The seasonal salad was a house salad with strawberries, cucumbers, greens, red onions, some sort of a sweet oat cluster, and a kiwi salad dressing. My wife and I came for dinner yesterday for an early dinner about 3:30, should have gotten the message right away. No one was at the desk to seat us so I walked in further and got the attention of a man rolling silverware who then seated us in an empty section. It appeared that only 4 other tables were occupied in the entire restaurant. Two other tables got seated shortly after us and a waitress brought them water. When she returned to take their drink order I asked her who would be waiting on us? She replied that she would but the other tables were there first. I explained that we had been seated first and her response was OH. She then took our drink order and left. After quite some time the man who had seated us brought my beer but nothing for my wife. More time goes by and the waitress comes to take our food order and we explain that she was still waiting on her drink. With annoyed look she states she put the order in. A third waiter comes by and she asked him about the drink and he stated there was only a beer order. 20 minutes has gone by since we arrived so we said just cancel it we are leaving the waitress turned and walked off . I asked the other waiter how much for the beer I had not drank he said $6 dollars and also walked away. I left the money on the table. No one cared or apologized one bit. As we got close to the door the waitress said she put the order in , look here at my pad! No remorse no accountability! Definitely no service! read more

This could've easily been a five-star experience, but unfortunately, our server seemed a bit out of his depth. That said, it didn't detract from the overall experience. The interior is largely unchanged from when this place was Fox Run, but it's been given a thorough refresh--clean, organized, and well-kept. In all honesty, though, none of that really mattered to my party of three. We've been raving about the food ever since our visit, and even three days later, we're still talking about it. This restaurant is in a shopping center, away from Main Street, which is kind of a bummer, but that being said, it's also right by the interstate, so easy to get back on the road. Wide and spacious, a little dark because of the curtains, though they do have a patio. Clean and well kept. This is mostly bar or tavern food. I had the sautéed Brussels sprouts with Thai chili sauce. It was a little too sweet for me, but still a good starter. Maybe I should have gone with the artichoke dip. They also have a Buffalo chicken dip, chicken wings, and a few other apps. They have lots of handhelds: various burgers, fish sandwiches and wraps, and a spicy goat burger I was eyeing, but didn't get (goat cheese, jalapeno bacon, hot honey). My server recommended the salmon, but I didn't go for that because it was also Thai chili glazed, and that wasn't what I was looking for. I ended up getting the pepper crusted NY strip. It was fine. I ordered a side of fries. Basic shoestring fries, but they were hot and crispy. Other entrees include fried grouper, spicy grouper, southwest grouper (grouper, grouper, grouper), and a couple renditions of chicken. I had some of their cocktails, all were pretty refreshing. I enjoyed the paloma most. Good portions, decent taste. My server was great. And not only was she great, another server who seated me kept checking on me as well, making sure I had plenty of water and that I liked my meal. He was definitely a people person. The food is okay. This place was worth the hype! I love the healthy options. It's also a gluten free paradise! There were lots of gluten free options; the flatbreads all come GF, but the buns and pastas come GF for an extra cost. The flatbread was crispy and flavorful. The chicken wings were huge and perfectly cooked. They also have a great selection of salads, I think the beet salad is the best. They had a huge drink selection! A decent selection of beers on tap, but tons more in cans and bottles. Everything was reasonably priced and the service was quick. The drink menu looks so tasty! Since we were visiting from out of town, we had to try a horseshoe. It was interesting... but neither of us were fond of the cheese sauce. This place is AMAZING! I wasn't able to take a photo of my food and drinks because they were devoured within the first ten minutes! I've never found a restaurant around Springfield that has a fine dining palate at a reasonable price and this is the GEM! I had the spicy goat cheese burger and sweet potato tots, and my fiancée had the salmon flatbread and we shared a few old fashioned cocktails and we were so impressed at the fresh ingredients balanced together with each meal and the quality of everything. The old fashioned drinks were made with such high quality at a great price that this place puts Curate (another local Springfield fine dining restaurant) in competition. On 10/10/25 three of us ate lunch there. We ordered 3 burgers and when they came there was a miniature beef patty that looked like it was from a freezer pack. Cheese was an additional $2.99. additionally, we ordered sweet potato tots and they came out as a half portion. Burgers only come with a small portion of chips and no fries. All of us just had waters. Bill came to $68 with tip. Massively overpriced and portions have shrunk. I will never eat there again. Mid-afternoon, few customers, the place was fairly dark and we initially thought closed. However, discovered it was open and Kallie answered knowledgably all our daughter's questions regarding the vegan offerings and steered her where she appeared comfortable in ordering. Hubby and son ordered Yuengling Flight drinks. I ordered the beet salad and added shrimp, our daughter the vegan sausage mushroom flatbread and vegan beet salad (sub vegan cheese). Hubby and son also ordered the Classic Steakburger and our son ordered a side of veggie skewers. Unfortunately, that meant he didn't get the fries that came with hubby's burger and they shared. It also meant our son left still hungry. I'm super angry with myself for not getting a pic of that magnificent beet salad. Beautiful and SOOO good! I'd recommend that first to anyone and with the shrimp? Perfect tho the shrimp made it a bit pricey where most menu items were moderately priced. Still, those shrimp were not small. The service was good, the food delicious, and the place was filling up as we were leaving. We've been several times with good experiences. Burgers are good, tots are great. At our last visit I had chili that was very good (vegetarian) and I'm definitely a meat eater. Also had a Caesar salad that was not good. Fresh ingredients but no taste. Very light on the dressing. I should have ask for more dressing but even then it would have been a disappointment. I don't usually leave food reviews on yelp however, I recently learned that I have celiac disease. Trying to find a place in Springfield where I can have a meal with my family is incredibly difficult. This place is the one place where I feel normal again and get to eat out at. Not only do they take allergies very seriously here. They also make sure to have a dedicated oven and fryer so that no cross contamination happens. With the food a majority of it is already gluten-free. Anything that's not gluten-free they can make gluten-free. Sandwiches can have gluten-free buns. Pastas can be substituted for gluten-free pasta. The desserts are gluten-free and all of the sauces I was told are gluten-free. Not only do I get to feel normal again I get to enjoy food again! I do say, well done! The staff is very knowledgeable about the food and they have wonderful recommendations. The first thing they asked after we sat down was, "Do we have any allergies?" which I was so grateful for. Getting diagnosed with celiac disease later in life seemed like such a big obstacle but because of this place it feels a lot easier and safer. read more

