We stopped in Springfield on our road trip and found this place for a burger and it was very yummy. The only downside is they only offer HUGE burgers but we were able to share so it worked out for us. I also had one of their beers but can't remember which one, maybe it was blueberry?? It was good but a little sweet so wish I had gotten a smaller one. The fries were also great, obviously home made. I will say we sat outside because it was a gorgeous day but you can't walk back in the side door so you have to walk around to the front every time which was odd and inconvenient. read more

I had the Cluck Off sandwich which may just be among the top 3 best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. The onion rings weren't great, though, imo. The onion pieces were too thick and the breading was too thick. If I go back, I'll choose the fries, which looked good. It's a cute place! Lots of high top and regular seating options. Oh my god as if the pizzas weren't good enough, they have incredible sandwiches, too! We love going to Thursday night trivia (7pm, get there early it's PACKED) and eating dinner. I had to cut my sandwich in half because it was enormous! It was SO. GOOD. I had the Cubano and my fiancé had the Fuhgedabadit sandwich. He said it was incredible and I believe him with how good mine was. The fries are soooo good, too. I love the decor/art, and the music is always good, and the staff is fantastic. Some tables are spacious enough for a stroller also so we take our 5 month old with us and she's got plenty of room to be out of the way. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. read more

Seemed like a great place with fun ambiance if you're not in a hurry. Service issues. Waited 45 minutes and still no food. All I ordered was a classic burger with fries. They blamed it on short staffing and I got a refund. Now I'm still hungry. read more

The staff is friendly. Great sandwiches and flat bread pizza. Sparking cider is wonderful. It's a relaxed atmosphere, too.

We called in an order to go. It took quite a while longer than we were told on the phone to receive the food, but life happens. But they also weren't very kind in the midst of that. They didn't give us all of the food we ordered, missing a side salad and a drink so we went back up and showed the receipt and received the forgotten items, but they didn't even fill the drink up all the way. It was a lot of really small things that added up poorly about the customer service interaction. That being said, the food was really good. read more

We happened upon this place because it was within walking distance from the Lincoln Museum. Oh my, this place did not disappoint! We ordered the flatbread pizzas Ol Standby and Il Supremo. It was so delicious. The crust was perfect. There was just the right amount of sauce and cheese and toppings. We were on a bus tour, but if this place was local, I'd be there all the time. Food is outstanding. Pizza/Flatbread is great. We ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and received the best one I've ever had. It was interesting that the cheese was on the outside and grilled crisp...was hesitant when we first saw it, but after one bite we knew we would be back. Add to this it's also the Forge & Anvil Brewery/Distillery and you have local brew too. If you haven't been there, go out of your way to do so! read more

My husband ordered the fish and chips. I ordered the Margherita flatbread. The breading on the fish was thick. French fries were very good. The coleslaw was rather bitter. The flatbread smelled burnt. Crust was thick and it was covered with an excessive amount of red sauce. Flattop smoking and stinking without a hood fan above it really added to the ambiance.... Full menu wasn't available, so opted for a single slice of pepperoni and a pint of beer. The pizza was both burnt and underdone...sitting under a heat lamp for who knows long... can get a better crappy slice of pizza at Hyvee. Ordered a supreme pizza and a salad to go without knowing anything other than the yelp reviews and online menu. Turns out the pizza is 8 huge slices and the salad is enough as a side for 4-6 people! I wish I had known the supreme would be as meaty and spicy as it was. Very thin chewy crust, lots of meat. Very flavorful. While not my personal favorite I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves, say, a big juicy Italian sub or spicy meaty lasagna. The place was very busy but my food was prepared carefully and was ready at the promised time. I did have to stand in line to pick it up-I recommend arriving before the time they say to account for that. Salad was fresh and huge, yet nothing special overall. People in the place were drinking, talking and laughing; having a great time. It seemed to be more about the drinks than the food.
