Jimmy Johns is known for their fast service. I have even heard it called "freaky fast." That part hold true. Jimmy John's was our choice for a quick bite to eat while running to a few stores. It was my dad's first time trying JJ's and probably my second/third. The tables weren't cleaned off, they still had crumbs & what was leftover of someone's remaining sauce on the table, and there were a few people behind the counter so I know at least one could've ran a clean cloth over them in between customers. I ordered an Italian Night Club; the sub wasn't lacking in the meat department, but it was very dry & needed more mayo/oil & vinegar, the things that come on it. Bread was soft. Everything was fresh I could tell. He got the Big John which he said he liked. Seems like this JJ's doesn't have the greatest hit based off of reviews; mine wasn't bad, it was more in the middle which is why I gave 3 stars. The dirty tables are what bother me the most, coming from someone who's worked in the fast food industry it doesn't take long to clean them. read more

This location I've noticed barely puts anything on the sandwich compared to other JJ's locations. You also will come to find that a large majority of the staff is incredibly rude as well as they like to mess with the customers food. One time I actually called one of the employees out for disrespecting my girlfriend and when we got our sandwiches both of them had no meat on them. I highly suggest people avoid this location they lack the proper customer service training and have no respect for their customers. read more

Very dissatisfied. A young tall slim man took my order. Real bad attitude and doesn't say thank you. The girl making sandwiches was trash talking to another young lady about corporate being upset if the don't do the paperwork correct. The girl puts my sandwiches up and doesn't thank me. They must be desperate for help so they allow terrible service. In the past some very nice ladies worked here and maybe they still do but not tonight and that boy with the nasty attitude will hurt the business significantly. I really enjoy fresh sandwiches. I really love that Jimmy John's keeps it simple. My favorite thing to get here is the Turkey Tom. They also have the option for a lettuce wrap. The food is fresh and made right in front of you, and it really is freaky fast! This particular location is very well kept. The employees are all friendly here too. To me this place is leaps and bounds better than subway (especially the sketchy wentzville location!) The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars was because they stopped serving sprouts. Love Jimmy Johns and order from there weekly, sometimes more than once a week. This locations staff leaves a lot to be desired though. My husband and I have called a few times and the staff was rude. Even lied about a soda type just to get off the phone fast because they were busy. I will think twice about ordering again just because of the poor customer service offered. We all have bad days dude-don't take it out on a paying customer!! **WARNING DO NOT VISIT JIMMY JOHNS WENTZVILLE** So, I've waited awhile to post this because I was giving the owners the chance to make it right. But obviously, that didn't happen. Sorry in advance for the long review/rant but I feel compelled to warn anyone willing to listen, especially women, not to give patronage to Jimmy Johns in Wentzville. So a week ago, Jimmy Johns messed up our order on two separate occasions. Mistakes happen, it was under new management, and we understood, but really, we just wanted our money refunded. The manager did apologize and told us to return to the store with our receipt for a refund. So, I go by the store with my receipt and ask for the refund. This is where the whole event turns atrocious and unbelievable. (I just want to note here that we paid for things that they forgot to put into our bag. It's not like we were dissatisfied with the food. We paid for things we didn't get from them.) The supervisor/team leader tells me she cannot refund my money, so I tell her she needs to contact the manager who said she would. She calls the manager then proceeds to tell me the manager says we can't get our money back. So I call my husband and children in from the car and tell my husband what's going on. My husband asks the supervisor what's wrong. She says she can't refund our money. My husband tells her she needs to re-contact the manager to explain we brought the receipt, that we need our refund. The supervisor then indicates the manager or owner was coming to the store to refund our money. My husband says that's all we wanted and said we would wait for them to arrive. My husband took the kids and sat in a corner booth while we waited. When the manager shows up, she tells two customers she was sorry she was out of uniform but that I MADE her come in on her off-day to refund my money. I laughed quietly at her attempt to shame me. Then, a man who was infringing on my space says, "Do you think this is funny?" I said, "No, not at all, I'm sad that this has escalated to this." He says, "You think it's funny you almost made this girl [the supervisor/team leader] cry." I said, "I'm sorry, I wasn't intending for anyone to cry." The manager then says, "Don't apologize to me, apologize to her [the supervisor]. You almost made her cry on her first day." I apologized and said I didn't realize it was her first day but I was frustrated she wasn't going to refund my money. The man then says, "You don't need to be talking badly about the manager either behind her back." He continues to step closer to me in an attempt to intimidate, wanting to know where I worked. Unbeknownst to the man, my husband was making his way up to the counter to intercept our conversation. He continued to berate me when my husband stepped between us and informed him he was NEVER to speak disrespectfully to a woman, especially his wife. My husband told the man if he had something to say, he could say to him. Now my husband thought this was a delivery driver because he stood next to the counter and arrived when the manager did. So the man told my husband "we need to take this outside." My husband walks outside and the man keeps walking away. My husband asked where the man was going and he yells, "To my truck." My husband came back into the store and asked the manager who the man was. The manager says, "My husband." My husband asks if he was an employee or owner and the manager said he was NOT. My husband becomes furious and scolds the manager about her husband, not an employee, talking to a customer especially in a disrespectful manner. The man walks back into the store and yells at my husband, "You don't talk to my wife!" My husband informs the man his wife was the manager and she was at her place of business. The man walks towards my husband in a threatening manner (not aware my husband was a police officer), and the manager yells at him to leave the store. He tells her he's going to wait for us to leave the store. My husband immediately asked the manager for her name and the corporate number. The manager asks my husband not to contact the corporate office because "it would be bad" for the business. After finally refunding our money, the manager tells me and my husband, "Take your money and don't ever come back." The OWNERS of this store were apologetic, but chose to give their manager, Krista, a second chance and "banned" her husband from the store. For our safety, and for yours if an error is made, we strongly advise you don't go to this location in Wentzville. My three children had to watch a grown man try to fight a woman and her husband. It was a scene out of the twilight zone. read more

So tonight i went to Jimmy Johns to get my normal Gargantuan sandwich (which i love). I chose to eat it in the restraunt and while i was eating it was extremely slow (i was the only costomer there) and there were about 7 employees that obviously needed something to do as they were just standing around talking. One of them then chose to make a really off-putting joke which ended with him chanting "short bus" over and over. To this EVERY other worker joined in and laughed and some continued the joke. As i left i made sure to let them know that that is extremely offensive to some people, to which one of them apologized. I for one will not be going back. And i loved going there for a quick lunch. read more
