We used the mobile app for a pickup and it said it would be ready in 20min, we showed up a few min early and I had to use the restroom, now, lucky for me, I didn't know that I was about to see the most hilarious bathroom art I think I've come upon. I've seen Tom Brady with the bobble eyes glued on his face kinda funny, but this, this was masterful. From a sandwich spot no less. Jimmy has Jokes and they're hitting just like their Sammie's! The toasted subs are delicious, especially their version of the Italian, but cold is also very good. They give you an option to hollow the sandwich bread out and I would suggest that. Their bread isn't the same as other sub shops, it's more dense on the outside but soft on the inside. It's even better when you get it toasted! I love Jimmy John's sandwiches. The bread is made in their store fresh everyday. You can actually smell the bread when you walk through the doors. All Ingredients perfect and fresh. I would say this WAS my favorite deli. Unfortunately they don't deliver to my house, though they do deliver to my daughter''s house a few minutes from my house. I am long time fan of Jimmy John's #9 Italian Night Club. This visit was my first to this location. My usual go to is the store on Main St. My sandwich was perfect with the appropriate amount of salami, capicola, ham & provolone, onion, easy-lettuce, tomato, mayo, oil & vinegar, & oregano-basil. They got the easy lettuce request right. The two employees made it clearly obvious that they would rather be anywhere else than in that restaurant, so minus one star. They were not the least bit friendly or helpful other than making my sandwich as well as it was. I guess that is all that matters. Jimmy Johns is a great sandwich shop! And it always has me coming back for more ;-) We usually find ourselves picking up a sandwich to eat while watching a big game on t.v or to take with us to Lake Kaweah in the summer. My favorite is the #12. It has turkey, avocado, cucumber, provolone, lettuce, and tomato. Their bread is unique but I absolutely love it's chewy texture. Consistency is a big thing for me so I appreciate that my sandwich is always fresh. In addition, the employees are very attentive. I am always greeted the moment I walk in. Jimmy Johns also hangs their reputation on having "freaky fast" service and I am a believer! We usually order two sandwiches and we have never waited more than three minutes for them. I have been to other jimmy johns in town and the staff has always been friendly but I went to the one on Walnut tonight. First let me say there was absolutely nobody in the store except the two employees It was about 720 in the evening. When I walked in nobody said hi and a guy came to the register and asked what did I want to order. I paid got my drink and turned to get my sandwich that the girl had just finished. She plopped the sandwich on the counter and dropped my receipt on the floor, looked up and made eye contact with me shrugged and turned around leaving my receipt on the floor. I picked up my receipt from the floor and my sandwich and ask her for napkins. She walked over picked up two napkins that were laying on the counter with lettuce and crumbs on top of them and set them on the top counter. The young man at the register tried to be helpful with our requests to place a large catering order with plain dry sandwiches and a few veggies on the side, until the very rude & condescending man; caucasian, dirty blonde, curly, longer hair whose name I wish I would have noted, interjected with his condescending smile that there was no way they would ever do that, actually went on & on about it. The worst this you can do to me is disrespect me, he doesn't know who we are or what we do & should not be working beside the nice young Hispanic man at the register.
