgot things about the order and made the sandwiches wrong. I always tip a nice amount so not understanding what the problem is. ordered delivery at 11:02am still waiting for my order at 12:35pm, out for delivery since 11:35am. Attempted to call the store, the first two times no one picked up. The third time the phone was answered only to be directly put on hold. So far from freaky fast, how they charge $4.00 for delivery is absurd. read more

I ordered a chicken bacon ranch, which is toasted, but they brought me my sandwich burnt. I called because it was so uneatable. When they answered the phone I asked for a manager, a guy told me he was the "assistant" I told him my sandwhich was burnt and I would like a remake or my money back, he said "I dont know if we can give you a refund or a void or whatever, but hang on a second." Then my delivery driver claims she's the manager and hops on the phone, proceeds to say she will remake it and be on the way, and then hangs up on me. She comes with no sandwich, a horrible attitude, and disrespect. I asked her for her name and she told me it's Dawn. I ask her for the corporate number, but she doesn't have it. I called the store back, I was put on hold with the guy in the beginning, I hung up and called them again, and finally seemed to get the real manager. She tells me she made the sandwich and it was not burnt (mind you regardless what she thinks I am the one who spent 20 dollars on the sandwhich for me to not eat it), even though you can tast it being burnt and see that it's black, and then it takes 10 minutes to finally get the corporate number, after listening to them talking bad about me on the phone. I will be contacting corporate, as well as never coming back here again. I will also add I work in customer service and would never treat my costumers like this. read more

Yeah...I live in central Illinois, travel frequently to St Louis. Ive stopped here 6 times in 6 mos. Disappointed every time. Employees fooling around behind the counter, incorrect portions, incomplete orders. If you eat here, check your sandwich at the counter. For the record, I love Jimmy Johns. Probably grab a sandwich (#16, square wheat, extra turkey) from a Jimmy Johns twice a month. If you're reading this, do yourself a favor and skip this location. There are other good Jimmy Johns in Springfield and if you're heading south, the one in Litchfield is worth the wait. read more

Ordered Jimmy Johns for dinner tonight after two days of traveling. I placed our order on the ap, and when it got here, there were no napkins or condiments (both of which I had ordered). I called the store and told them what had happened, and the response was "well do you need us to make another delivery of the napkins and condiments?" I love J.J.!!! I always get the big john (roast beef, shredded lettuce, tomato, and MAYO!), salt and vinegar chips, a big dill pickle, and a Barq's root beer. It is always yummy! This location is our favorite. They are always SUPER friendly and cheerful. I think I want one now. Do you guys deliver to Pawnee? I didn't think so. :( read more

I like Jimmy Johns. It kept me fed during college and it's great for a quick meal. Everything always tastes fresh. My one complaint is that they sure do use a lot of mayo. So much I wonder if they are owned by Hellmans. I always request no mayo. I've not had a bad experience here. I have a regular order at the downtown Jimmy johns. This location has done a good job of replicating it, once. The other times I've been here they mess it up. Today for instance: My gigantic sub was a regular, they did not add extra tomato, they did not add Italian sauce and my pickle was not cut as instructed. Well they were slammed. Jimmie Johns is fast, but the staff are not very helpful. I am a repeat customer and enjoy the food, but the staff always seem more interested in talking with each other than attending to the customers (not just me). Not impressed! I usually would say they're good but service not so much ! evidently they have fairly large radius, which I do not exceed, yet they refuse to deliver. Their reason?? they say, "if they deliver at my location it will cause the driver to be late for his other deliveries." I call BULL!!, worst excuse ever! Horrible horrible, right from the start. First off the cashier was so high that when my order of $17.10 confused him cause I paid him with a ten a five and two ones plus a dime. He stared at the money had to count it three times then started grabbing for change but realized there was none. Then ordered a sandwich with no tomatoes plus hot peppers. Well suprise! Got tomatoes and no peppers. So after looking for napkins for 5 minutes I stood at the counter and asked if in the napkin in my hand I could have some peppers. Well the girl working right in front of me started towards them but the weak chinned "managerish" type guy with no neck or people skills stopped her and said "can't have items on the side"...what? What? Thought he was joking with me. But then he ignored me so I say "what?!" Then he says bring your sandwich up here and I'll put them on it. Well had I not already opened it and put chips on wrapper then that wouldn't be so difficult, but I had, so not happening. Well at jimmy johns even though your the customer it doesn't matter what you want they are not there to make you happy. They are there to serve you fast garbage and move on, and not break "the rules" cause I'm guessing the corporate office sits and watches the store videos every night to see if items are given on the side so they can terminate that employee immediately..well the employees at the jimmy johns on north Dirksen are rebels and rule breakers cause they have done it before. And those guys have never made me wanna throw my sandwich at their face. Go to Monty's or headwest,subway, penn station if you want customer service..there are way more options that shitty johns..
