This is a fun little sandwich shop. The walls are lined with fun inspirational sayings. The seating is a mix between tall booths and seating with stools. It's clean and bright. The sandwiches are superb! I had the number five, the Vito with hot peppers added. The bread is the perfect thickness and not too heavy. The sandwich is 8 inches. The ingredients all taste fresh. I enjoyed it thoroughly. My hubby went for the J.J. Gargantuan. All I could here was oh this is good, and other such comments in between bites. There is no way I could eat that thing. It's huge! He enjoyed it though. The chips are also really good. They are crisp and well flavored without being greasy. We finished off with a chocolate chip cookie of which I have not one bad thing to say about. Yum. Yum. Yum. I went in hungry and left happy, satisfied and not feeling that icky weighed down feeling. I am self admittedly not a sandwich/sub person but we had never seen this chain before and hubby wanted to try. I have to say, this is one of the best, freshest sandwiches I have ever had! We split one - #9. The server was friendly and was able to give the popular recommendations. (#9 and #12) It came out quickly too. This sandwich is served on a nutty,honey wheat bread. I was not sure at first as the bread is already pre-cut into slices in a big bin and initially I questioned how fresh it could be. It was so fresh! 3 types of Italian meats were included with sprouts, onions, tomatoes... we added cucumber at no charge for the fresh crunch that worked well and left out the mayo and the cheese. It also has a drizzle of this really nice oil that helped season the sandwich perfectly and with no mess! I will be thinking about that sandwich for some time and no splitting next time, I want my own! :) Next time too we will try extra meat for the $1.99 up charge, Really good quality. read more

Today I called in to place an order the #17, bbq chips, drink and a pickle. Andrew answered and was lost from the beginning from not able to hear me, taking order, and finalizing my payment. I finally told him I would pay cash. Well he put the phone down and another guy picked up and asked me who I was and asked me for the complete order again. I told him this was crazy so I requested to speak to management. Reggie picked up phone and started again requesting my order. I explained to him the situation and he apologized and said the first guy Andrew was new. Well he took my order, completed it and it was delivered quick like they always to that is why I enjoy their food, but when I got my order it was missing the pickle. I always order from them and this time was the worst ever. And to top it off no pickle with my sandwich, that is bad. Great food. Turkey tom w/ peppers is a favorite. Simple yet tasty with a kick. This is the most random thing but they don't give anyone napkins. I didn't ask for any. assumed everyone would get the usual 2-3 napkins to go with the meal. I noticed the next two orders also went napkin-less. I just thought it was bizarre...there is no napkin trays at the tables either. Good food, fast service, hot peppers will keep me coming back. I used the paper towels from the restroom as a napkin... now that i think of it, that's gross! I looked around then entire restaurant and didn't see a single napkin. The night manager ( tall and Hispanic with a crappy attitude) at the Mooney Jimmy Johns is absolutely rude and unprofessional. No way should he be in customer service. I ordered two BLT's and one was delivered with no bacon. Ok fine, I thought it was a bit comical at first. I then call the store and speak to the manager who from the start is very rude and demands that I look threw the sandwich and tells me I am wrong. I wasn't wrong. I asked him to bring me a sandwich with bacon he said fine but I need the one you have back. I said fine, there literally is not one piece of bacon on it. He had the nerve to tell me I was being rude and that I was lying. I was actually calm until he said that. He acted as if he had no common sense or common curtesy. I ended up bringing the sandwich back to the store myself and his attitude changed a bit. He didn't have a rude comment,he acted shocked that I came in.He told me well a lot of people try to scam us. I said well not me, give someone the benefit of the doubt when they order from you all the time. I brought my entire order back for a full refund and I will not be returning to this store again.