I am recommending this restaurant with some reservation. First, let me say the food was fabulous, especially the homemade pickle appetizer. Our four entrees were very good. Tremendous! Our wait person, Kierra, was absolutely amazing. Great sense of humor, accomplished, talented! We would go back because of her! That said, the experience started out very poorly. We arrived 30 minutes early for our afternoon reservation (we were traveling from out of town). The guy who was hosting was clearly annoyed. The bar area was not busy so we offered to simply sit at a high top there. He reluctantly said okay and as we approached, I asked if we could sit at the high top on the edge of a wall, not in the middle of the room. We are older and it's easier for us to hear. Let me be clear, I was very nice about this request. He, however, was a jerk. His response was "here", rolled his eyes, tossed the menus down and walked away. And there we sat for 20 minutes without a server. I left the table to use the restroom and as I was coming out, the host was at the end of the bar saying to another staff person "they can sit where I fu&king seat them". We were prepared to leave but my friend went up to Kierra and explained the situation and she made the rest of the experience fabulous. So, my suggestion is that staff be trained to be like Kierra. Had it not been for her, we would have left and missed a great meal. read more

I am a newcomer to being vegetarian but with every place I've been I have never had anything as good as the gluten free vegetarian shoe before. It was absolutely amazing and it was gluten free as well! The sample platter gave me such a unique variety of different options that each were delicious in their own way that it was hard to choose only one to eat at a time. Finishing off with the Flourless Chocolate cake and its fudge like goodness I am absolutely stunned by my experience here and would gladly come here again.
