We had very friendly serving staff in hand though I can't speak to speed of service because I was distracted by my one year old while my husband ordered. We recently stopped by this location to grab some lunch and I wouldn't say I am a huge sandwich fan but my boyfriend is all about penn station. The women who collected the money was so nice. I wouldn't have thought anything about it but I just never had such great customer service at penn station before. So it stuck out to me. On the receipt it said "Amy" but I don't know if that was her or just the name on the register. Either way, she was very kind and her attitude was just bubbly :) I didn't get to tell her that but I did go back up for a refill and told the gentlemen about how satisfied I was with the service we got that day. I had one really good experience, here. Not so good, today. I ordered lunch for myself and a couple coworkers. One sandwich was served with missing toppings. Like, just meat on bread. The fries we got were cold. The salad was ordered with no cheese, but came with cheese. Not a lot we can do on a lunch break. This was our go to spot. I'm not sure about that anymore. read more

The food is good if you have the time to wait for it. We ordered 2 sandwitches around 5:30 Sunday evening. We sat there and watched other customers come and go while waiting for our order. We also watched the young man and woman who put the sandwiches in bags spend time giggling, talking and just plain fooling around. After what seemed like half an hour I got up and looked thru the glass on the counter and there sat our sandwiches wrapped but not bagged. How long they sat there I do not know. I got the attention of the young woman giggler and asked why our order wasn't bagged and our name call. She giggled and said "ooops, my bad." I could not come up with a good response. On the way out I told the young man working the grill and got an "I'm sorry." We left. Maybe I was expecting too much. Maybe the owner or manager trained his employees to treat customers this way. Penn Station has great grilled subs and this location is fast and friendly. I moved to the area a couple months ago and have been to this location a handful of times and it is always clean. Employees were very nice. They make sure you get fresh fries. I love the teriyaki sandwich and salad. They have plenty of ingredients on the sandwiches. I love the options when you order online. The inside is kind of cramped, but I got it to go. My one recommendation would be a drive thru window or curbside pickup. I didn't know they had cold sandwiches, but if that's your preference, they do. I like mine toasted, but it's about to be 100+ degrees outside, so a cold Sammie might be nice. Awesome service, awesome subs. One of my favorite locations because they make you feel like they appreciate your business. You're greeted immediately upon walking through the door, followed by exceptional service throughout the transaction. They never fail to ask if I would like lemonade or tea, or cookies. A pleasant attitude goes a long way, and this location certainly delivers. Amy was incredible, and as I was finishing this review and asked for her name, she delivered again by asking to top off my lemonade! Some may think this is "normal" or they're supposed to do these things. We'll be honest and ask yourself how many places actually deliver on everything they're supposed to do! As I made my way to the exit one of the sandwhich artists told me to have a great day as well. I improved my rating from 4 stars to 5 before I could even finish the review! read more

After getting contacted by the Franchise owner and sent a couple free sub coupons, we decided to give this place another chance (even though we could go to any of the St Charles locations). We were once again disappointed. We ordered subs larger than what the coupon covers but the manager said this would be OK and they would just discount for the 6 inch cost. We ordered 2 subs used 2 coupons but they only discounted us for one coupon. We didn't notice until we left. We also noticed that they once again got our order wrong and skimped on the fries. We are done with this place and wouldn't recommend it even if they were giving subs away. This is unfortunate cause Penn Station is damn good, and this place gives it a really bad rap. read more

Horrible. Went to get dinner ordered two sandwiches and a large fry was not given my dry, drove 20 minutes home realized I didn't have my Fry and called them then drove d20 minutes back up there and they charged me for the fry. when I asked for owner information they had no phone number to give me just directed me to the website. First time at a Penn Station and my first impression was that the food, service, and atmosphere are great! The people behind the counter got my order right, made it fast, and even brought it to my table! You won't find that at many other sub-shops. Now the food, although not "origional", was still very good! They even have a "Create Your Own" option that was very welcomed. I also appreciate that there was a T.V. on with Basketball playing. All in all I would say my experience here was good, and I would definitely consider coming back if I am in the area again. read more

I've been here before and everything was great but this past Saturday it was not a good experience. Nothing is on the walls due to remodeling, which was fine but the place is dirty. Stuff on the floor that looks like it's been there for days. I ordered the 6in chicken cordon bleu minus honey mustard. They gave it to me with honey mustard even though the ticket attached to it clearly said no honey mustard. The food was still legit but the lack of cleanliness and mess up on the order got this place a 3 which is probably generous. read more

I ordered my sandwiches through door dash pickup. It was suppose to be ready for pickup between 715-720. I got there at 720 told them my name and that I ordered through door dash per instructions from DoorDash. I even got a text that my food was ready for pick up. An employee whom I later found out was the manager said they didn't have that order. I showed him my receipt and after about 5 minutes he found it or figured out it was there. He then rudely told me it would be 20 minutes. I was flabbergasted as it was already ordered prior to my presence and that it would take so long to make two sandwiches. I went out to my car and waited 20 minutes. I came back in and the same rude manager told me they hadn't started my order yet. I was like seriously. So now I decided to wait inside so I was visible and obviously waiting for my food to be completed asap. I asked another nice young lady if she could go ahead and get my lemonade and I picked out my cookies from the basket and had it all sitting on the counter for when I received my food. The manager then stopped working to come over to me and accuse me of stealing cookies. I informed him that I had in fact ordered these cookies and attempted to show him my receipt for the second time but he refused to look and walked off. He was so unprofessional unkind and unintelligent. His name was chuck btw. He then said ok I'll give you the cookies. I said you mean the cookies I have already purchased thank you. After an hour of waiting for two sandwiches I finally got my food. The manager would not give me a refund or Gift card or coupon. Nothing I asked for and rightfully deserved. He said I can throw in a large Fry which I absolutely refused. I left my name and number with him to give the GM. I'm sure she won't get the message. After I finally got home my sister tried to open her sandwich but there was an abundant amount of pizza sauce pouring out of the sandwhich we had explicitly ordered without pizza sauce. Omg!!! WOW!!!! This was the worst experience I've ever had at any fast food or restaurant facility by far! I'm a full time nurse and finally had a day off to take care of my sister who was in an accident and had 9 crushed ribs. I just wanted to grab us a quick dinner that turned into a nightmare on wentzville parkway. I will be telling everyone who will listen never to go to penn station and the horrible way I was treated for absolutely no reason. Nobody deserves how that manager treated me. I have away enjoyed your subs until the other day. I order two special at a cost of $25.00. One I order no peppers for my wife and the other with. well I got both with peppers and I think they forgot the meat. my wife can't eat peppers so that one sandwich that didn't get ate and the other I was real disappointed because it seemed like all that was on it was peppers and at a price of $25.00. Just had a cheese steak sandwich. By far, the worst I ever attempted to eat. They put hot sauce and banana peppers on the sandwiches. The fries were extremely greasy and mushy and not hot. As soon as you open the door to the restaurant, they want to know if you want to eat there or take out. It would be nice to look at the menu first. The crew, although polite, did not seem to be trained and seem to stumble along. I should have known not to eat there wen there were only two customers there on a busy Saturday noon. We ended up just throwing the food in the trash and going on to buy food elsewhere. This place needs management help. read more
