Coming back now, I wanted to see if it still lived up to the five stars I gave it back then, not out of nostalgia, but out of curiosity. The menu has grown into a wide spread: sandwiches, salads, burgers, chicken fried steak, even pasta. It's the kind of menu that makes you realize this place is built to feed everyone, no matter what they're in the mood for. I started with something simple, a water on a hot summer day, and it arrived with a lemon wedge. It's a small touch, but one I haven't seen in a while. The kind of detail that tells you someone still cares about the basics. It was lunchtime, so I waited a bit to be seated, but that's just part of dining in a small town. The waitress was kind, patient, and attentive in a way that stood out. Before I could even ask, she refilled my water multiple times, noticing the half‑empty glass and taking care of it without hesitation. That kind of service goes a long way. I ordered the jalapeño burger, and it came out faster than expected. The fries were lightly salted steak fries, my favorite, and cooked just right. The burger itself was a mixed experience. The bun was grilled, which gave it good flavor, but it also made it collapse into a thin, flat shape the moment I picked it up. And while I ordered a jalapeño burger expecting heat, the jalapeños were thick, grilled slices from a large pepper. Every bite was dominated by jalapeño, to the point where the burger itself got lost in the background. I love spicy food, but the balance was off, more jalapeño than burger. Still, the service was warm, the goodbye on the way out was genuine, and the menu has enough variety that I'd come back to try something different. I'm not handing out five stars this time, but I'm also not writing this place off. Pete's Place is part of Exeter's rhythm, and revisiting it felt like checking in with an old spot that still has plenty to offer, just maybe not that jalapeño burger again.

On a very hot day, it was so nice to walk into the restaurant and enjoy their air conditioning, which felt like a breath of fresh air. The place was getting busy, but our service remained good, and our food came out quickly. Everything we ordered was tasty. I didn't manage to finish my meal, so I took it to go and enjoyed it the next day. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was still delicious. Overall, Los Panchos is a solid spot for a satisfying meal, especially on a hot day, and I would definitely recommend it!

On top of that, his own burrito was missing three ingredients that he specifically requested. When he politely tried to address the issues, the owner of this location was very disrespectful. Several customers who witnessed the interaction even commented that the owner should not have handled the situation that way. Instead of trying to resolve the problem or simply remaking the burritos, they refused to serve him, even though we had already paid $51 for two burritos and two drinks. Save your money and spend it somewhere that values its customers and is willing to make things right when there is a problem. By far one of the worse restaurants I have been too.

I personally choose the number 1 and number 4 as my favorite. The number four is the cheeseburger with a medium drink and special season fries. The burger is so juicy. It is cooked to a crisp perfection on top of a buttery but non-soggy bun, topped with lettuce, onion, tomato, and a special sauce that just takes your taste buds on a joyride. The number one is a double cheeseburger with bacon served with a large season fry and large drink. What I love about the drive in, is that the price fits perfect for how much food comes with your order. It is a perfect quiet environment to go on a date. Which is exactly what my boyfriend and I did we enjoyed every second of it and to finish off our date he surprised me with a banana split to share. It comes with chocolate strawberries, and pineapple ice cream, with the cut fruit on the top. I was not a big fan of the pineapple but i will say it was the best banana split I've ever had. I was told I could not order food, which was confusing considering they close at 10 PM. If employees want to stop serving that early, maybe update the closing hours to 9:30 instead. The speaker system is outdated and so staticky you can barely hear anything being said. The employee taking orders was rude from the start and acted irritated when I had to ask multiple times what she said because she was mumbling. I ordered a Reese's cyclone and was handed an Oreo cyclone instead. When I politely explained it was the wrong order, I was basically told I would have to take it regardless of it not being what I ordered. When I pushed back, things got unnecessarily escalated instead of being handled with simple customer service. Bringing over two other employees while remaking my cyclone made the situation even more uncomfortable and completely unnecessary. After all the drama and attitude over such a simple mistake, I honestly didn't even feel comfortable eating it and ended up throwing it away because I wasn't sure if it had been tampered with. If you don't like your job, maybe you shouldn't work there, or at least take some customer service training. A little kindness and professionalism go a long way. Save yourself the trouble and drive a few extra miles to Exeter for Frosty King or Burger Express. Much friendlier employees and far better service.

The restaurant was closed at the time as it was night time, but we were attracted by the bright lights of the food truck! We enjoyed the tacos and horchata and have been raving about it since. Knowing we'd be in the area once more on another sequoia trip, we knew we had to re-visit. Our Airbnb was located in Visalia and it looks like they have another location there as well, however, after calling, I confirmed that it isn't the exact same menu and it's owned by different brothers. Knowing this, I knew I had to go back to the exact location we went to last. This time around, I opted for 2 carne asada tacos and 2 Al pastor tacos. The tacos each come with raw finely chopped onion, pico de gallo and guacamole, with perfectly grilled onions and jalapeño on the side. The carne asada meat was perfectly cooked per usual and it had a delicious smoky flavor and the al pastor was just as delicious! Horchata - not too overpowering and perfectly sweetened. If I ever find myself in central cali, I'll be back in a heartbeat! Also, please note that the truck names tacos way is the same exact food as the restaurant called Los arbolitos, the restaurant just has an expanded menu.
