The only thing nice I can say about this place is that the employees were friendly. Manager needs training. I ordered a sandwich and asked if I could have it without a particular meat on it which I was told I could. Then I watched them take a prepackaged meat and cheese pile and pick that particular meat out of it leaving the residue still on the sandwich. I decided to deal with that and try it anyway. I got home opened up my sandwich And the bread was too crunchy to eat. Not just crunchy, but hard, as in it sounds like a hammer when you tap the table with it. Honestly I probably could hammer a nail in with one end of it. Called the business and talked to an employee who wasn't helpful, talked to a manager who really didn't seem to give a care whatsoever. Well I tried ordering from them. Placed my delivery order on their website and confirmed my address (they even show you your house on a map when you confirm) and yet somehow my order was still delivered somewhere else. I gave them about 45 mins before I called, they said they could remake it but it would take another 45 mins. No apology, instead made it seem like I entered the wrong address. I asked for a refund so hopefully I actually get it. Don't waste your time. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was my third time ordering from jimmy johns paying cash. I clearly told the employee who took my order we need change. Each time, the driver comes without change. HOW DO YOU COME WITHOUT CHANGE? Called the manager and he was not helpful at all. He has no proper reasoning to why his driver didn't have change. He was rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I then asked him name and he said " I am minor and not giving my name to a stranger" A true leader and manager would of addressed this situation differently and not be scared to inform a customer their name. I have been ordering from jimmy johns in Volo il for over two years now. Catering parties, constant delivery to my family's home. Today I called and placed my order, and paid over the phone. Ten minutes later I received a phone call from an extremely rude employee, he stated that they will not be delivering our food (that has already been paid for) because we are out of the zone. (3.4 miles away) and that I could come and pick up the food and receive a cookie for the delivery fee. He also stated that I must be lying because the "zone" hasn't changed in 10 years... I have also had them deliver to my house and workplace and every time the order is fast and accurate. The sandwiches are always generous with their toppings too! The disrespect from this place is unreal. Drivers don't have change for cash orders, when you tell them cash before hanging up. So unprofessional. Than the disrespect on the phone, if you're a manager and can't even give out your name or offer anything to make it better?!? I stopped at this jimmy johns in a rush thinking it would be "freaky fast" to say the least it was the exact opposite. I was the only customer in the store. I ordered a regular sub and as they began making it another man walked in and started to talking to an employee. All of the employees started talking to this guy as my sandwich laid there half made for over 10 minutes like I wasn't even there. Finally I had to speak up and politely ask for my sandwich. Sub was ok. Cookie was better. Turned off for a few reasons 1) the employee was refilling the chips by sitting on the ground. It erks me to see people get paid to do a job and then sit on their butt while working 2) one employee had the big piece of meat in his hands. Nothing wrong with that obviously, buy the person could've been a bit more sanitary and wore gloves while handling raw meat. read more

The time it takes to have your sub delivered to you is absurd. A half hour is not freaky fast. I've ordered from this location at different times of the day, during different days of the week and it's always the same thing. Went there Sunday and was very disappointed with the service! I asked them to put mayo on one of our sandwiches and they refused. Then I asked if they could put my sandwiches in a bag and she threw a bag on top my sandwiches. I asked her if she would put them In the bag ( my hands were full at the time) and got a snotty answer that it's self serve.
